    Ah-ah-ah! A very apt portrayal.

David's life in Pattaya was purely virtual. He had never set foot in the city, yet he knew its streets, bars, and hidden corners better than most locals, thanks to endless hours of online research and Google Maps explorations. His domain was an online sex forum, where he spent countless hours weaving a tapestry of mixed-up, strange stories and playing multiple roles with different profiles.

"The Oracle" prided himself on his ability to challenge everyone in the forum. With a flair for the dramatic and a penchant for vulgar profanity, he would meticulously quote various posters, breaking down their arguments with surgical precision. "Listen here, genius," one of his posts began, "The Oracle has spoken, and your pathetic attempt at logic is laughable. Next time, try using that pea-sized brain of yours before you post. ".

David's favorite pastime was ridiculing other posters. When someone shared a heartfelt story or a genuine query, he would pounce, twisting their words and mocking their naivety. "Oh, did little Johnny get his heart broken again? Boo-hoo! Maybe try growing a pair before you step into The Oracle's realm," he'd type, a smirk spreading across his face as he imagined the reaction.

In one of his more elaborate posts, The Oracle concocted a tale of a wild night in Pattaya, filled with colorful characters and outlandish scenarios. "The Oracle, in all his glory, descended upon the infamous Soi 6, leaving a trail of awe and envy. Women flocked to him, and men could only watch in despair. The Oracle's charm is unmatched, his prowess legendary. ".

Other forum members, tired of his antics, often tried to call him out. "You talk a big game, but I bet you've never even set foot in Thailand," one user challenged. David, playing his part to perfection, would respond with feigned outrage. "How dare you question The Oracle's adventures? You couldn't handle a single night in my shoes!

Despite the barrage of negativity, David thrived on the attention. He meticulously crafted his responses, quoting multiple posters in a single reply to show off his extensive research and deep involvement in the forum. He relished in the chaos he created, the frustration he caused, and the weird, twisted respect he garnered.

In the lively, chaotic streets of Pattaya, there was an old expat named George who had become something of a local legend. George hailed from Liverpool and had lived in Thailand for over twenty years, settling into a small, cluttered apartment in the heart of Pattaya. His days were spent navigating the bustling markets, haggling fiercely over prices, and immersing himself in the vibrant life of the city.

George was notorious for his frugality. He meticulously planned his expenditures, always seeking the best deals and never spending more than necessary. His tightfisted nature extended to every aspect of his life, including his occasional indulgence in the company of ladies of the night. This particular habit was limited to once a month, strictly due to his stringent budget. Each encounter involved lengthy negotiations, with George determined to secure the lowest possible price.

"How much for an hour?" he'the ask, his voice devoid of any charm, focused solely on the transaction.

The quoted price would prompt George to launch into a prolonged bargaining session, often wearing down the patience of the women until they relented. His reputation for haggling was well-known, and many workers sighed at the sight of him, bracing themselves for the inevitable negotiation.

But it wasn't just the local markets and nightlife where George made his mark. Online, he was a force to be reckoned with. Known as "FrugalGeorge67," he was a prolific poster on various expat forums, local news sites, and social media groups. His posts were a mix of sage advice, sharp critiques, and incendiary comments that often sparked heated debates. George had a knack for identifying contentious issues and diving headfirst into the fray, his words fanning the flames of online arguments.

He criticized everything from the local government's policies to the behavior of fellow expats, always with a tone of superiority that grated on many. Yet, despite the frequent backlash, George thrived on the controversy. He seemed to relish the role of provocateur, always ready with a rebuttal and never backing down from a dispute.

His online activities were meticulously scheduled into his daily routine. After his morning haggling at the market, George would settle into his favorite café, nursing a cheap cup of coffee and using the free Wi-Fi to unleash his latest opinions. The café staff knew him well, often rolling their eyes at his loud exclamations and muttered responses to the online exchanges he was so deeply engrossed in.

In the evenings, George would retreat to his apartment, where he would cook a simple meal with the ingredients he had procured at the lowest possible prices. After dinner, he would resume his online battles, his small apartment filled with the glow of his laptop screen and the clatter of his keyboard.

Despite his combative online persona, George had a softer side that emerged in his interactions with newcomers to Pattaya. He organized informal meet-ups for expats, offering guidance on everything from navigating the visa process to finding the best budget-friendly eateries. His extensive knowledge of Pattaya's ins and outs made him a valuable resource, and many appreciated his willingness to help, even if they found his frugality and argumentative nature a bit much to handle.

Life in Pattaya suited George. The city's vibrant energy and diverse community provided endless material for his frugal exploits and online engagements. His frugality, while extreme, was a defining feature of his character, and his presence in the expat community was both irksome and indispensable.

George's story was one of contradictions. A man whose tightfisted ways and argumentative nature often alienated others, yet whose knowledge and willingness to help made him an essential figure in the expat community. In the ever-changing landscape of Pattaya, George remained a constant, a frugal busybody who thrived on controversy and bargain hunting, living life on his terms.

You are absolutely correct. When I enter Thailand the stamp they give me in my passport says VISA and it contains the date of entry and the date my VISA expires. You can also apply for a Tourist Visa which is good for 90 days before you enter the country. You are able to do that online.

In the Ethiopia thread now there is a guy that says he has never been able to get a BJ there while another guy says he has no problem. Then I say that I was getting them without even asking. Hell, the chicks were signaling it in the lineup to get me to choose them. As always YMMV and just because another person is able to do something that you can not, does not mean they are lying.
You are keeping it 100. My experiences in Pattaya lie somewhere between 100% and 0% for BBFS from the prostitutes I higher. Now I can self select and only go with prostitutes that provide BBFS as a service. Then I also would be able to say "100% of all of the prostitutes I hire provide me with BBFS. Of course they do if I do not hire ones that will not provide it. LOL!

What is with the obsession with rejection? When I golf I hit many more bad shots then good ones. But what ones do I remember, the drives that make the fairways. The iron shots that land on the green. And that 12 foot putt, breaking 1 foot the right; nothing but cup. Birdie!

    From https://thaiconsulatela.thaiembassy....al-to-thailand.

"USA Passport Holders are not required to obtain a visa when entering Thailand for tourism purposes and will be permitted to stay in Thailand for a period not exceeding 30 days on each visit or 15-day stays if arriving by land-crossing. ".

What part of you don't need a visa or to get a Visa on arrival to enter is not clear.

I had a massage lady stay with me for 3 days, which is about all I could tolerate. She meant well, but was trying to henpeck me constantly.

She was auditioning to be the girlfriend, and cleaned my condo, which was nice.

Unfortunately, the sex was massage shop style, that's all she knew. I didn't bother to teach her anything new.

There is a provision in immigration law in Thailand where citizens of various countries can receive a Visa on Arrival (VOA). The length of that Visa varies.

Do you have a back up plan in case she does not show up?
