This may be a dumb question, but does anyone here have an idea of what one would use to acquire Au, Ag, Bitcoin, or Real Estate?

This is a very broad question, so please excuse the very broad response, I have also asked some question should you desire further clarification or inquirty on what I have written.

The only bitcoin I ever aquired was through "mining" it back when mining it was a profitable venture. Essentially I already had a few, liquid cooled, "folding at home" rigs built for Stanford's project, overclocked, fully customized, with a trio of NVIDIA cards doing there thing, you know, the whole jazz computer systems, lovely thing I built. I switched those over to mining Bitcoin when it made sense to do so early on, all the way through when it was profitable to do so considering energy costs, and the ever shrinking amount of Bitcoin being available as held factors to consider. Of course China there for a while, had INSANELY low energy prices, so mining it there was super profitable as compared to the US more recently, but they closed that loop hole. As far as buying Bitcoin now, for the love of god, why? I just let my guy handle that stuff but I would not go dumping money into Bitcoin at the moment, if that is what you are asking? I also wouldn't mine it if that is what you are asking? If you're trying to aquire small amounts of Bitcoin for anonymous transactions using it like see**h app or something, I can't help you there.

As far as AU, this is one of the few pieces of "gold" I got from one of my degrees. AU is actually not rare at all, sure it is compared to say aluminum, but it is not as rare as you would imagine. Russia could have untold TRILLIONS in gold that they are witholding from the market that could make gold crash at any moment they choose by starting to dump it. Whereas lets say, pallasite, coming from meteors, is actually rare, there being so little of it on earth. Gold is a stable commodity no doubt, but I would not go dumping money into gold right now, that would be a buy high sell low situation. Is that what you are asking, where to buy the element AU? I would personally go to a place that is going to sell it to your for spot value with maybe a 1% markup cause they got to eat too. Do not overpay for a rare metal at all. When selling expect to lose less than 2% of spot (low ask) and when buying expect a 1% markup (high ask). Not sure if that's what you meant of "aquiring" AU, but there's my best shot.

Here's the thing about good ol' Argento or AG. It's heavy. Super heavy. And like, 1000 pounds of it is going to be worth like 275 K, but that's 1000 pounds of shit you got to deal with or store somewhere. Just a thought but I would skip AG altogether. But if you must. There's the trick of going to banks and buying rolls of 50 pecent pieces and the like, and sifting through those to find the older solid silver ones from the newer "sandwiched" ones that hold no rare metal value. Banks I believe, are barred from seperating coins in this manner to make money, but there wouldn't be much money in it anyway. There are folks who make thousands a year doing this and it's not illegal at all. Just a ton of effort for a literal ton of metal. I suppose you could also buy and sell with spot price in mind, but AG is just, not wort it in my opinion.

Real Estate. A real estate agent I suppose. Another method is to go down to the local county clerk tax office, where you can pull records on whoever own what. It's public information. For example when Oprah Winfrey overpayed a couple 50 million dollars or some jazz to buy their home from them because she just had to have it, her lawyers probably obtained this info in the aofrementioned described fashion.

Okay, so, gentlemen. I have obviously been posting rants in the reports section, and the mods have been so gracious as to move them to the appropriate board, thank you for that. I'm going to try and quickly identify which gents I feel on this forum are worth my time and which one's aren't. This rant section is wild and I love it. I mean, I have a guy asking me how can I be a nice guy one second and a rotten son of a ***** the next. Have you even lived life? Are you human? Such is the nature of my existence, I wake up every day and try to be less of an asshole making mistakes left and right. I stupidly apologized to this Mr. Vowel, thinking that I was dealing with a cogent individual, and I find it's always best to apologize when I err. I'm not super interested in some of the drama flying around, but I sure as hell want to know if some person is masquerading as knowledgeable when they are full of shit. I am trying my best to provide factual and actionable information, and I hope there are others here with the same intent. Seeing as I can detect and remember patterns like nobodies business, it won't take me long to see what's up.

This forum changed my world view. I honestly at first just checked to see which countries and cities had the most reports, and went from there. Quantity has to count for something, no? Then from there I read the respective forums and checked the pic thumbnails to see what I could maybe expect and was potentially heading into. The information printed on this forum has real world effects. So I will be checking the "rants" forums to see if I can glean who are the donuts, and who are in the know. I can say this, my posts will be factual, and I will try my best to give actionable information. Additionally, I think maybe us gents can dispense with some of the nonsense such as people saying one man's 5 is another man's 10 and such as far as universal standards. Like, if we can't even come up with and discuss a metric of evaluation for beauty, then what's the point of even discussing anything at all, what's the point of advisors?
