Posts: 129So in the end, you still have no reading comprehension since I have said repeatedly predatory is bad, but not illegal. You still don't understand the basic assertion that ascribing conspiracy to natural greed does no favors to actually resolving the situation. If the problem is price-fixing, then you remedy that with criminal remediation (cops, investigation, etc.). If the answer is extreme pricing, you can often resolve it through legal controls (price ceilings, regulations) or consumer action (not buying at those locations, lobbying politicians to take legal action). It's simple stuff that requires you to think further than "hero / daddy will make the bad guys go away". Political ad-homs aside, since you literally ignored the point I made to pearl clutch like a soy cuck (extreme lefties and righties love to cry), this goes beyond left / right divides towards actual populist action.

Clearly, you finally started to understand you were talking out of your ass and had to back down. Next time, I recommend avoiding the weird shadow boxing with an imaginary democrat operative tangent that you went down.

As a frequent traveler for both work and leisure, I've become pretty good at navigating many of the frustrations people tend to have at airports.
I check in online and travel with carry-on bags only wherever possible to avoid lines at check-in. I always have my liquids already packaged in a clear bag so I can zip through security.
One thing that still surprises me, however, is the quality and cost of food available in airports. I navigate this particular frustration by doing my best to avoid airport food outlets entirely.
There's a scene from the iconic 1990's sitcom "Seinfeld" where Jerry Seinfeld discusses the cost of food in airports during a stand-up set which still makes me chuckle to this day for its accuracy.
Do you think that the people at the airport that run the stores have any idea what the prices are everyplace else in the world, or do you think they just feel they have their own little country out there and they can charge anything they want? "You hungry? Tuna sandwich is $9. Tuna is very rare here. ".
I think the whole airport / airline complex is a huge scam just to sell the tuna sandwiches. I think that profit is what's supporting the whole air travel industry. I mean, think about it. The terminals, the airplanes. It's all just a distraction so that you don't notice the beating that you're taking on the tuna.
Adjusted for inflation, that $9 in 1990 would now be $19. Every time I think of the outrageous prices of food and drinks in airport terminals, I always grin, remembering how ridiculous the prices were in the early 1990's and how they have remained so.

My own memories are of being asked to pay $10 for a bottle of water at Punta Cana International Airport (PUJ) in the Dominican Republic earlier this year (I gasped, handed it back and walked out). Also, I once paid $17.50 at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL) for a terrible, pre-made chicken wrap that was so "un-fresh" the edges of the wrap had gone soggy and mushy.
Jerry Seinfeld and I aren't the only ones who have noticed. Early this year, a $27 beer led the agency that oversees the three major New York City-area airports to crack down on sky-high prices being charged for food and drinks.
An investigation by the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, which has oversight over John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK), LaGuardia Airport (LGA) and Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR), found multiple instances of beer and food being sold to travelers in these airports at "totally indefensible" prices.

So why aren't you emailing the author of this article to troll him and explain to him how he is wrong?
Why don't you call the port authority of New York and New Jersey and tell them to drop their investigation because it is legal??
How about your jealous douchebag ass just gets off my dick?
You're just jealous because I have more real life mongering experience than. You, having mongered in USA, Mexico, Colombia, Thailand, Philippines, and Indonesia. I have now mongered on 3 different continents and many different islands.
So what is the real reason that you've had a hard on for me for months? Because I've seen you bring up my handle even before this airport nonsense.

You can sugarcoat it all you want and say it isn't a scam, it's just predatory but in reality a ripoff and a scam are the same thing.
I doubt you have an MBA, you claim you do but you haven't shown any proof to back it up. Also your liberal douchebag ideals would suggest the contrary. You probably have a degree in liberal arts or music LOL.
Also the 13 soldiers whom you mentioned were not civilian women and children, they were not innocent bystanders killed by an illegal immigrant who shouldn't have been in the country in the first place, but was allowed in by Biden. They were soldiers in the line of duty and they signed up to be fighting and unfortunately lost their lives. There is a big difference between joining the armed forces and getting killed and being a 12 year old girl and getting raped and and killed by an caught and released illegal immigrant. Shame on you for even comparing the two.
Also back to the point at hand you admit the airport is a rip off but you say it's not a scam? You say it is predatory but yet it perfectly fine. Well I say it's a scam, we will just have to agree to disagree but I'm sure you will respond back with some more bickering and name calling. I'll be the bigger man and say let's just agree to disagree.
Respectfully,
Gabacho.

