The first leg I flew in PE. It seemed very similar to Economy, but I was able to sleep 7 hours of the 13 hour flight.

The second leg was only 4 hours, and I was in Economy, but in an Exit row. For a short flight, it was okay.

I've flown both economy and premium economy on 3 different airlines (Delta, Cathay Pacific, and Lufthansa). The economy and premium economy services are about the same, but the seats are definitely different (wider, more pitch, more recline). I'm tall and the PE passenger in front of me can recline fully without causing me any problem at all. IMHO, PE is much better than economy, but don't expect it to be even close to business class, those are different worlds.

At the stop in TPE, there was no security check. So, nobody cares about the 40 lithium batteries I was carrying, or my Bluetooth speaker which uses lithium batteries.

NY to Frankfurt to BKK is even better if you are on the East coast.

Illegal or forbidden, I'm lucky near death I still can't grow a decent mustache I carry a cheap throw away razor LOL.

But in the USA Eva, they ask you if you have them in your check in I not know the answer as to know what would happen if I say Yes, so it isn't just carry on.

Leaving because of language Thailand they have counter mats near the weigh in indicating what is allowed.

Thought I'd share what happened to me a couple of months ago as I switched planes in Taipei en route to BKK. I know many on here take EVA through Taipei so just a PSA for some of you.

Got off EVA plane. As I entered the "quick" security to get on to another EVA plane I noticed a big sign. The sign had a drawing of a electric shaver and a fan with a line through them indicating that electric shavers and fans are not allowed through. I knew I had a small fan on me but I left it in my backpack not knowing at the time why I can't carry an electric fan. My bag is pulled to the side where I'm called over to watch them dig out my fan. The dick security person says "you know it's illegal to bring a fan in to Taiwan" (pretty sure it's not illegal it's just his bad English). I said no. He then pointed to the huge sign and rudely says "didn't you see the sign? I said I'm tired from my flight so no. He tells me I am trying to carry a lithium battery on a flight and I can go to jail for that. I hadn't even considered my tiny hand held fan even had a lithium battery! He then went on to say with huge attitude they are professionals and I am dumb to think I can sneak a lithium battery on to a flight. This fan has been with me over 20 years and possibly went through that same check point 20 times! I guess those carrying electric shavers will run into the same issue from these "professionals".

Again, only a PSA for those who may pack an electric shaver or fan on their carry on bags going through the Taipei check point. Guess we're to pack them in checked baggage?

Just got back from Thailand and flew EVA air through Taipei. Going through Taipei was no problem because they did not make transfers go through security. Coming back I did have to go through security and the sign BB described is still there. Thanks to his warning I had purchased a Norelco electric shaver that runs on AA batteries. So I had no problems with security. The shaver worked well and went three weeks on a single set of batteries. Thanks BB.

That being said, the ringing to the bell with a line up may work for those with no personality or backbone, but for me I don't like to be manipulated. It has been argued that well, the bar owners need to make money duh? Yes, they do. But whatever happened to the idea of customer service? Or making your product or service appeal to the customer? No, those mother fuckers are saying we own the majority of the bars, we are going to exercise our monopoly power. Fuck you! Pay me! Soi 6 good for me; occasional visit; all the time? No. Prefer gentleman's clubs. But, spread out, older girls, slower pace. Your time, your money, your dick, your call!

I prefer to choose girls who choose me. When I am in a venue and a girl approaches me, it may just be business but she is at least showing she is on the hustle. There are bars I can walk into on Soi 6 where no girl will approach me. Ironically it seems to be the bars my boys like the most. I understand that. The girls are smoking hot and they are all over them. I am cool with it. I go get a drink at the bar and chill with them. If no girl comes up, no need to buy a Lady Drink.

Now don't get it twisted, I have no problem buying lady drinks even if only results in a little touch and feel action. It's entertainment. My money comes fast so that is how I spend it. But I am the director of this mother fucking movie. So it plays out my way.

My next plan for nightfuck group will be just to dismiss the group with a "no thanks I'll let you know. " Then pick my own after chilling for 15 or so minutes.

New apple account for use in Thailand. Do it on the website and not on a mobile phone. Choose no payment method. After the new apple account is created, use a cheap iPhone for this line using your Thai SIM card you will get after you arrive. If you don't have another iPhone, buy a cheap android phone for 1000 Baht in Thailand and use that for line with a google account you make for Thailand. There it is!

Here is an option: toss that Iphone and get an android.

I appreciate you trying to help, but signups works different outside of Asia. You can only sign up for new accounts via phone number in HK, Japan, Korea, and Thailand, but not in the US. They changed that last year. Maybe I'll be able to make a new one easily when I arrive in BKK, but your process doesn't work here. Cheers.

If you are in Economy, and the guy in front of you leans back, you're in worse shape.

And some Premium Economy seats are better than others. EVA is kind of the pioneer in PE, and one of the best.

My plan is to take the flight at 12:15 AM from LAX, sleep until Taipei in the early AM, and then arrive in BKK mid morning, hopefully with minimal jet lag.

I hit Pattaya early afternoon, have time for a nap, hit 7/11 at 5 pm, stock up, and I have a lady lined up for a visit. I have had ladies asking for appointments for the first five days, so I am set.

I have used Eva for close to 20 years out of SFO, great airline schedule is similar to LAX.

Use to upgrade to Premium or purchsse in the beginning it wss just a few hundred more today easily a thousand.

Depending on your size me 5'7 I don't have a problem even when seat is drop back in front. Whenever I buy I also pick and select my seat if you do use Eva, the beginning of economy the first few rolls there is suppose to be more leg room reason if you pick seats the charge is higher but by naked eye I can't see the difference to pay the extra.

Prior to covid I was offered upgrade to Pre I decline the seats padding legs push against the back area of my legs that made it very uncomfortable then the head phones press against my ears giving me headache.

Last few trips home I've booked their afternoon flight gets me in a 11 pm, by 1 am I'm checked in to a hotel in Nana Area and out and about.

2022, July when Thailand open I got a great price on Phillippine 25,000 baht never again! Crazy security check going to USA.

2023, I booked on Japan I had thought they ended service to SFO years ago but Eva had just started up and their prices were out of whack. On Expedia 31,000 baht with seats and notice premium was much cheaper their schedule to SFO was very close to Eva. Though service eas very good.

In my opinion based on a close friend at the airport who got laid off after 9/11 got a job with custom their job at the airport application of your rights are different thaan a border patrol agent down at the border for example San Diego, Ca.

Wrong. I have 2 iPhones and one iPad. Each device uses the same Apple ID but each device has a different line account. Each with its own number. Step 1 delete the line App and download it again. Step 2, create new account with your phone number that you still use and can get an SMS on. Step 3 fill in the info. Your problem is you want to get access to your old line and you can't. But you can use any phone number to create a new line. Understand? It's not rocket science mate. I said create a new line account. Forget about your old one and forget about transferring. Its so easy. JUST CREATE A NEW ACCOUNT. Look at the screen shots from my iPhone. You just create new account. If you do this even though you already have one with the same number, it will delete the old account automatically and create a new one with the same number. The new account creation only asks for phone number and not Apple ID. Apple ID is only used to download the app. No need to register email with line unless you want to. Guess what, if you register email then you can access the old line in problems like yours, but dont care about that now. Just create new line account. Follow my screenshots.
