I was in Hanoi in Feb. As reported, Gaito has a lot fewer girls in Hanoi than in Saigon, with far more baits and switches. Hanoi is not good to chase girls.

ATM which don't have any fees is VPbank and TPbank and allowed to take out 5 million in one go.

Tinder is waste of time and full of scamming girls who want meet you at old quarter and waste your money on expensive drinks and food and get commision from the clubs. I read about it before so I was prepared for it and if the girl want meet straight away or same day and at old quarter is defenitely scam. I have not been to Vietnam but had the exact same question as you so nicely articulated. I combined tourism with mongering. I've been to Thailand 5 times, Cambodia, Philippines, Bali, Brazil, Germany. I can honestly say no country beats Thailand for the combination of tourism / vacation and girls. In fact it's not even close. I'm planning to go back in March and was thinking about combining it with Vietnam or Japan since I haven't been to either. But as I read posts of mongering in both those countries the more I conclude it would be a big disappointment on the girl side. It's a shame as the tourism in Hanoi and Tokyo would be interesting. For you I highly recommend Thailand. I went to HCMC in 2022 and had a great time, both mongering and sight seeing. I found the people friendly, with exception of taxi drivers, which is normal everywhere. I had supermodel looking girl in a FS massage parlor for 3 million, and a couple trips to the FS "barber shops" with okay looking girls, don't remember the price.
