I am not worried about being out and about, its that scopolamine crap. I am not even worried about the girls ripping me off, I Just don't want to die. I know all the safety tips, watch your drink, 24 security at a hotel and cameras, anything valuable in a safe, just be with one girl etc. BUT, I know I will want to bring a girl back to my place for a few hours or overnight. I feel once you do that there are so many ways for them to scope you. Even as simple as hanging out in my room and me dozing off. Any great ideas on getting through this or am I just way overthinking this and being a big pussy?

First of all, forget about scopolamine. That is a misnomer for the most part. They are using benzodiazepines and zolpidem, which are sedatives, to drug people. In every case of these druggings, the victim was drinking. If you do not drink around them then there is zero chance that they can drug you, because they slip the drug into your drink. So instead of being worried about watching your drink, just don't drink at all. And a great big red flag will be them trying their damndest to get you to have a drink.

If you are really that scared, afraid and terrified, why would you even consider having a chica over while you sleep? Why don't you just spend the day with them and then send them home at night before you turn in or if you see them at night send them home before you sleep. There's no rule that says they have to spend the night, especially when she is a stranger to you and you don't know her. If you want to see them again, just pick up where you left off the next day or on another day. Negotiate your terms and be firm. You have the money, you have the power. If they don't like it then move on to the next one.

It is generally safer or the odds are less because Cartagena is smaller and less population, but don't do tinder and watch your drinks. It all depends on where you meet them. Something that might help, but not a deterrent is to book a hotel or airbnb with tight security where thy register the girl and take a copy of the ID. Security can tell when IDs are fake. Don't wear jewelry and don't flash your money.
You can do a round of reckon and get a feel of the vibe in the walled city. I met 2 different mongers where we hunt in packs after having a couple of drinks at a bar. The main is still phone snatching and jewelry as well.

If its your first trip to Colombia, especially Cartagena, make sure to read my reports. I list my mistakes, the scams, the places to avoid, and where you can find the majority things most people are looking for.

Cartagena is Hot and has a Beach as well as a nice Old City to go to at night. Medellin is temperate, no beach but interesting sites in and around the City. Both are Great. Chicas are Chicas; but some think that the most beautiful ones are in Medellin. Its all subjective. Can't go wrong whichever place you pick.

I can tell you the average looking girl are different between the 2 places, but you'd find girls from everywhere in both places of course. You'd find paisas in MDE while Costenas in CTG. I met a bro from NYC in CTG who didn't like MDE much because he wasn't into paisa girls much, he preferred Afro-Colombians and morenas.

I'd say go with the tourist mindset as immigration would ask you the purpose of your business and where you'd be staying (I'd suggest you have activities booked).

Long time I not been to CTG, I used to go to Dolce Vitc, where can I go now? Is delirium located next to pley club like marked on google maps?

To fill you in.

Dolce is now Santa Cattleya, next to multi floor Exito. Lots of plastic and high prices for mediocre performance.

Delirium was moved to El Bosque next to Pley Club. Desolate area, ubers don't like to pick up from there late and the taxis will rip you off if you have to get back to the tourist area.

Space Club was moved and is next to Delirium in El Bosque. Same as above.

Bronx Afrohouse is now Pretexto. Same owner as Delirium and chicas are there as well who rotate between Pretexto and Delirium via the free shuttle.

Euphoria is now Fusion. Same owner as Vibe and chicas are there as well but the problem with these 2 places is you will encounter loudmouth, wide back, ghetto black American Women just like Monkey Bar. So only go there if that is your type of crowd you want to be around.

Brothels, strip clubs, etc probably are the same in both places but what I want to evaluate from safety perspective is walking down old city in Cartagena and pickup some cuties at night or doing the same in Parque ill. In Medellin. Unfortunately, Medellin has been in news for lots of tourist mishaps. Can the experts here suggest where to go for my upcoming trip?

I have been to Medellin dozens of times but have not been to Cartagena yet. The housing and guest situation I have found that problematic. There are many places that strictly forbid guests. There are many places like that Medellin but I have been able to do a workaround.

I flew a 18 year old beach chica from Cartagena to Medellin. It costed more but she was fine as fuck!
