In the interest of intellectual honesty, and to walk the talk, I'm going to clarify this. I saw a clip on the news that did not include Kirk's full statement (unfortunately the news outlets do this a lot creating a false or misleading impression). I did some research, and Kirk's full statement essentially was that he did not believe that reparations should be paid to African Americans living today because nothing bad has happened to them, unlike their ancestors who indeed did have something bad happen to them. That's the essence of what he said, which I still find to be intellectually dishonest. Plenty of bad things still happen to black people today precisely because of their race (example, far more likely to be subjected to excessive police brutality). There may be no more slavery, but rest assured racism and colorism are alive and well. Again, I agree with him that reparations should not be paid, but for totally different reasons I won't go into as that's getting off the main discussion now. I'll leave it like this. Abraham Lincoln, perhaps the greatest president of them all, had it right. He thought that blacks should be repatriated to Africa. Not because he was a racist. But because he believed black people would never be able to forgive white people for what they had done (there needs to be a recognition in the first place that something very wrong was done in order to realize a need for forgiveness). And second, he believed that white people would never fully let go of their racism. This country has come forward a really, really long way. But we still struggle to be a more perfect union. To be the United States of America. The great American experiment is in crisis, and I'm scared. I'm scared that we're moving backwards. Leaders on either side aren't leading. The divide is getting too wide. And a divided house collapses in on itself and falls.

Cane, because of the Democrats belief on illegal immigration, we cannot even agree who our citizens are. Democratic douches are so fucked in the head that they think people illegally entering the country and illegally working here have Constitutional rights. Well, they do not. They have the right to be treated humanely, and that is about it.

And fuck all that shit about they are so hard working crap. Those illegals screw over those who need a living wage and the legal immigrants. If we need immigrants, we should let them come in legally. I am 100% for expanded legal immigration and a type of amnesty program but no voting until you are a citizen. One of the absolute worst things that the Biden administration did was the way they handled illegal immigration. The way they handled it made no sense, and I couldn't figure out the strategy. Here is what I know. Most people who come here illegally seeking asylum are lying. Not all but not most. They will say that they seek to escape gangs and violence and all that sort of thing. But for most, that's not the real reason. The real reason they come is as economic migrants and / or to reunite with family members who are already living in the States, many of them illegally as well. And I think the truth is that we really do need for people to come. This is a nation of immigrants. We need people to pick our fruits and vegetables, to build new homes, etc. But they need to come here legally. And if they don't, then they have no right to remain here or to be treated as citizens, which they are not. No nation should be letting just anyone and everyone enter its borders, get away with making false asylum claims, be entitled to generous public assistance, etc. I wish we had something like the European Union. The "North American Union", with the dollar as the common currency, that would allow people to move more freely back and forth to work. People want to work. We need the labor. And it could break the crooked coyotes from exploiting people so much. But regardless of whatever system is in place, if you come here illegally, then you got to go! That said, I do believe there does need to be some level of due process. People should be able to state their case. But "catch and release" is stupid, expecting people to voluntarily show up for their hearing when many just choose to disappear into the shadows instead. Keep the illegals detained, do not separate kids from parents, allow for some due process, and deport as required. Even better, keep out as many as possible in the first place, and put the screws to Mexico for letting all these people flow freely through their country up to the American border.

Charlie Kirk was assassinated because the radical Left did not like what he was saying and they hated his rising popularity especially among college kids. Americans have come to accept that school shootings and political hits are a necessary price to insure freedom and the continuation of the Second Amendment without any changes.

Beijing, its not that simple. If I could snap my fingers and make all guns in the USA disappear, I would in a second. There are so many guns in the USA it would be impossible at this point to make them illegal. This is a country of 330 million plus probably 20 million illegal immigrants, 350 million total. Imagine you had dozens of people in your life who you loved dearly. Family, friends, wife, parents, children, whatever. Now imagine a group of 1000 people who hated you and everyone you love and 100 of those people who hate you are directly responsible for killing, kidnapping, and torturing several of the people you love. Only 100 of the 1000 are directly responsible for this, but the 1000 all hate you and some of their children will try to kill the people you love in future generations. Here is your choice, kill all 1000 people and save everyone you love or continue to allow the people you love to be killed, kidnapped, and tortured. What would you do? That is a hard question, but someone who decides to kill to protect their family is not some one I would automatically call evil and label a villain. Charlie Kirk was not a bad person in the slightest for supporting Israel. Unless you are Israeli or Palestinian, it is very hard to pass judgement on this. You must live there to truly understand what is going on. For most of history this questioned has been answered with war and the stronger people eliminate the people who threaten them. I am not saying that is the right thing to do, I am just stating what has historically happened.

Charlie kirk was not an evil person just because he supported Israel. Charlie Kirk was a brave and intelligent man who gave his life for the things he believed in. He constantly advocated for peaceful debate and there is too much slander on his name.

My biggest question during this whole war is why do these Arab Muslim nations who care so much about Palestine not allow them to enter their countries? Egypt? Iran? Iraq? Why do they not save their Muslim brothers and their children? Why watch them be forced from their homes and bombed and killed and mutilated? My guess is they want conflict and they hate Israel so much they would rather watch their fellow Muslims die and lose their land than bow down to the people they hate, the Israelis. I think this is horrible and cruel by the Muslim nations. I know if it were me, in a heartbeat I would take them in as refugees. Sickening no Muslim nations will let them enter their countries to save them.

Well it's clear that doing the same thing over and over and expecting something different to happen is no solution. That's one definition of insanity. Rarely is there a clear solution to difficult problems. But courageous people understand they have to act to bring about change. I don't think getting rid of access to all guns is the solution, and I don't know of any sensible person who proposes that. But there needs to be some sensible regulations put into place. The United States, the supposed world leader, is the only country in the world with a gun violence problem of this nature. We're leading in the wrong category here. Continued prayer for the family then hearing about the next round of shootings the next day is not a viable option. It's never been one. Doing something is better than doing nothing at this point. The 2nd amendment is not absolute, just like any other right in the Bill of Rights, and subject to regulation just like any other right. That's my view of it. I've been sick of this since Columbine. Think of how long ago that was. Enough is enough!

I do not have a problem with expanded time for elections. Voting does not have to be one day, but Republicans want paper ballots, voter ID laws, and no illegals voting. Quite frankly, if you are not for those laws, then you are for cheating in the voting.
