Manizales is a great tourist city. Quite compact and surrounded by nature. Having been all over Colombia, this city definitely is the safest I have ever felt. So if you value safety and / or nature, this is the city for you! The weather is also spectacular IMO. Usually cloudy and between 65-70 degrees.

For mongering, it will fall short of the larger cities in terms of quality and quantity. There's a bar downtown called Oasys Taberna that has girls. You won't find anything particularly attractive there.

Spent some days in Riohacha. Nice enough beach town, decent hotel standard and price, with restaurants and drinking places on the beach evenings.
