I noticed a lot of massage places, but no reports here on pricing. Also, given the reports of ladies stealing from hotel rooms, are there short time hotels as an alternative?

Posts: 2449That is not common practice in Sosua. A big red flag there! A no no! Even a set up!

Posts: 3257Everything you need is there.
You are new but everything you need is at hand. You can get a 5 day sim card for less then 5 dollars at claro stores which are every where. The vast majority of girls do not need pimps. Sosua is freelance heaven. Once you learn the lay of the land you see how user friendly it is. Talk to some of the local expats they will get you up to speed quickly.

Posts: 5459I'm not suggesting that the E-Ticket is new, only that I haven't seen any reports about it, and it's important.

I am noticing that freelancers in the street who don't speak English will use a local guy as a translator and pimp. I don't see that much in other places.
For some reason, the coffee here is excellent (so far), but the WiFi (both at the hotel and on my telephone) is awful. I don't know if it's possible to buy a short time SIM card.

ATM's are notoriously unreliable here the one most reliable is Popular next to Baylee's.
Money changers are everywhere and the guys opposite Baylee's' are competitive. But you need to know something about current bank rates before you pull the trigger. Best to get a few rate quotes so you'll know what your talking about, and they'll always sweeten the offer a little For a peso or two more the Kiosks will give to a decent rate, and a receipt. In both cases count your money twice before you leave. But my advice is to use an ATM. You'll get local currency at the minimum rate from your bank. See above comment on ATM's.
A bottle of water can be bought at any bar for loose change, and a smile to a server could get you a free cup of water with ice, if you drink it there.
Once the small stuff taken care of your only decisions will be either to eat then fuck, or fuck then eat!
There are lots of Europeans here, and women of every shape, size, attitude and every color of the rainbow! You won't need to butter up the mamasan pimps, or buy 40 Lady Drinks to sit at a table and watch the passing parade!
Good luck and put in a report.

Strip clubs?
Newbie here arriving end of April for my first visit. Obviously strip clubs are not necessary here however I do find them as a fun time killer. Is there any in sosua? I tried Google but only came up with something called king of diamonds in a resort.

Posts: 5459First impressions of Sosua:
You need an E-Ticket to enter the Dominican Republic. They didn't ask for it at check in, they asked for it at the gate. Where there was bad WiFi, and then the app failed.
I took the bus from Santo Domingo. It was cheap, and the ride wasn't too long.
There are tons of doable ladies walking around, I was hit up constantly. Rio had very few doable ladies on the street andmost had boyfriends with them. Medellíand had a handful of Miss Universe types, but they were civvies. The working girls were 5's to 7's. Pattaya has a comparable number of ladies on the street, but not in the same class as Sosua ladies.
A surprising number of non-US tourists here, I am hearing a lot of French.
Unlike Thailand, Sosua is not so user friendly. I had to walk a kilometer to buy a bottle of water. Some ATMs cannot do international transactions, and the most common can't handle a 6 digit PIN. Let's hope my cash doesn't run out. Or that I can find an exchange place.

A term that was used by a female I knew.
She was recounting to her girlfriends on how her ex boyfriend would come over and insist on sex, and "pound the shit out of my ovaries" until he was done, then he's go home.
Yes that specimen of the fair sex, Lo.

After a courtesy "thank you mam" worn cloth cleanup from assembly line hoe, please be sure to return her to the nearest corner from where you first met. Remember Its not your assembly hoe its just your turn. Sharing is caring. Thank you and have a nice day.

Posts: 18757Why are you getting all romantic on us? The only qualification for sleeping with someone is wanting to fuck the person. I do not have to like or respect McDonald's in order to go grab a hamburger there. Do you understand women that sleep with guys for money but do not like or respect them?
