One tourist Hotel Japanese restaurant does not a generalization make. Bangkok is a cheap eats place. Cocktails are cocktails in NY, London, Bangkok and elsewhere.

Not just one but I've been some in other areas not just Sukhumvit & it's standard 4-6,000 baht for an omakase set. Steakhouses, decent European meals are pretty much the same price as HK which is ridiculous given the enormous difference in rent which is one of the main costs of a restaurant.

There are plenty of cute girls for my aesthetic. A top of the line BJ for $28 is a value in any country in the world. And fucking s gogo or massage girl with a pretty face (for me and all the guys I sent pics to) for $85-115 is also a darn good worldwide value.

So those new to the scene please dont be discouraged by the recent posts. There are plenty of us that still love Thailand even if it's not as good as the good old days.

Good summation of your experiences. Yeah, I've done that 3-flight journey from California a few times. I usually take EVA. ONCE, I spent a night in Taiwan (travelling on Northwest in economy). More trouble than it's worth. Considering the cost of a hotel, food, etc. , might be better to splurge on biz class (unless you've already been doing that).

WODR, PP is a boring shithole and a far worse place to monger than BKK.

Prices in Bangkok in general are high.

Take the example of a cocktail, even at a normal bar it's like 350-450 baht plus 10%= USD14-16 and the more trendy ones would be 550-700 baht.

What's ironic is that at these bars an entire meal is only 250-350.

Dining out is also really expensive. I do sometimes like to try the omakase, I had one at the Nikko hotel which was kushikatsu and 5,000 baht. About 6 months I was at Shibuya sky in Tokyo and I realized the exact meal in a nice mall, also omakase was only USD50. So you're talking the Bangkok meal was triple the cost of the one in Tokyo itself and also at a v nice restaurant. Ridiculous.

I just returned from BKK, TF is total waste of time and money. Most good looking girls are looking for big fish / bucks. The average and below average asking 2500.

I will never ever monger in BKK and will straight go to Pattaya, I had much better luck on TF in Pattaya area, since Pattaya is small and girl can be at your door step just in 15- to 30 mints.

The only blow job bar I love is 7 Heaven, I know its expensive but the quality is far better then wood bar, I only see Fugglies.

Finally made it back to Thailand after almost one year. It took three flights and some 40 hours to get here, yikes. It was an arduous journey to say the least. From now on, I plan to stay a night in TOK before continuing the journey to Thailand from the US of A.

-Walked around many of the monger areas and mostly the women are older and average looking at best.

-Mostly used the services of MPs in the Phrom Phong area. Experiences were standard and good overall, but again, the women were average..

-Is Thailand falling off when it comes to mongering? Overpriced pay for play for average older women. I spent my week mostly doing sight seeing and eating good food around BKk. Only sessioned a few times. Currently in Pattaya, hopefully it's better value than BKK.

Pretty spot on assessment of things nowadays. Well there are some gyms in the oilies, performance and looks normally take different directions when compared to each other. FiwFans is still quite good but you have to have the patience to do the research. Other than that, nah, not much interesting, and not good value for money.

BTW, the two massage shops at the being of the Soi, close to each others, Kinaree I think one of them is named, seem to consistently have the best looking women, bar the one or two hidden gems you can find further down in some random shop, but the one or two times I've gone there, the massage was sub-par, and I did not get any BJ. I no longer remember if they insisted on 2,000, or what the problem was, but the experience turned me off to them and I've not been back. Perhaps time to make another visit I think to see if things have improved during the last one or two years I guess. My experience is however that the nearer the start of the soi, the more tourists they get, and this affects both their attitude and price, both for regular massage and extras.

Well, today I did visit Kinaree, or what it's called, since I had made myself a bit curious. I'm guessing some discreet FS may also be possible here if there are not many other customers and you do not repulse the woman too much.

Could not agree more. With the exception of FF and a few oilies P4 P in LOS is expensive. Hard to swallow paying in excess of 100 USD for what one used to pay 12-25 USD for. Post covid prices went sky high.

I was paying 2500 before Covid and that's what I pay now, with exceptions of course.
