My friend, it has everything to do with skin color when some guy at the door won't let you in solely based on the way your skin is (or requires some payment in advance). That's the very definition of "colorism", and it happens all too often in Thailand where you aren't judged by the contents of your individual character, but by the color of your skin. It's all too common in Thailand.

Colorism! That is a good new word for me I use prejudice, racism, when I get a chance and talk to Thais as to how they are behaving even then they have a tough time accepting their behavior is that.

There is no doubt there are lots of rich Indians living here and it was even before the Thais relax the immigration rules. Like everything here the leaders don't give a rat ass what the people like it is all about the almighty baht.

Example is rich haven't heard much of him after Covid, but the guy that heads the Buka group the guy that lease the entire complex and rumor prior to turn it into another Nana plaza, maybe investing into all the Indian clubs from PinUp on down is what Indian money is doing.

People forget prior to Covid, the big rumor WS water side they were going to move everyone out at one time no clubs were being allow to be built. This is a hobby living here they held a meeting by City Leaders former last 2 mayor concerning the illegal built and purchase of much of the land. This meeting was one not to be missed by the owners legal or illegal, what showed up was the old school rich old men with battery of Thai Lawyers many to my surprise also were old time rich Indians many live down in Chinatown area with shops. There are three homes on the Darkside I believe by design are owned and lived in by Indians, these three are huge larger than any Thai home I've ever seen on the darkside, outside of the main house are maids quarters and grounds that can park 20 plus cars.

The Thais that most here will meet and associate like those at the doors sure they are doing their job as instructed but l see and experience it daily living here and you know what it isn't going to change because not one is going to shut down this racist factory it is being pass on as we speak. As noted prior to Thailand being completely open to Indians it had already started.

Here is a true example experience I was sitting with a number of Thais just drinking they were just low level government people once they found out I was Chinese they were joking mentioned something Chinese do which I guess it was pointed out to him by maybe his parents, or friends it is what I called " Hop Too " this is where a deep breath is taken and the person brings all a load of flame through their nose with one hands grabs that volume of glue and flings it on the floor or splits it out.

I've heard this jokingly a number of times living here but I've also seen a number of Thais do it in the past. Timing, a while later this old guy is pushing a cart down the Soi collecting bottles, he does the same thing while we all are sitting, eating, drinking saw the old guy I being me couldn't help myself blurr out " Hey look a Chinese guy collecting recycle " Everyone knew what I meant jokingly except the guy who mentioned the Chinese thing to me earlier " Loss of face " these are the guys who run the country and will always run the country his views and beliefs will be pass down for another 100 years, so get use to it.

For me, it is nothing but a game prior to Covid, I use to stand outside the walkway of Happy GoGo, then majority of the Freelancer would gather for entertainment I stand there and watch and listen to the conversation the ones who used to stop and gather were the type that gave all Indians the bad name ones that wore the tradition Indian clothing. I once observed and watch the group walk away the girl turn to her friend and said the price he offer was 200 baht, she responded for that price I might as well be a taxi driver?

Today you see more Indian dressed Western but personally if I was Indian you be better off dressing real Western depend on your age, go to Mikes get some knock off Polos, Nike, shirts, shorts, shoes cap, if they stop you, tell them you from Mexico LOL!

While Indians are trying hard to standout, the Chinese particularly HK, Mainland China Triads are pouring money into Thailand using their influence to buy the leaders of this country underground. I have never seen so many Mainland Chinese come to Thailand buying and living here many are so young makes one wonder why? Freedom? I run into them in volume, immigration, banks opening new bank account, many set up shell companies so they can buy homes many even send them to International schools on the Darkside of Pattaya. Bias, while Indians are trying to standout the Chinese are going deeper underground.

You are keeping it one hundred up in here The Cane. You have to been living in a cave to not know that colorism play a HUGE role in Thailand when it comes to preferences and beauty standards. I see it among Thais themselves. Girls often describe themselves by skin color on Thai Friendly. They only would be doing that in order to market themselves correctly to make sure they are not rejected by the many individuals that play into the color bias because of their natural backgrounds developed in the of origins countries they are traveling from.

I even see it being mentioned by posters here Now, everyone is allowed to have their preferences. Simply acknowledge that they have biases. Own it!

The Chocolate Chip Chicks on Beach Road are Uglier than the ones Prowling Nana.

Guess it depends if you like them clean or not. Personally I didn't go to SE Asia for unwashed black girls with fright wigs catering to the lower end crowd.

