Got into BKK at 4:45 this morning via ORD and HND. ANA air was great.

Awesome service and plenty of legroom even in standard economy. Was through immigration in 5 minutes, and found the bus. I was expecting first bus to leave at 7, but there was 1 at 6 am. Got 2 the moto taxi stand called grab and got to my hotel, near LK Metro less than 2 hours after leaving bkk.

Cheap hotel room (probably not guest friendly) wasn't ready at 8 am. Dropped my bags and went for breakfast. Back at 9 and they were finishing my room off. Checked me in at 930. , instead of making me wait til 1.

Cost of the bus was 143 thb. Cost of the grab 105 thb. Hotel is $18 per night, basic rooms, but comfortable. Will get out and gather impressions after I get some sleep.

I totally agree. Before Covid, it was easy to fuck girls for 1000 bahts and for 1500 bareback! And girls were quite good looking! I've walked Beach Road before only during the day time. Is it completely different at night? Are the girls there just obviously waiting to be picked up?
