Just go for it mate, if you do nothing you'll regret if for a long time (if you excuse the pun) when your trip is over, you can't get the time back. I've wasted many a short trip to BKK.

If you are out of town a bit or not close to the main 'Red light' areas then street walkers is probably going to be the least successful route. You could waste a lot of time looking and end up with nothing or worse a LB!

For a lot of girls these days "long time" means until like 5 am, so be sure to clarify it with the girl if you are actually looking to sleep together until morning + wake up to fuck again. I will give soi 24 a look. Like I said I did want to try a massage place for a short time. This is my first trip so I'm seeing what's on offer.
