The birth rate in Thailand has been dropping, so there are fewer young ladies available.

Plus, not so many Thai girls in the village produce 2 or 3 kids by age 20, so their Thai man is less likely to flee until they are much older. As long as their Thai man sticks with them, they stay in the village. A big percent of new arrivals in Soi 6 used to be abandoned wives who had no prospects in the village and nothing to lose. Those days are mostly over.

The other side of the coin are married ladies in the village who hear about ladies making big money off drinks. They can bring their Thai husbands to Pattaya, work Soi 6, and go home to hubby every night, as LT is now rare on Soi 6.

I can't believe that you just advised one guy to walk along Soi six trying to proposition the bar girls to do a short time without even buying one drink. If the guy goes and tries to do that I'm sure he will find out very quickly that he won't be welcome in most if not all of those bars. My suggestion for someone like this would be to look on Thai friendly for girls as freelancers and guess what? TThey will find out very quickly that many soi six girls are already on the APP, looking for customers after hours or when they're not working.

When Soi 6 was still worth it, roughly for 3 years between 2017 and 2022, I visited Soi 6 five times a week for an afternoon fuck. Hardly ever paid any girl a drink. Bars got the money I paid for the short time room and girls got the standard price, usually 1000 back then.

I agree, but for some reason I keep going to this place. A long narrow rectangle with no personality. It is like walking into an overcrowded match box. They should at least use one of the doors in the middle of the long side, instead of the one on the short side.

I can't believe that you are on with this we must support the bar owner shit again. What are you talking about? These are fuck places. Are you saying that it is permitted to go in and buy drinks without fucking, but not permitted to go in and fuck without buying drinks? If so, then that is preposterous. The same way that you can walk in to McDonald's and buy a Big Mac, without a drink, you can walk in to a bar with rooms or gentlemen's club and fuck without buying a drink. They are hoarhouses and the drinks are optional.

The rooms are already there and a sunk cost included in the rent of the bar. If you go pay 400 baht to use a room to fuck a chick that is 400 baht the bar owner gets. If you go buy a drink for 80 baht that the owner paid 30 baht for, then that is only 50 baht for the owner. Anybody with a brain can see they would make more money renting 1 room for 1 hour than selling 1, 2, or 3 drinks in 1 hour. They would need to sell 8 drinks to a person in 1 hour to equal what they would getting from renting the 1 person a room for 1 hour. I do not know about you, but I sure as hell am not drinking 8 drinks.

I know you are EverythingThai, but try using some western math or business sense for a change. You are sounding like our barbecue guy that moved off Buakhao where he had 1000 customers to Sukhumvit where he had 2 customers because he could pay cheaper rent. Funniest thing ever was when I gave that guy a 1000 baht bill and he had to go find change. The next time I went into the restaurant he did not want to serve me because he was afraid I would give him a 1000 baht bill again. I had to ensure him that I had small bills before he would take my order. Imagine not wanting to serve a customer because you are afraid they actually have money to pay. Amazing Thailand.

Haven't seen it done since though.

Just to illustrate how Soi 6 has changed, before COVID I bought a couple of drinks for a bar girl. Upon ordering a 3rd drink, she asked me if we were going to the room. When I said no, she excused herself to go find a better customer.

A quick update from me:

Indian clubs:

I went back into Jannet last night because I find these Indian clubs fascinating compared to the other discos. I've taken 2 different thai WGs from there but I wasn't impressed with either one as their body was middle aged and service was lacking, one of them said they like indians because "they don't want long sex. " In the front of Jannat are several Uzbekistans, not Russians. One wanted 8000ST and everything condom so I declined. I plan to check out Jannate one more time and that will be it for me: too many middle aged, lip fillers, heavy makeup, single mothers, push up bras, that only want crazy prices with bad rushed service. But the music and atmosphere are awesome.

Boss Club:

Indian club, I don't care for it. I went in and wasn't impressed. Crowded as usual with various freelancers with heavy makeup, middle aged face, and push up bras.

WS Discos:

I went into 808 then later ibar / Insomnia, plenty of freelancers but could not find anything I wanted.

Soi 6:

Fun to be grabbed on and plenty of lookers but just not my thing. I'll try it again but usually avoid it.

WS go-go:

I went in XS and didn't like anyone I wanted. Palace continues to be my one and only favorite which is a far cry from back in the day when Sapphire, Sensations, Whats up, and various other WS go-go had amazing line ups and talent. I'll give pinup a chance again but didn't like anyone I saw.

Beach road:

Not a fan but there is a group of very fair skinned asians I've seen, I assume they're lady boys but may check it out later.

LK Metro:

Have not been in a really long time but will go again soon.

Beer bars:

Have not tried it due to constrained time. But plenty of hidden gems can be found here.

Thaifriendly/Tinder/Bumble:
Never tried TF but heard good things about it. Im using tinder and bumble but haven’t seen anything too interesting so far.

Method:

Ideally my daily method is to hit up the WS go-gos first for 1 or 2 STs, then I move on to the discos to find freelancers for ST. The right freelancer will give you far better service and pricing than the most beautiful bar girl. But for me, the right freelancer is not easy to find because many of them are unattractive. I have a list of freelancers I've met on previous trips but sadly many of them just disappear.

Observations:

I was wrong about Indians in Thailand. There are "Indian-Thais" (Indian but 2nd and 3rd generational thai) who own many of these WS clubs and are loaded, plus the Indians in these Indian clubs. I didn't fully grasp the diversity of the Indian population in Pattaya but now I better understand it.

I met up with a guy from the Pattaya site and was having a conversation with and we both came to the same conclusion. Pattaya maybe crowded and it maybe high season but those people aren't necessarily mongers. I've been in many bars gogos clubs and it's about the same amount of people in these places as there was in months past.

They are not coming in droves like they did before Covid. Many bars still doing live streams and they are making money. Desire on Soi 6 is selling plenty of drinks online right now as an example. Weekends will be busy on walking street but sadly it won't be the same ever again.

Counter with 1000. Tell them no drink, only boom boom. I do not know if you would count the room fee as a bar fine, because if you go to a short time motel then you would pay the same 300 or 400 for the room. I also do not pay bar fines for taking chicks out either, but I am okay with the room fee if I am fucking them on site. Besides, some chicks are going to ask for motorbike taxi money if they do not have transpo and come to your place.

I was out showing my buddy around and he was doing some shopping. I found it different how he negotiated. He would only say give me a better price instead of naming the price he was willing to pay. For me, if someone tells me 2000. I say 1000. They may say 1500, but I stay on 1000 or maybe even lower my offer to 800.

I have been twice. I went the first time for scuba diving. The only reason I went the second time is because some buddies were in town and wanted me to go down there with them. People just have to go to say they have been there. Then they realize they could have skipped it. I recommend Koh Samui to my non-monger and couple tourist friends.

Agreed. Its good to visit to mark it off the checklist and for non-monger and family friendly things to do. I still need to try Koh Samui, Chang Mai, and a few others that I've heard many good things about it.

These highly successful Festival s Pattaya have all the time are great. In bringing in Thais.
