Posts: 7745The Cmdr's experiences with Soi 6 girls
The Soi 6 girls I hang out with are not interested in food at all after their shift. They be buying bottles. I've seen it and I've done it. I also have several of them in my rotation that visit me after their shifts.
Full Disclaimer: I only know a few bar girls out of the hundreds that work on Soi 6. In no way should this be consider a comprehensive statement about what Soi 6 Bar Girls do in general after their shift.

Posts: 449It's the same hotel, it takes up the entire length of the Soi. One of the biggest pools in Pattaya. Nice rooms and the bathrooms are as big as some hotel rooms LOL.

Posts: 18757I got my dad a room there for 1 night a couple of years ago. It seemed pretty bare bones to me. If you want a sauna just walk outside.

Posts: 62I've stayed at the Queen Vic many times. Rooms facing the front are very noisy, it's difficult to sleep before the bars close, but there's only a little noise if you ask for a room in the back.

Posts: 62A Baht bus ride was 10 baht when I first moved to Pattaya in 2004, an increase is overdue.

I am 2 weeks away from my trip starting in Pattaya. I have watched walking tour until my eyes are bleeding for both Pattaya and BKK.
I will be staying neat Candy Club so Beach Road is not really close. But.
I just watched a new video and the girls were everywhere and 1 out 5 I would have been interested in. In other videos I also hear expats say never pick up a girl from the beach.
How is it any different than TF Candy Club or Tree Town?
Another thing I find interesting is. There will be guys in front of the camera talking to girls one after another. Are they usually being cheap Charlie or have demanding requirements? Doubt there is enough time to get to the finer details of an exchange. Yet. Have respect for the guys using abundance to their advantage.
Myself I value GFE experiences more than anything and before that hanging out for drinks and / or listening to live music. LT. Am I better off sticking to TF, Agogos, Candy Club / Tree Town, massage girls after hours or see if any luck on Beach Rd?
Again thanks for the patience and replies.
I promise a day by day detailed report from both cities.

Posts: 1702Here is Confirmation as of this week to what Binky posted.
Not a major increase but unlikely it will come down and become permanent.

Posts: 5459The single ladies all end up in host bars sooner or later. There are an amazing number of bars for Thai women.

Posts: 6804Guess Soi 6 girls differ from gogo girls. Gogo girls go to AYCE BBQ. Maybe cause Soi 6 girls are pigging out through their shift and busy gogo girls haven't eaten since 8 pm.

Posts: 185I think Queen Vic is the only 'hotel' that's directly on 6, but I can't imagine it being very quiet. There are a couple of hotels on soi 5 if you want something very close. I stayed at Best Beach Villa on my last trip and that was within stumbling distance of 6.

Posts: 298Upstairs Accommodation Options on Soi 6?
There are rooms-with-bath but none are listed on accommodation sites, apart from the dreary Queen Vic Pub.
Can anyone kindly point me towards some of the better options? I am not referring to short-time rooms with just a mattress.

Posts: 611Baht Bus Fare Now 15 Baht?
Rode the baht bus about 9:00 pm On April 12 down Second Road from the Runway night market to the Central Mall next door to the Hilton. The window separating the driver from the passengers had a sign saying the fare was 15 baht.

TRIGGER WARNING FOR ALL YOU CHEAP CHARLIES: My personal practice is to pay 20 baht when riding the bus. The extra 10 baht is meaningless to me, but it's double the traditional fare, and what the locals pay. The baht bus drivers work hard, especially when traffic is snarled by high season crowds or (currently) by Songkran water wars. They provide a valuable and reliable service worthy of our support.
