President Donald Trump announced a $12 billion aid package for U.S. farmers, described as bridge payments to smooth the transition away from Biden-era economic policies.

Some in Americas agriculture industry say they are suffering as a result of Trumps wide-ranging trade war especially due to conflicts with China, a major U.S. customer.
