Not sure where you are getting your numbers from. Business is never less than economy. Actually a direct flight from Newark only has business and premium economy.

I just went on app and a round trip premium economy flight in April is only $1430.00 with only grades being bulkhead or solo seat. Business class was $3370.00.

Might want to double check as prem economy is a bargain for this trip. That 2 k you will be saving can be your play fund.

Singapore Air is great. I used to fly them in business class all the time. My last few trips have been with Japan Airlines in business class (using AA miles). They are good also. I've seen ads on Facebook for companies that sell business class seats at greatly reduced prices. You might want to look into that but be careful before handing over your $$ If anybody here knows a company that sells reduced price business seats I'm sure we would like to hear about it.
