Posts: 611Starting Off on the Right Foot
During my recent 80-day holiday I spent quite a bit of time in the gentleman's clubs. I often had the same experience as Khun Garden when I asked one of the girls to join me for a drink: surprise and delight. Naturally I figured the girls were chuffed because I am such a hansum man. ;-) But I suspect the truth is they sit around for hours on end waiting for somebody to walk in the door. Moreover, in those GCs where the girls approach unbidden they probably get knocked back again and again. When a gent arrives and singles them out it's just human nature to be pleased.

Quickly offered to buy a lady drink. Let the girls take the lead during the pregame warmup with regard to kissing, clothing and the handsy stuff. In the rare case where I made the real time call to tap out, I did so with a rueful smile and a couple hundred baht in hand, then changed bars so the girl wouldn't lose face. If we did take it to next level, I got what I came for without pressuring or embarrassing the girl, and cheerfully paid her asking price.
We talk about the girls' amazing ability to remember customers, and how they share information via the Coconut Telegraph. I theorize that goes double when it comes to GCs, especially those that are clustered in one area like Soi Boomerang or Soi Bong Koch 8. If the girls are going to talk about me behind my back, I'd like them to speak well.

Posts: 197And still I was turned away last night when I saw a huge screen in the first bar in Treetown showing Champion league live. They asked me what I wanted and I said "watch football" and they said "no have maybe you can try the next bar". Well I went to the bar across. Ended up playing bar games and buying ladydrinks to girls and forgot football.

Posts: 13Lessons learned from a 65 year old
Guys,
I'm in Pattaya at the moment for two weeks and I leave Sunday sadly. I told a friend I'm in a low grade euphoria almost all the time.
I've had:
1) Massage with boom boom or blow job.
2) Gentlemen's club with boom boom.
3) Thai friendly.
4) In call massage.
5) Sat in several GoGos on WS to admire the talent.
I've spent too much time in TF but friggen amazed by the platform and the interest. I shake my head every time.
But the big lesson (it's seems super obvious now) is that while 21 year olds TF likes you, I'm old enough to be their grandad. The action I received with older women (32+) is waaaay better. More connections. More kissing. More girlfriend experience. Just saying. Also the gentlemen's club I went to was pretty quiet and I found a little chubby girl with big boobs that seemed surprised I wanted her vs the others. I thought she was cute and she gave me a stellar performance overall!

Posts: 18757Shocked why? Everybody knows there is a glut of bars, massage shops, weed shops, tattoo shops, etcetera here. The only thing that shocks me is that people keep throwing their money away on that bullshit. Grand opening; grand closing.

One quirk: Soi 6 will be okay, due to its dependence on Korean whales. That's a long term problem, not a 3 month killer.

Posts: 112A layer of annoyance is better than nothing
Yes but it's better to let the riff raff know somehow they're not welcome. If you read the article, it's even stated Thailand economy depends on tourism, so they can't go hard on it either,. They wouldn't have to change rules all the time if westerners behaved like they ask in their home countries, so adding that layer of annoyance for them is better than nothing. You can still lie that you practice muay Thai and get your extension indeed.

Pattaya has been 3 months away from a meltdown for 50 years.

Posts: 5459I give Pattaya 3 more months before the meltdown happens. Too many bars, and too many massage shops for a tiny number of customers. By the end of August, tons of bars will be for sale or closed. Of course, landlords will increase rent to make up the difference.
In the meantime, Pattaya will be a mongering paradise, with so many broke ladies.
It's always the case, but moreso now, that the ladies are divided into 2 groups, those with foreign sponsors, and those without. Sponsored ladies can throw money around and be picky about customers.
When ladies come to my condo, they always talk about how crazy sponsors are. The lonely guys who insist on talking for an hour every day, and check their location constantly.

Posts: 3442Drinks, should be no surprise whatsoever! Whether it is Soi,6,7,8. Or pothole these owners farangs are all interlink in some manner shape and form, High rollers was doing this years back reason I stopped going only went because the manager and mamasan were from Bacarra pre-covid.
At times it is about more money than brains. Reason the market is so bad, but let the strongest survive and then?

To me Soi 6 works because you are interested in the girl you see on the street or in the bar. Make sure before you step into the bar that you ask the girl if they Bar Fine or do short time in the bar. That way you don't waste money on Lady Drinks for her. Also, you can just walk into a bar and order a drink for yourself and chill without buying a Lady Drink for any of the girls.
No, is your power! The ability to get up and go to another bar in Soi 6 is your super power.