Been a bit too busy do updates but will summarise.

Every day managed around 2-3 girls. Mostly of TF 1200-1500. Options plenty so no stressing over pricing.

Did a repeat session with the rain girl. Was even better.

The naughty 21 year old I had twice pestered to meet but avoided her. Alot more fresh meat awaited!

One good one. Bar girl from tiger club. Funnily, she had tried her best I take her but I didn't. But she did take my line. Later on got she got in touch and met up for 1000 bht only at130 am after her work. Quite an interesting one with decent english and the sex was good. Again was a ST but she ended up sleeping over. Got another round off her in morning. Seems is new in town. Hates working as a bar girl but needs the money to send home. Clarified she's only getting my $ for sex. No other way I giving money / helping out. Anyway went off after breakfast at my hotel. That next night I asked her to meet up and she had agreed to come after work, around midnight. But then she changed plans and was available from 9 pm, which cut short my post dinner foot tour! Apparently faked being sick and left the bar early. Seems clear she hates her job!! But again another night of great sex for 1000 bht but I tipped her 500 more.

Otherwise all regular except last day. Paid extra for a late check out at 6 pm. As my flight was only at 11 pm and no plans in hanging at the airport. (BKK airport is one of the few with a 100% no smoking) .

I Found a very chinesy (if that's how its spelt) looking gal on Tinder I was swiping on and we matched. Rather short convo and she was free to meet. And even came rather quick because she has her own bike. Had brought her down from 2000 to 1700 but didn't mind paying alil more for last minute and her chinesey look. Was not disapppointed!! Apparently she from Hong Kong (I did believe because her english was almost perfect). But is in pattaya on a work thing! Just needs sex she claims (but at 2000!! Ya right). Long and short. The sex was great (might actually believe her given how into it she was) and got a little dose of chinese pussy. After all the chinese gals I been seeing in the hotel tempting me.

Finished off with her. Went and had a last massage and proper meal. Checked out and long haul back home. Till pattaya 2025 now.

I know Indian guys that can buy and sell Pin Up and XS 100 times over. A lot also has to do with the ladies. The girls in both these places don't want customers from there so if I was Indian, I wouldn't want to go there as well. Disgusting behavior by the bars and ladies. Just because of a few bad eggs, they generalize the whole culture. I would drop it from your list. There are plenty of other options.

Because of the almost total relaxation of visa rules by Thailand and cheap airfare / hotel prices, it is the go-to destination for Indians from Tier Two and lower cities today for whom just going abroad is a lifetime experience. In some cases, it is cheaper than even visiting certain other tourist destinations in India itself. They are another type of tourist who want to spend little and get maximum mileage from the trip. Imagine a couple of these guys ending up at a high-end place just to ogle at the women without wanting to spend money on drinks let alone ladies. I don't blame the staff at these places. Unfortunately they spoil it for those who are able to and willing to spend. I have paid an entrance fee in Crazy Horse in Bangkok to get in. But I give out generous tips for drinks, be polite to everyone, go with the flow and the staff relax around you. IMHO it has little to do with skin color. Except for one or two girls, everyone else have been respectful towards me because of that.

I do agree with this. Tipping the right people a very nominal amount goes a very long way for years. Like my visit to Sensations last month. I haven't been in years but was treated like a king by the bar manager and waitress I knew since 2015. I used to buy them a drink or two many many years ago when money used to flow like gas out of a Hummer.

Why would you try so hard to give your money to an establishment that clearly doesn't want your money? Just cause you get past the door doesn't mean you will be treated well inside!

I'm a curious person. If that was the only way I could see the inside of a place I would do it. Then post a review on how the girls inside treated me. Luckily I'm not Indian or even dark skinned and don't have to do this shite in Thailand. If I were Indian I wouldn't go to Thailand.

Not that I would ever go into a go go bar without buying drinks, but what worked for me in the past was saying hello to this guy and tipping him 100 Baht. That 100 baht and 10 seconds of courtesy has gotten me 14 years of entering without being asked to buy a drink outside. Who do you guys think he is? In 14 years, I have never seen him get up from that chair. The staff all listen to him likes he's the one that pays their salaries. So, who do you think he is?

If I were Indian and really really wanted to get into a top gogo bar on Walking Street, I'd approach a couple of Koreans / Japanese who were walking towards Palace, Pin Up, etc. I'd let them know you will buy them a round of drinks if they tell security you're with them.