Posts: 129Buddy, you clearly don't understand anything I'm saying for some reason, though I imagine the Trump spunk has made you drunk. I keep telling you the difference between predatory pricing (legal, public, and unsavory) and price-fixing (illegal, collusion). One of those (predatory selling) is completely fine under capitalism unless you advocate for socialist policy like price controls (e. G. The capping of insulin prices to $35). The other is illegal because it has been deemed to be anti-capitalist and unfair to an absolute degree. There is a fine line between the two and it often comes down to how "public" and "justified" the pricing model is and the "freedom" of the consumer to find alternatives. In your studies, you'll learn that airports are not a case of price fixing (the airlines offer a much better example when it comes to fuel surcharges) but rather in the market equilibrium that forms in a unique economic environment (richer people in airports than the surrounding area, security cost increases, consumer values shift, etc.). Consumers are given alternatives like free water fountains and shitty vending machines and low-cost dining like McDs are also available within the confines of the airport. You'll eventually learn this when you finish your intro courses, I guess. You can probably skip your upcoming Econ 201 class since I gave you the gist of it ;p.

But if you can't understand why they charge $4 dollars for a bag of chips when 90% of their customers are paying $100+ for tickets without resorting to conspiracies about price fixing, you clearly don't understand the basics of business and economics.
As always with the chuds, I mildly criticize Trump for stuff he did while already failed to do as president and these guys go absolutely ape shit. Congrats on knowing two people who died and ignoring the thousands of others who die due to presidential actions. What about the 13 soldiers that died under Biden during the Afghanistan pullout (that Trump organized with the Taliban)? What about Jamal Khashoggi who got murdered by MBS in Saudia Arabia that Trump did nothing about? What about the hundreds of people / kids who died in school shootings under Trump? Shut the fuck up about politics, since it's only the Trump nuthuggers who always bring up how he's going to save everything on a god-damn mongering forum as if we don't know who he is and what party he stands with. Better yet, stop crying about it, deflecting to something else (what does Laken Riley and illegal immigration have to do with price fixing, smart guy), when you get called out. As I said, I don't care about Dems or Reps, I just call BS when I see it.

Posts: 2125You supposedly have an MBA but yet you resort to name calling like a child. Also you admit that the places selling bottled water inside the airport for $8 for a 600 ML bottle are a ripoff but it is not price fixing?

You mention price caps as a solution at the PDX airport? That worked out quite well in Venezuela in case you didn't know.
And you talk all this shit about Trump and quick to call me a Maga when you don't even know annything about me, but you know what you can't dispute?
You can't dispute that Jocelyn Nungaray and Laken Riley are dead as a direct result of Biden's policies. That is the undeniable truth. Biden's policies of catch and release are the reason why those two girls were killed and the reason why their mothers have to live the remainder of their lives without their daughters, without seeing them grow up and get married, and without their grandchildren being born. Yet you blindly and arrogantly support Biden and by extension Harris?
You really are a fool.

Posts: 129Congrats, but degree jerking is a joke for low-IQ individual. But if you want to compare, and since I have an MBA, you need to pipe down. Still, good luck with that since education is always important. Price fixing is illegal and many airports actually have restrictions on how much vendors can charge. Here is a layman's description of pricing at airports https://www.theparkingspot.com/trave.../airport-food..

