What is Trump going to do now? Send the National Guard to red Utah? Threaten to withhold funds if red Utah doesn't get its act together? If he really wants to address crime, how about cut the bullshit political theater and take on the gun violence in this country with some sensible gun reform? We've got to do something! The time for only prayers is long over. It's time for action! God helps those who help themselves. Instead, he and people from the right say the violence is all coming from the left. That's bullshit! Buckle up. I've got a lot of crowing to do right now.

While typically pro Repub Mainstream Media is spinning the latest routine jobs report revisions as they usually spin things, to help Repubs win elections, the lucky readers of this forum and my posts all along the way will recognize nothing at odds about that latest revision with regard to Biden working his brilliant border / immigration policy to bring his previously necessary strong jobs creation for the greatest recovery from Trump's Pandemic of any nation on Earth to a soft landing with "weaker" jobs creation to not only avoid a Recession and bring the rate of inflation down, that is to gradually cool down an over-heated economy that was creating too many jobs for the applicants available to take them, but to also give the Fed ample reason to do exactly what was necessary during that soft landing as well and what Trump has been demanding the Fed do but has been stupidly giving the Fed ample reason NOT to do; cut Fed Funds Rates to more normal levels for a more normal post-Trump's Pandemic economy.

With this recent revision, and there will be another one next year, we now know better than ever that Biden was doing exactly what he should have been doing all along.

The Fed was doing exactly what it should have been doing all along.

The BLS was doing exactly what it should have been doing all along.

But the companies and corporations who are surveyed and asked to respond with their jobs creation vs reduction numbers were not doing what they should have been doing if they did not respond at all, which too many of them have been doing since Trump's Pandemic.

And even worse, Trump was doing the exact OPPOSITE of what he was supposed to be doing by blathering on and on since at least November that his dream goal was to increase the price of everything the American Consumer bought by 20%+ ASAP, if indeed he ever wanted a Fed Funds Rate cut along with the decline in the rate of inflation that was being brilliantly effected by Joe Biden in the 2nd half of last year.

A few more important points:

Deep revisions happen often. The BLS revised one of Trump's years in his first term down by 500,000 jobs.

Joe Biden's economy had been officially on record creating 16,153,000 jobs in four years. With this revision of 911,000 jobs, that number is reduced to about 15,000,000 jobs in four years, a revision of roughly 0. 06% of the USA Labor Force.

15,000,000 jobs is still a higher jobs creation than any Repub president's economy regardless whether he served 4 years or 8 years with the narrow lone exception being Ronald Reagan whose economy after he tripled the national debt created about 16,000,000 jobs but over 8 years, twice as long as Joe Biden's economic recovery had to create something less than 1 million fewer jobs than Reagan's economy did in 8 years.

Biden brilliantly did not close the borders to immigrants who had the legal and USA Constitutionally-mandated right to be here while their claim of seeking asylum from persecution in their home country was being duly investigated, which, thanks to Trump trashing that system as he got his ass kicked out of the White House, was taking months and months to do instead of a few weeks.

AS WE KNOW from the several posts and links provided by me, a free flow of immigration was key to keeping the economy going, thriving, creating and not losing jobs as well as keeping the rate of inflation lower than it would have been otherwise in the wake of and Response to Trump's Pandrmic.

So when that rate of inflation had fallen to within a fraction of a point of the Fed's target rate early last year, that is when Biden reversed his border / immigration policies to tighten the border and reduce the flow of immigrants into the country. Thereby reducing the number of jobs being created.

No, that does not mean just jobs that undocumented workers could take. That means the millions of jobs tangential to and that follow an increase in customers, consumers of goods, facilitated and expanded by virtue of lower income immigrants contributing to the production of goods and the subsequent selling of them; commerce.

So downward jobs creation reports and downward revisions in those numbers over the past year was exactly what Biden intended to happen and was supposed to happen!

That brilliant and brave endeavor by Biden was only marred in a relatively minor way by the fact that companies and corporations were not responding to the routine BLS surveys as accurately as they should have been doing. Hence the later revisions.

It was during that time when Biden's reversal of his immigration management gave the Fed and most economists every reason to predict they could probably enact 2-3 Fed Funds Rate this year.

Until Trump started his blathering about his ridiculous tariffs / increased taxes on the American Working Men and Women Consumers.

Consequently, the real fuck up in this whole process was Donald Trump, who has now spent 10-11 months blathering on and on about how his number 1 goal is to increase the cost of everything by at least 20%, raise the rate of inflation and give the Fed absolutely zero reason to make good on that prediction of 2-3 likely rate cuts this year.

Now we see that Biden's intentions and efforts were doing exactly what he meant them to do and should have been doing in order to reduce the rate of inflation, which was well and surely happening last year, and to justify those Fed Funds Rate cuts that were definitely on track for this year until Trump started his blathering about across-the-board ridiculously high tariffs and took those Fed Funds Rate cuts plans right off the table. Until now.
