There is nothing more the Dems can get out of allowing Trump and his Congressional Repubs to prolong their government shutdown.

They wouldn't. Jeffries and Schumer know they wouldn't. The 5 (not 8. Three had already sided with signing) Dems who flipped know they wouldn't. The GOP majority would just delay, delay, delay or outright overturn such a Dem-"won" agreement or law until it was rendered pointless.
No. The only way to stop Trump and his Congressional Repubs from continuing to do serious damage to America and its economy is with a very different election outcome. And everyone knows the Repub MAGAs will still fight tooth and nail, attack, maim and kill cops, try to assassinate numerous duly-elected officials, etc to reverse that as well!
Meanwhile, Trump and the Congressional Repubs, every one of them Flipped / Caved on their position regarding the Federal layoffs and backpay. All of them.
SNAP is in the courts and will probably fall in favor of America and the Dems.
The Dems gave up nothing of those and in fact got more out of the Repubs who Flipped / Caved on it. All of them.
The ACA / Obamacare? Yep. The Dems could not prevent Trump, his Congressional Repubs and the 6 MAGAs on the SCOTUS from getting their wish to jack up healthcare costs by 100%+ for 21+ million Americans less than a year before the midterms even if they had held out all through Thanksgiving and Christmas without those other Repub Flipped / Caved Cincessions.
Oh well. LOL.
Along the way, here is what the Dems' got and learned from their messaging and refusing to immediately sign the Repub CR:
The majority of the American people blame Trump and the Repubs for the shutdown. Polls show this.
The American people are riled up and emotionally opposed to Repubs in record numbers. The No Kings Demonstrations showed this.
That emotional investment translates into votes for Dems. Virtually every election since January shows this, especially last week.
Those 5 Dems that flipped did the right thing at the right time.

No question you bet the farm. And lost! You can take that to the bank. More like they foreclosed on your angry, intellectually bankrupt, MAGA ass. And now it's everyone else's fault for why you aren't successful in life, and never will be. It's everyone else's fault but your own. So, you would rather just destroy everything and everybody with a different world view than your own. Including trashing the Constitution. By any means necessary! And Donald Chump is your messenger. Your mean-spirited vengeance. You look at yourself in the mirror. And Donald Chump is exactly who you see. You didn't vote for a president. You voted for an angry, seething, reflection of yourself. And all the rest of your ilk did the same. Just like you. This is the truth. And Americans have never been good with handling and accepting the truth.

Where is it in his policy that makes you think the things in your hit piece video are true? I am sorry but me and most Americans just don't see it.

At 3:25 he nails the social issues turning point for Repub voters who desperately need to follow and support Trump and why he is now the template for all future Repub presidential candidates and congressional leadership.

We are not getting any answers from the White House. Can someone explain why a convicted sex trafficker on of underage girls was transferred from a prison to a "prison camp"? These "camps" have only been offered to people who have been convicted of less serious crimes.
They are never offered to persons involved in sex crimes. Why did Trump and his DOJ do this? All I've heard at this point is that this is Trump's doing. In addition to the transfer Maxwell has been afforded personal service of meals to her cell. She is allowed access to the gym whenever she wants. And she gets access to a "service" animal that is not offered to any other inmate.
The House has been out of session (paid) for 7 weeks. During this time a new rep from Arizona has been denied an opportunity to be sworn in. The reason: she is the final vote needed to force DOJ to release the Epstein Files. In the words of Johnnie Cochran "stop this coverup."
Why are the Repuglicans afraid to to have Epstein Files released. Will we find Trump in said files?

Posts: 1960Again with the f*cking capitulation, from another bunch of out of touch elites
Whoa! In the words of Jon Stewart, I cannot F*CKING believe IT, as he loses his lunch, to the recent capitulation, by the 8 turncoat Senators.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eFI6MwlLJ08
Yes...what a "gut-punch", that was from the 8-Dems Senators, going ahead and cutting, what appears to be a colossal bad deal, they conjured up with Repubs, to see Americans saddled with (as much as) 2x to 6x an increase in their cost of health premiums.
Obviously, these 8 sack-a-shit Senators, are about as out of touch, as the MAGA Fuhrer, when it comes to the cost of living, for real everyday hardworking Americans.
Ultimately, it's a MAGA/Repub bill, the Repubs will no doubt, have to explain to the American people, as they pass even bigger tax-cuts for their billionaire buddies. But AGAIN,...like WTF...as it just boggles the mind, why cave now, why the capitulation from the 8 Senator sellouts?

This video is a perfect explanation for bitter, angry MAGA supporters. And lying Donald Chump is their retribution. They look in the mirror and see a part or all of him within themselves:

As the once moderate and conservative gullible fools that make up the GOP/Repubs, it was but a minute, before your narcissistic MAGA Fuhrer, had them quivering like the spineless cowards, they truly are.
Your MAGA Fuhrer, maybe destroying democracy, as he's currently trying to do, but he'll NEVER destroy the will and power of the Democrats and the American people.
Judging by the surge of Latino and young men/women voters that finally got of the couch and showed up to vote, at the BIG WIN in the 2025 Elections (Nov 4th), the "NO KINGS" protests, and the beatdown given by Biden/Harris in 2020, your weirdo definition of "destroyed" is sadly overrated.
But as you QAnon/MAGA Rethuglicans, find more ways to cheat your way to a win in 2026 (like good little fascists do), the Democrats and the American people, will be there in lock-step, to do battle.

Posts: 878No, Elvis has posted a plethora of very useful travel info and info on how to deal with the women of Latin America in many different settings and types of relationships. Hate on him for his politics all you want, but he has posted a huge amount of trip reports based off his own experience.

As for healthcare, what exactly do the Dems want that Republicans won't budge on? I don't have time to follow it lately as closely as I would like, but from what I saw in the news, Dems want funding for Obama care for one more year and Republicans are saying no? I'll be honest, I am biased and I am angry at Dems for shutting the government down and costing Fed. Workers to lose out on their paycheck, but I also saw Trump today lay into Fed workers who didn't show up to work when they cut their pay off. I must break with Trump here and back workers. If you don't pay someone then they have the right to not show up to work. Politicians must be held accountable, and Trump should have played the "game" better and not allowed the Dems to keep shit shut down this long. Like I said though, I haven't had time to keep up much on it.
I saw some people playing up the wins in Virginia and New Jersey. I can't speak for Virginia, but I live in New Jersey and Sherrill won because last time we had a Republican Governor, that Fat Fuck Tiny Dick Chris Christie, he destroyed the public sector of the state and screwed up the state pension system for everyone. Even I had to vote for Sherril even though I strongly dislike the policy of Dems on a national level. He did some other shit which pissed a lot of people off, but Dems could have ran a monkey in a clown suit and he would have beat Chitarelli, even though personally I think Chitarelli is a good dude. Sorry for spelling mistakes.

So you must realize, The Project 2025, fascist playbook was written long before he took office and all the fascist characters, jesters, jokers and clowns were already lined-up, ready, able and willing to blindly follow, a narcissist dictator and right-wing fascist playbook, we see throughout history and the world, in places like Germany, Italy, Russia and Hungary.
But get this. Wikipedia (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_o...nts_by_country) ALREADY has, United States of America (Trumpist faction of the US Republican Party) listed as a fascist movement....FWIW! How apt and hilarious is that!
