I used to be a liberal, they made me hard core MAGA I really hate them.

Traditional liberalism cannot exist in the current power structure of the woke totalitarian Democrat party. Fetterman survives, but for how long. I am pretty sure he will be challenged by a woke radical in his next primary as was Lieberman in his day before he was forced to leave the party to stay in office. This is correct about the Constitution and how it has been interpreted by the courts with respect to immigrant rights. Thus, the need for due process as I said. That means that you don't get to just send someone off to El Salvador (or to South Sudan or wherever) because you don't like them being here. We need to follow the rules. And rule number 1 is that the Constitution is the law of the land, and we swear allegiance to it. Not to Donald Trump, Pam Bondi or any other person. Rule number 2 is that we have three coequal branches of government. That means that you don't get to ignore court rulings and stays because you don't like them or find them inconvenient. The man said we can't do business anymore, and he's right. Again, one reason he's right is because Americans are no longer are agreeing upon and following the rules that made this nation history's greatest democracy. If we can't agree upon the most basic of the sacred rules for governing the republic, then it's going to flounder and fail. I have seen the enemy, and it is us.

Should always follow the constitution, except in times of imminent danger. Some people argue the migrant invasion does classify as imminent danger. I personally don't believe so. I am sure Trump is using some kind of loop hole to remove migrants with out giving them a court date. Honestly, when 20 million people invade your country and a signifiicant percentage of them are drug cartel members and your nation is hooked on deadly drugs like fentanyl, I don't have any problem at all with him using a loop whole to kick out immigrants who break the law or take advantage of the system. Should American tax payers pay for all those court hearings? Fuck no! I think he should allow any immigrant who is working and living a respectable life to remain, just don't allow them to vote. If they have children here and they are here for at least 7-10 years before they turn 18, then they get the right to vote. Thats about the time it takes to learn and respect a societies culture. Border has got to be secured at all costs.

In the interest of intellectual honesty, and to walk the talk, I'm going to clarify this. I saw a clip on the news that did not include Kirk's full statement (unfortunately the news outlets do this a lot creating a false or misleading impression). I did some research, and Kirk's full statement essentially was that he did not believe that reparations should be paid to African Americans living today because nothing bad has happened to them, unlike their ancestors who indeed did have something bad happen to them. That's the essence of what he said, which I still find to be intellectually dishonest. Plenty of bad things still happen to black people today precisely because of their race (example, far more likely to be subjected to excessive police brutality). There may be no more slavery, but rest assured racism and colorism are alive and well. Again, I agree with him that reparations should not be paid, but for totally different reasons I won't go into as that's getting off the main discussion now. I'll leave it like this. Abraham Lincoln, perhaps the greatest president of them all, had it right. He thought that blacks should be repatriated to Africa. Not because he was a racist. But because he believed black people would never be able to forgive white people for what they had done (there needs to be a recognition in the first place that something very wrong was done in order to realize a need for forgiveness). And second, he believed that white people would never fully let go of their racism. This country has come forward a really, really long way. But we still struggle to be a more perfect union. To be the United States of America. The great American experiment is in crisis, and I'm scared. I'm scared that we're moving backwards. Leaders on either side aren't leading. The divide is getting too wide. And a divided house collapses in on itself and falls.
