I have lived outside the US for a large portion of my life. So I well understand different economics. But you know, a Starbucks coffee in Jakarta is not much cheaper than in the US. And if I'm willing to pay 4 to 5 USD for cup of Joe in Jakarta, I am happy to give $6 to a pretty girl who made me happy. It gets me a good reputation and consistently good service. I don't care about the rest of it.

Has anyone else seen the monkey on the moto?

This was on one of the side streets off of Mangga Besar. Two guys came walking by with the monkey on a little motorcycle and they were whisking it around with a rope while another guy was beating the drums making jungle music. Very impressive. They also had another act where the monkey was walking in stilts but I didn't get any pictures or video of that part.

I just saw it as atypical behavior in a Walking Steet Gogo bar. I have no skin in his stuffed animal game. And I've seen something similar in the US in various strip clubs. A guy comes in and takes a seat in the back. He never buys a drink, never buys a dance. He will chat up any dancer that will talk to him; some do, some don't. Lonely guy? Maybe.

I never asked about paying afterwards so how would I know? I was always asked for the 365 k and paid it to the mami when asked before going to the room. As far as these fake shot girls they never came up to me so I never saw them. But just tell them no. What's so hard about that? Whenever I go to lay the exit fee I literally hand them my bracelet and a 5 k note so how exactly would they charge me for the shots? Also I never had a mami trybto keep my change they didn't do that to me. And I reported on a bad experience where a girl tried to make me use a condom and then started saying sudah sudah and sakit and all that. I never said every single session there was perfect but for the most part I did have enjoyable sessions at Classic.

Also not sure what tip demands you are talking about. There are literally signs by the elevators and the cashiers that say in bahasa that asking for tips is strictly prohibited and to report anyone asking for tips to the management and they will take action.

Travel on the other hand is not good and not anywhere near as good as classic even though they supposedly have the same owners. For one thing classic entry fee is 14 k not 5 k and the girls are 375 k not 365 k,thr rooms are older and not as good (some don't have Working AC). And also BBBJ is not standard at Travel either in my experience.
