Well shit, that is Colombia. Long lines in stores because they use the cashiers for everything besides checking out. Mf in front of you paying a light bill. Next mf cashing a lottery ticket. Meanwhile, I just want to pay for this bottle of water. Why can't they use a separate customer service line for bullshit other than buying what is in the fucking store?

LOL- So Many DHs complaining about Bogotá -- Sure there are problems like any city but I have lived here going on 16 years and I Love it!

The store problem you speak of is easily solved if you know where to go-.

It's very affordable-- I can't afford to live in the USA-- I eat sirloin steak everyday-6/ lb) and do everything I would in California mostly except the beach.

I live in an 1100+ sqft apartment and pay my bills including internet for less than $500 a month.

It rains 30% + of the time here --so there is that.

Downtown (where I live) is a bit sketchy but I don't have a problem (knock on wood) I have lived in many bad areas in the USA and I find Bogotá much less predatory than any I have lived in--Not really had a problem in 15 yrs.

Troya is open, I'm not sure if fiebre is. I didn't go in bcz it was pouring rain yesterday, literally a monsoon and I was soaking wet. The guy was trying to lure me in but wasn't feeling it.

Casas are not so good in Bogota. Talent is hit or miss.

And for the price, 120 hh, 160 HR, plus the annoying 20-25 k Uber each way, not really worth it considering the girls don't fckng shower and neither do you (at least in the teusaquillo ones).

So I've given up on casas, the whole thing is too easy, there is no hunt. No rapport. I much prefer SW in sf, you have the hunt, you make the eye contact, build rapport, etc. Bad attitude, see ya!

Late afternoon / early evening when it was raining pretty hard (Monday), I checked out a few spots in Chapinero:

Cra 15 #67-24 - line up was pretty disappointing bad so I decided to walk out. As I was almost out the door, the guy working there brought a shorter, cuter girl who I would rate as a 7, the most decent one among the pack, but wasn't feeling it so I left. Probably wouldn't return based on the visit.

Tantra. Line up was also disappointing although just slightly better than the casa. I did see one pretty girl talking to a guy on the couch so she didn't present. It was awkward saying I don't want to choose anyone while the girls were just standing there. I left quietly after chatting with some Colombian guys sitting next to me. Maybe I need to give it another shot on a different day and time.

Lux. This place was nice and while only 3 girls, they were better looking than the other two locations I checked out. Tall and nicely proportioned. I would have pulled the trigger on 2 of the 3 but I ended up leaving due to dinner plans and with the $ being more than other locations. I would return if other options don't pan out.

Als walked by GYT, but didn't know where to go so never got to scout the casa that's been mentioned on the board. Also started looking at websites and messaging chicas—may try to see an independent or see a cute one at one of the casas / clubs they work out of.

The cheapest clinicas in Sao Paulo and Rio are generally 250-300 r, with most being 400 r + after room. Prepagos are 600 r and up, with the more attractive ones starting at 800 r ($150). Girls in top clubs usually start at 1000 r ($190). In my experience Colombia has definitely been cheaper.

I usually go to the clubs which ends up being about $300-400 after a session with drinks, room and girl. Can you point where to go to get the girls for 400 r. Rio and Sao Paola specifically. Thanks.

Yea not sure what Mr. Don Carlos is talking about, Brasil is much cheaper, GFE is the default, as well as DATY / natural oral. Absolutely go to Brazil over Colombia, I would have gone back but it's a longer flight and the visa seemed like a hassle (I'm sure it's not). Centro casas are 100 reais ($20) for an hour, and much better quality of service. Granted, IME it's much more dangerous but I've never had a bad experience in months of Rio or SP. Photoprepagos sucks in both countries (fotoacompanhantes in Brasil).

Santa Fe has been amazing, default for an average looking girl is 65 k including the room (pieza), good looking is 80 k including room. Prices still more or less the same as 3-4 years ago. Some will ask for 80 k +15 k for room, I rarely pay that even though it's just like $4 more LOL on principal. Obviously trying to hustle me on my accent, locals don't pay that.

Wow. Just the opposite of me. I have never been in a prive in Rio that costs 400 reais ($76). I would not even know where to find one that expensive. And there is no separate room price. Maybe you are talking about a termas, which would be more comparable to strip club in Colombia. In a termas you can pay for different categories of rooms.

Casa= clinica / prive (least expensive): Straight to the room place open during the day time and locals usually go during a break in their workday; no entrance fee.

Strip club= termas (more expensive) festive atmosphere with bar area and maybe a stage for late afternoon and evenings after work; generally an entrance fee.