No evidence, just conjecture. You still don't understand the basic point of audience capture and what price-fixing (collusion). I. e. What is illegal versus what is predatory. They are not allowing products to be sold at a fair market value. And they are all charging an inflated price so that you have to pay more. You cannot reasonably expect someone to leave the airport checkpoint to go buy food or drink at an outside location then come back to the airport and go back thru the security checkpoint again, they would miss their flight.
Yes dumbass, price fixing is illegal and a scam. Too bad, you didn't prove price fixing. Google reviews are conjecture, smart guy. I would have hoped your bachelor's studies would have taught you a little about critical thinking.I've posted the screenshot from Google explaining how price fixing is a scam. You didn't post anything to back up what you said.
Sorry, I couldn't understand you while you guzzle establishment, oligarchy cum. If you think I give a damn about libs or conservatives, you clearly don't get it, but I've come to expect that from the MAGA cult morons. But don't worry, I won't waste time since you're already popping a gasket because I dared to criticize daddy Trump. Drink away, fella. (If you want to get pedantic, it's actually the liberal areas and airports like PDX. Portland, that are most likely to institute price hike controls, but that doesn't fit your narrative. You'll learn this when you get out of Econ 101 or whatever you're enrolled in now).If anyone is taking loads it is you, bending over and taking them raw from Joe Biden and the liberal woke media.
Oh wow, I didn't understand your game. You might actually be mentally challenged. If you don't understand the difference between the customer profiles of domestic travels versus international travelers, especially in small countries like Colombia, you are clearly lost. Domestic travelers are less likely to make use of airport amenities because they are using short haul trips. E. g. If you are driving 2 hours, you are less likely to stop to get some snacks or a bathroom break compared to a 10 hour drive. It's also why the domestic terminals are "generally" more barebones, especially in smaller airports, in terms of amenities. I. e. Less restaurants, lounges, etc. They know that many travelers are arriving just in time for quick travel and are not as likely to be gearing up with a pre-flight meal or in need of a relaxing drink. The point you made actually kinda proves my point since it highlights that the supposed price-fixing of airports is not being used on domestic travelers for some random reason (you can't explain it if it's a scam), but it makes perfect sense when you realize that security is the main point for the restriction. And also the airports in Colombia do allow you to bring in outside food and drink (in large containers) thru their security checkpoints as long as it's a domestic flight. I bet you didn't even know that, did you? I even have brought an open bottle of tequila with me onto a flight to Cucuta one time. And I'm pretty sure I have more experience in Colombia the you ever will, buddy. You can now add Thailand, Philippines, and Indonesia to that list too.
SubCmdr and I disagree on costs for girls, but that has nothing to do with actual economic data and law. If we disagree, that's about taste and preference, not on made up price fixing scams at airports or MAGA nuthuggers getting mad that I criticize a corrupt, billionaire asshat for being corrupt. I don't know the guy's actual business background and I would never make a judgement on his ability, unlike you who jumped to a million conclusions, especially when I mildly criticized your daddy. Now go crawl back under your rock before I get SubCmdr to come rip you a new one.

Posts: 4832JB, just to be clear, the women I were talking about were not being treated by a doctor and were not tranny women who wished to be men. They were doing it for the LOLs. I should have asked them if the sex was better with the test or if all it did was make them more horny.

Posts: 2125Yea but all the Venezuelans that Joe Biden let pour into the country are undercutting all the prices you mentioned. A vennie I fucked for $25 in Medellin is now in Charlotte, North Carolina and contacted me thru WhatsApp offering me BBFS for $60. They also have a ton of them in the Miami area I think charging between $100-300 usd. And in New York city they have set up an outdoor brothel there called market of sweethearts charging similar prices. So your whole argument doesn't hold water.

Posts: 85Consider that the new big category of school shootings is former attendees of the school returning to shoot up teachers and students after becoming 'transmen" (female with testosterone injections). I doubt these individuals would feel less rejected after being rejected offering money for sex to a female crack working girl.

Enough women, especially young women, but all ages these days, are sluts for Chad / Tyrone. Those of us who aren't a Chad / Tyrone have no interest in the available talent at the price points available Stateside. Nevada hookers run $5,000 for PIV with condom. Last time I received a price quote in Columbus, rate was $7 from a crack working girl, that being the going rate for one rock of crack. Clean woman was $200 and up (1998) and condom required, so roughly $2,500 today, and age 35-45 vs. 25-30 in 1998. If prostitution were legalized, you would see legals charging Nevada prices, while black market (there's always a black market) would be, $2,500 (non-Nevada) prices, with New York at Nevada prices, and Atlanta prices at crack working girl rates for crack working girls.

Posts: 4832A woman I know got a bottle of testosterone. She shot up a dose and gave some to her friend. Thing is injectable testosterone peaks a few days after you take it, and she did not feel it. For four days, she told me she thought men and their testosterone driven sex drive was bullshit. Then on day 5, it kicked in. She would not tell me how many threesomes she and her friend had but she did say of that 48 hour period she was in the grips of testosterone fever, she spent much of her day fucking and sucking. After that, the shot wore off.

So yeah, if you tell a guy getting laid about being a suicide bomber and dying and getting 72 virgins in heaven, he is going to laugh in your face. Find a young male virgin in the throws of adolescent testosterone levels and ask him the same question, and he may agree because he is living a sexual hell.
