Posts: 1004Just tell them you're staying in Manila. They should be able to get in touch with you via phone or email if they really have to.

Posts: 18757Like when my brother was going to Manila. I told him to stay in Ermita. He chose this ritzy hotel in another place. Whenever he went out, it was 1 hour to go anywhere. Yeah the shit looks 5 minutes away on a map when you are sitting on the other side of the world, but people with experience know the truth.

Thanks for your replies.
I completely understand that logistically it makes much more sense to stay at the places that you have all mentioned. Unfortunately I have family back home who need to know where I am staying, I can't just go off radar. If I stay somewhere that is in the heart of a red-light area with very little else there to do it will raise eyebrows to say the least. I'.
That is why I always tend to stay a little distance away from established red light areas even though it adds a degree of inconvenience.
If that just won't work in Angeles then I'll have to give it a miss and stick to Manila.
Thanks.

Posts: 16331. No, girls don't care if you fuck them behind the dumpster or in the penthouse at Ritz Carlton, they care about money only. And the long travel time is a disadvantage for them: waisted time. Maybe if you get to know one and she gains your trust, and you pay her to be with you for a few days, then she will be happy to take selfies with the nice chandeliers in the lobby, otherwise they will stick to the known territory. Also don't forget her sense of safety, going with a stranger out of the city in the darkness, that may be her last trip, as the horror stories circulating among them say.

2. In a place like AC the reputation is kept by denying access in the hotel to hookers, unless you register her as a guest when you check in. You can try bribing porters and receptionists, it may or may not work, but why complicate things, when you have plenty of luxurious options, if that's your thing, close by, like WestCoast says. If this is your first time here, just book a room at Royal Amsterdam, for 2 nights, then see what suits you better, ABC, Kandi, or the ones in Clark, you may be scared to walk even to ABC or Kandi in the dark. Just saying.

Posts: 8127Way overthinking things here. If you're ok spending 30 minutes in a taxi / Grab each way (seems nuts to me given the choice of decent condos much closer -- ie Kandi and ABC), that's an hour's driving, which will probably mean 1 trip to WS and home each evening. Just do it.

Or stop all of this and get a place closer to the action (many choices) where you can waltz girls in / out all day long. Everything else (#1, #2, etc) is yada yada yada.
Tip your cabbie, and tell us what you thought of things while there.

This is similar to my experience in Angeles City and my opinions of Angeles City. I go every month was there a couple weeks ago and will return in a couple weeks. All I see in the bars are 4's and 5's 90% of the women in the bars are 4's and 5's. There may be one or two or even three 6's or even a 7's I've never seen anyone in Angeles I would call a 8, 9, or 10, from my experience the 6/7's are Korean only girls, and you have to jump through hoops and do a song and dance to convince them to go with you and at best you'll have a 50% success rate in getting the one or two 6's /7's to go with a non-Korean. The 4's and 5's always seem friendly and eager to go but I just can't justify paying $100 for a girl who's only a 4 or 5. I've seen many guys claim on here they are getting the 6's and 7's with no problem. Either their 6/7 is my 4/5 or they are throwing a lot of money around and jumping through hoops and doing a song and dance to get them and still only successful 50% of the time or they are a Brad Pitt look alike. The number one draw to Angeles City is that it is still 100% bare back friendly if that ever changes then there is NO reason to return to Angeles City.

Posts: 884Every now and then someone comes to the boards and tries to do something totally different than what most guys coming here do. Then people with far more experience try to tell them that's a bad idea. Then the OP gets offended and tries to argue why they are right. Eventually experienced posters give up and say fine do whatever you like, since you seem to know better than people who have been there dozens of times in spite of never stepping a foot in there yourself. I see all this happening again.

You may be correct as most mongers stay close to walking street.

Posts: 18757Don't try to reinvent the wheel. The prostitutes are not on vacation, you are. Have you seen the shacks that they grew up in? They do not care about your accommodation; they care about the money you are paying them.

Again, do not try to reinvent the wheel. You have seen no reports here mentioning staying 30 minutes away. Might as well stay home if you are thinking about doing some shit like that.

Thanks for the replies.
I don't mind sitting in a taxi for half an hour or so each way, are we saying it will be much more than that?
As for.
1) Girls not wanting to go back there. Wouldn't they actually prefer to be going to a nicer hotel? Usually that tells them that they might get a better tip if they behave well.
2) Not being girl friendly. My experience in even far more conservative countries than Ph is that at 5 star hotels no one seems to say anything.
This will be my first visit to Ph, I am basing 1) and 2) on my experience in other countries so am happy to be corrected if I have it wrong.
Thank you.

Posts: 1702Why don't you try plugging in a starting and end point on the map after clicking on "directions"? Did you know that will give you an estimated travel time and distance between two locations under the current traffic conditions including road closures and detours? Have you ever used GPS at anytime for navigation before? It's pretty simple and user friendly. I know that some people are old fashioned and are not too keen when it comes to using technology or how to use certain gadgets.
