There are tens of thousands of Farangs living in the Pattaya Darkside, the vast majority with a Thai wife or girlfriend.

There are 100's of bars in the Darkside, but very few short time tourists venture there, the vast majority of bar customers are Farang expats who live in the Darkside.

So why are these happily married expats going to lady bars?

It depends on the guy. If your into asians, then nothing can hold a candle to Thailand. Me personally, 90% of asians just don't do it for me and I would rather wack off to porn. Tall Busty latinas make me go wild though, so I would assume Brazil for a guy like me blows Thailand away. My time in Thailand was still great and you can find some real gems.

As for the set up to meet girls. Thailand gets annoying really quick with the bar fines and the girls grabbing you only to want you to buy them girl drinks. I actually prefer the Sosua set up where girls mostly leave you alone and its up to you to pick them.

It's an hour long, but highly informative. It does make me think. I had no idea you could visit prisoners there just for the heck of it. The bearded guy is actually back in the UK. A bit unfair if you ask me, shoulda just rotted in prison, but some people are just lucky I guess.

Here's the deal though. What's worse? The metaphorical prison of being the States in this shitty economy with a shitty job? Or the literal prison of being incarcerated for decades in a Thai penitentiary? One could argue that an actual prison is far worse than a metaphorical one, but the actual prison is in Thailand though. And I've always argued that anything in Thailand is better than something here in the States.
