This is the Pattya Reports threads I write this based on my experiences after being posted up in Pattaya for the last 18 months. Actually who first wrote:

Gentleman, a prostitute is not a thing, a slave, a product. A prostitute is a live human being with feeling just like you. They are independent business women or independent contractors providing social / sexual service for an agreed upon price.
The prices at which these providers of social / sexual services choose to provided those social / sexual services vary by both appearance (yours) and personal need. Catch a girl that needs 500 THB right now and she will go with you if you offer her 500 THB.
But if a girl in an establishment where 2000 THB is the standard fee for social / sexual services then that is the fee she will quote you and accept. Has anyone gone into Heaven Above and gotten BBBJ, Boom Boom and CIM finish for less than 2000 THB?
Lastly the types of services vary with the individual girl that is providing the social / sexual services:
I am in Pattaya right now and my experiences are exactly the same as Mogwai and for the cost of 1200 THB - 2000 THB for short time.

Posts: 113The UN has some pretty good attorneys. Sex work in Thailand IS criminalized. That's what the Prevention and Suppression of Prostitution Act does. You can't prostitute yourself in a prostitution establishment, etc. No one is saying it's not criminalized.

Some people here would argue that because of all those illegalities, driving must be illegal. It's not, and neither is prostitution in general. There is nothing in Thai law that says that having sex with another person who is 18 or older in exchange for something of value, I. E. , prostitution, is illegal. How it's done, where it's done, etc are criminalized to some extent. But not the act itself.
Decriminalizing prostitution takes away most of the exceptions written into the law now. That in turn helps protect the WGs. It wouldn't legalize prostitution, because it's already legal.

Correct. Having sex with a minor, busted with drugs involved, or sex in an illegal set up (ie upstairs private rooms in gogo bars circa 2016) are the usual stories you hear about guys being charged.

I still haven't seen news reports of Thai women being arrested for prostitution. Nor have I seen reports of foreigners being arrested for hiring prostitutes. Every arrest report has other factors involved. The 60 frog marchers seem to have had their IDs recorded but not arrested. Am I the only one who noticed that video was from 11th July 2018?
What did I miss?

Boom Boom, BBBJCIM, she is 26. She puts her own music on her phone on when she comes over. I actually have her send me her favorite YouTube sound tracks to me. She likes 808. She like the music I like.

Posts: 18757I guess someone forgot to tell the UN that prostitution in Thailand is not illegal. Shame they would go through all this trouble and spend all this money. Maybe they should have done their research before taking up the cause.
"UN urges Thailand to decriminalize sex work for healthcare access. The United Nations (UN) has recommended that Thailand should decriminalize sex work to ensure equal access to healthcare services and integrate victim support. This announcement was made during a press conference at the Renaissance Bangkok Ratchaprasong Hotel, where the Working Group on Discrimination Against Women and Girls discussed the state of women's and girls' rights in."

Does the law list every profession or act that is legal? No, it is illegal activities that are stated in laws. Murder is easy to find without any qualifiers required. So why isn't prostitution?

Similar to how in the Netherlands there is a tolerance to certain soft drugs. The Netherlands is known for this, yet the law (article 2 of the opiumlaw) specifically states that those drugs are illegal. Regardless of enforcement, there needs to be a law for something to be illegal. You can keep dancing around the topic, but unless there's even a single law stating prostitution itself (so not the side activities) is illegal, you have no argument.
This just comes across as illiterate and sad at this point. There's no legal text supporting you and certainly no policy either.

Posts: 6574There are four types of girls. There is the one who turns away her head with a look of disgust on her face, then there's the one who has a stoic expression on her face, then there's the girl who smiles at you and finally there's the girl who winks at you. If ever a girl in a lineup winks at you go with her without hesitation, you will be in for the time of your life.

Posts: 1107No Thais involved according to reports
This was more of an immigration issue than a prostitution issue, but full credit for a two for one deal. According the reports I saw there were NO Thai ladies arrested.

Posts: 2662Which freelancers are you talking about exactly? From Beach Road? Clubs? Thai Friendly? I was in Pattaya last week and had no problems at all to find young (below 30), slim, attractive freelancers on Thai Friendly, who were willing to do everything without condom. So not just BBBJ but also BBFS, and the majority of them with CIP.

I wouldn't say it's the norm. But it is so prevalent that I always negotiate BBBJ (and DFK) with any freelancer before I call her.

Posts: 519I don't mind the prices of freelancers, most of those are negotiable anyway. What I found to be alarming was the prevalence of "condom everything" services from them. In my years on mongering, thai freelancers were usually just fine with bareback blowjobs but that wasn't the case on my last trip.

Agreed. Multiple freelancers and bargirls told me post-covid spending and customers are still not at the high levels of pre-covid spending and customers, but prices continue to climb.

https://www.bangkokpost.com/thailand...ion-in-pattaya27 Dec 2024 CHON BURI - Twenty women from different countries were arrested in Pattaya beach town on Friday for allegedly providing sex services.
The arrests followed complaints made by locals and tourists about a group of foreign women standing at various spots along the beach and soliciting sex for money, which disturbed the public peace, said Pol Lt Col Piyapong Ensan, chief of Pattaya tourist police.

Should have fucked them while you could:
"Police officers discreetly monitored various spots along the beach before making their arrests. The detainees included women from Uganda (9), Uzbekistan (8), Madagascar (2), and Rwanda (1), aged between 26 and 51.
During initial questioning, all 20 women admitted to arriving in Pattaya to work as sex workers catering to foreign clients. Authorities charged them under Section 5 of the Prevention and Suppression of Prostitution Act, be. E. 2539 (1996), which prohibits public solicitation for prostitution in a manner deemed open, shameful, or disturbing to the public. ".
