You'll never find any Uzbek or Kazakh girl in a gogo. Unless you're talking about a place like the Russian cabaret on the Walking Street.

In a gogo you'll find only Thai and possibly very few Lao girls.

I usually leave Pattaya 3 hours before my flight and it takes 1 hour 15 minutes to get there.

I respond to this post to THANK YOU Mr. E for the invaluable advice you gave me by PMs before my visit to Bangkok and Pattaya. My first time, everything to learn, a new world in front of me to explore and understand before being capable to enjoy fully.

So, I start with the bad: I DID NOT KNOW there is such stupid thing as Songkran. I left my Bangkok hotel near Nana with a Grab car at 16:15 of 19 April, last day of Songkran. I reached my hotel in Central Pattaya around 21:30. More than FIVE HOURS, the last three of them to do the last 5 km.

To depict how stupid is this thing, or better how stupid it has become, I just say that usually massage places have a line of ladies calling people inside. On the night of 19, while I was on the car, I saw many massage shops with their ladies on the door, dressed with their uniforms, repelling people away with water guns, like swat teams attacking terrorists.

I felt so stupid for not having read news in advance. I should have stayed one more night in Bangkok and move to Pattaya on the 20. So, once checked in, I excluded the idea of going out and be fully wet just to explore the streets. I slept until 1 am and I ventured out prudently only at that time. There was still people with water guns, but I limited the damage (I protected my cell phone and wallet in pockets with plastic bags). I did not have any girl, but at least I explored the surroundings up to Walking Street.

The following night, I discovered a completely different Pattaya :-D

On my return, I did not want to miss my flight just to be too tight on time: I booked a Grab at 7:15am (girl left my room at 5) for a flight departing at 12:05. The drive took just 1h30.

Do Soi 6 providers generally request the use of barrier prophylaxis?

The default will be yes but you will find some that won't. The bars may have rules that affect the decision too.

I would think the taller, good-looking stars are high-risk, while the average, plain-Noi doesn't get much business, owing to competition and being low-season now.

The Soi 6 girls I hang out with are not interested in food at all after their shift. They be buying bottles. I've seen it and I've done it. I also have several of them in my rotation that visit me after their shifts.

Full Disclaimer: I only know a few bar girls out of the hundreds that work on Soi 6. In no way should this be consider a comprehensive statement about what Soi 6 Bar Girls do in general after their shift.

6/1 also has hotels at each end.

It's the same hotel, it takes up the entire length of the Soi. One of the biggest pools in Pattaya. Nice rooms and the bathrooms are as big as some hotel rooms LOL.

Anyone used P Plus lately, any info / tips? I see they have a sauna.

I got my dad a room there for 1 night a couple of years ago. It seemed pretty bare bones to me. If you want a sauna just walk outside.

I think Queen Vic is the only 'hotel' that's directly on 6, but I can't imagine it being very quiet. There are a couple of hotels on soi 5 if you want something very close. I stayed at Best Beach Villa on my last trip and that was within stumbling distance of 6.

I've stayed at the Queen Vic many times. Rooms facing the front are very noisy, it's difficult to sleep before the bars close, but there's only a little noise if you ask for a room in the back.

A Baht bus ride was 10 baht when I first moved to Pattaya in 2004, an increase is overdue.

I am 2 weeks away from my trip starting in Pattaya. I have watched walking tour until my eyes are bleeding for both Pattaya and BKK.

I will be staying neat Candy Club so Beach Road is not really close. But.

I just watched a new video and the girls were everywhere and 1 out 5 I would have been interested in. In other videos I also hear expats say never pick up a girl from the beach.

How is it any different than TF Candy Club or Tree Town?

Another thing I find interesting is. There will be guys in front of the camera talking to girls one after another. Are they usually being cheap Charlie or have demanding requirements? Doubt there is enough time to get to the finer details of an exchange. Yet. Have respect for the guys using abundance to their advantage.

Myself I value GFE experiences more than anything and before that hanging out for drinks and / or listening to live music. LT. Am I better off sticking to TF, Agogos, Candy Club / Tree Town, massage girls after hours or see if any luck on Beach Rd?

Rode the baht bus about 9:00 pm On April 12 down Second Road from the Runway night market to the Central Mall next door to the Hilton. The window separating the driver from the passengers had a sign saying the fare was 15 baht.

The single ladies all end up in host bars sooner or later. There are an amazing number of bars for Thai women.

They love to brag about how much they spent to the other ladies.
