From my experience last night, I think this is very accurate. I went to Soi 6 around 7:30 pm. It was packed with girls and not many guys. Most of the bars were empty and girls were very aggressive trying to get you to stop. I asked a few of them how much and they all said 2000. I countered with 1500 and they said yes but wanted me to sit down for a drink with them. I didn't ask their ages but I would assume they are 18-25 ish. Probably something on the strip to everyone's preference. I didn't take any of them because I usually try to avoid bar fines unless there is something I have to try that not. There are too many equivalent options outside of the bar scene for me to seal the deal. Well at least that has been the case so far.

If you are going to judge the attractiveness of a prostitute by how much they charge, why don't individuals who have something to say about 1000 - 1200* price range simply only hire prostitutes that are charging 2000 and up. Using the logic of some posters up in here means the OP who paid 3000 to hire his prostitute had a very attractive one. Using that logic there is absolutely no upwards limit one should be willing to pay if your goal is the hire the most attractive prostitutes available.

If you are worried about overpaying for bar girls, don't come to Pattaya during High Season.

If you come in Low Season, starting May 1, you will find many ladies willing to go ST for small money.

Well they can "ask" for anything. Not at all "at best". I was on the 6 2 nights ago. All of those chicks were telling me 2000 when I asked how much for boom boom. When I told them bullshit 1000, all (except 1) started giggling. The outlier chick stomped off and the others were like let's go.

She told me short time price was 2000, so the total damage was only 2800. I had forgotten to bring a cover, so she stepped out and got one for me for free.

All in all, I had a better experience at Soi 6, and much better than I had expected. I got to see hundreds of girls in 15 minutes, under daylight, and picked an 18 yo stunner for under 3 k all-in, including drinks and Connect 4.

One other option I found on my last trip was to use doxycycline. It's used to prevent most STDs, but not HIV. You take 1 pill after the deed. Most street pharmacies sell it by the pill or by packs. I think 5 cost me 200 baht. Twice when a girl asked for condom I showed her the doxy and told her what it was and both agreed BBFS. One even asked for a pill for herself!

However, as SubCommander says, if the girl asks for cover anyway, I always obey. Make the girl happy and she'll make you happy.

I do not ask ages, but I do know they are supposed to be 20 to be working there.

They are also all supposed to be Thai nationals, while we all know there are Lao and Cambodian girls working there.

The same goes for the age, they say nobody under 20 is allowed to enter the place, but many girls are talking the truth, and are indeed 18.

These are one of a kind, in my experience they are the most inflexible girls in the soi. It's always take it or leave with these girls.
