To get a good experience, you need to adjust to where you are, and show some respect to the people here who know better than you (Mr. Enternational, Nyezhov, etc.), and can offer you some tips if they bother spending the time to write it.

I'm sure you've heard the expression "when in Rome ..." Maybe you can go in to a go-go bar and go out with a girl without paying for a drink, but before you can do that you need to understand how things normally work there. When learning to drive, you need to do things by the book. After enough experience, you start adjusting and understand how and when you can break the rules.

In Thailand, after you enter a go-go, if you're going to say much more than "Hello, how are you, short-time with you how much?*" to a girl, it is expected you buy both her and yourself a drink. She and the bar make money from that, and the girl normally also has a quota of "lady drinks" she needs to sell every month, or it will be deducted from her salary. During that one drink, which costs around 200-250 baht, you evaluate her. Some go-go bars have a scam going where they make you pay for two drinks. One with the alcohol, and one for mixing. Like "whiskey coke" is actually a glass of whiskey, and a separate glass of coke at these places. If they try that, tell them "one drink only". During the drink you chat and fondle the girl a bit, figuring out if you want her to go with you or not. Then you pay the barfine at the bar, ignoring any requests for buying one more drink unless you want to, and pay the girl at your place /after/ you have finished banging her.

There are other places where you can "point and shoot", but go-go bars are not it, and so you need to adjust. Maybe you can take the go-go girl out without buying a drink if you're quick, know what you're doing, and the girl and mamasan also agree you know what you're doing, but then, in addition to coming off as a bit original, you'll be paying 1000+ in barefine, then 3000+ for short-time, plus taxi, plus having spent an hour+ going to the go-go bars, finding your girl, and back to your cave in the hills. All that without having much of an idea of whether the girl you choose is overly drunk, crazy, an annoying idiot, a cold fish, someone who thinks you are disgusting but she will fuck you with a minimal performance anyway, or something else that would have made you change your mind had you spent 5-10 minutes and 250 baht on having a drink with her.

I see the drink price of 250 thb as the price I have to pay to reduce the chance of 30 minutes later feeling I wasted 4,000+ and an evening. That's why I'd only skip the drink it if it was a girl I already knew, but in that case I'd just invite her over before or after work via private messages instead, saving both the price of the barfine and getting a cheaper rate for the short-time.

And stay away from the arab's bar on Soi cowboy.

*I recommend asking this before buying the drink only because some go-go bars, for some reason, have girls who do not go with customers. Or as has happened with me, the girl is on her period that night. 10 minutes later, she will not care or remember she already told you her price, and you can instead suggest a different price yourself if you want.

So, I gots some questions as to the pricing with Soi 4 walkers, and of course, me looking like a 6 foot plus stork walking around like the most obvious tourist you've ever seen. To get a good experience, you need to adjust to where you are, and show some respect to the people here who know better than you (Mr. Enternational, Nyezhov, etc.), and can offer you some tips if they bother spending the time to write it.

I'm sure you've heard the expression "when in Rome ..." Maybe you can go in to a go-go bar and go out with a girl without paying for a drink, but before you can do that you need to understand how things normally work there. When learning to drive, you need to do things by the book. After enough experience, you start adjusting and understand how and when you can break the rules.

In Thailand, after you enter a go-go, if you're going to say much more than "Hello, how are you, short-time with you how much?*" to a girl, it is expected you buy both her and yourself a drink. She and the bar make money from that, and the girl normally also has a quota of "lady drinks" she needs to sell every month, or it will be deducted from her salary. During that one drink, which costs around 200-250 baht, you evaluate her. Some go-go bars have a scam going where they make you pay for two drinks. One with the alcohol, and one for mixing. Like "whiskey coke" is actually a glass of whiskey, and a separate glass of coke at these places. If they try that, tell them "one drink only". During the drink you chat and fondle the girl a bit, figuring out if you want her to go with you or not. Then you pay the barfine at the bar, ignoring any requests for buying one more drink unless you want to, and pay the girl at your place /after/ you have finished banging her.

There are other places where you can "point and shoot", but go-go bars are not it, and so you need to adjust. Maybe you can take the go-go girl out without buying a drink if you're quick, know what you're doing, and the girl and mamasan also agree you know what you're doing, but then, in addition to coming off as a bit original, you'll be paying 1000+ in barefine, then 3000+ for short-time, plus taxi, plus having spent an hour+ going to the go-go bars, finding your girl, and back to your cave in the hills. I see the drink price of 250 thb as the price I have to pay to reduce the chance of 30 minutes later feeling I wasted 4,000+ and an evening. That's why I'd only skip the drink it if it was a girl I already knew, but in that case I'd just invite her over before or after work via private messages instead, saving both the price of the barfine and getting a cheaper rate for the short-time.

And stay away from the arab's bar on Soi cowboy.

*I recommend asking this before buying the drink only because some go-go bars, for some reason, have girls who do not go with customers.
