Why do you continue to lie about everything. You aren't fooling anybody just showing your true character. Why would anyone believe you about your life in France when you lie about everything else? Only a fool would believe one of your posts but I guess you think there are other fools here.

Posts: 4832There is more than one problem in the USA and I think it was the Christian base in the Republican party more than any other subgroup that yelled the loudest against the war. Usually the wackiest political groups call for censorship and when the Fundamentalists were at their peak that is what they were doing. That the left has taken on censorship now shows that they are even whackier than the Christian fundamentalists. That the CFS fipped for Trump despite his being thriced married and a yankee to me showed new found flexibility that they had not exhibited before.

I know about that fundamentalist view of Jews as the chosen people and the resurrection of Jesus was a reason fundamentalist Christians signed on to W's second war in Iraq. Like with so many things these days, I first heard about the resurrection from a comedian and did a double take, "What? That is why the war is going to happen? Jesus makes his return?
For all Tooms and the dumb Dems and their bellyaching, there are huge limits on what a president can do. The one huge difference between Trump and the Dems was the Dems never met a war that they did not like, and Trump knows that most wars are losers. If the fundamentlists wanted a war for the resurrection of Jesus, they should have voted for someone other than Trump.

The dogma of dumb Dems like yourself is that Trump is scum, the absolute worst. He sucks as a businessman. The war was a complete failure. His supporters are stupid, and Kamala Harris would have been way better, oh and Biden, who could not walk or talk was way better too. Yeah, Biden was so fucking good he got yanked by the ballot.

I give Trump a the- for his action with this war. He was right about the SOH being shut down not affecting things too much despite the rants of Dems. And the other thing is he knew he had a losing hand and folded. I admire a president who made a mistake and changes a course while you people with TDS make fun of him with the TACO moniker. Do you fools want this war to continue? That is why you people with TDS are so pathetic. You all have no vision. It is all whatever Trump is doing is wrong, and that is so lazy and pathetic.
But the mistakes were huge. He was totally suckered by Netanyahu. He thought Iran would be taken down as easily as Venezuela was. And when I said the performance of the American military was abysmal, that is on Trump as Commander and Chief. He is in charge of the military not the generals. Then there was the endless drivel of how we have won then we are going to bomb Iran back to the stone age and then we have a peace deal and then we do not. For a guy who wrote the Art of the Deal, he should know that you are not going to get a deal if the other side thinks you cannot keep your word. It seemed like the stock market got to the point of just not listening to him any longer.
But yeah to someone like yourself who thinks everything Trump does is a F including how he is as a businessman then yeah, I could see how you could say that I am spinning things. In your screwed up head, even one compliment with regards to Trump is spinning things. What cracks me up is how you TDS fools keep going on about Trump after you lost. There is not one second of self reflection that maybe you are in the wrong. No, in your mind, everyone who voted for Trump is an idiot.

Posts: 7971You just contradicted the one number Trump got right.
Which war did Kennedy / Johnson get America into?

And which also puts the start of Eisenhower's Vietnam War and America's full and total commitment to fighting it by word, deed and Treaty after Eisenhower replaced the retreating French military with our own at several years before Kennedy ran for President.
Have you got a different calender for the start of the Vietnam War, Eisenhower replacing the retreating French military with our own, him signing on to the SEATO military commitment to that War and the election of Kennedy as President that contradicts every credible historian and history book timeline for that War?
If so, please cite the source, provide the link and quote the passage where a credible historian claims Kennedy / Johnson "got us into the Vietnam War."
Oh, BTW, I don't believe the younger, more virulently hardline anti-America Islamic Revolutionary Guard regime in Iran, the country of Lebanon or Netanyahu recognize the current ceasefire so Iran can shore up their military readiness as a "Peace Deal" or anything like the end of Trump's War in Iran.
Do you honestly believe those people are now forgiving and forgetting the thousands of Iranian adults and hundreds of Iranian children Trump mass murdered on a whim based on his lie and for no reason after they had been proven to be in full compliance of a much stricter anti nuke deal than anything Trump will ever negotiate?
What has already been leaked out about Trump's unconditional surrender to Iran, if it is the final word on it and probably on orders to him by the oil industry, is a total disaster for America going forward.

Yes, you're right Tiny, Christian fundamentalists are as big or, arguably, even bigger an issue than zionists. After all, 60% of jews look unfavourably on Israel's actions- the other 40% who do however favour Israel in conjunction with right wingers, neo cons, and general racists, are having serious detrimental influence on American foreign policy and it's only right that it should be questioned and raised. It's very interesting that in the US a lot of those who were deemed far right are now cynical about Israel, whereas the right wing remains highly favourable towards Israel; in the UK and Europe the far right however and the right remain looking very favourably towards Israel, see the marches by far right activist Tommy Robinson where there are many Israel flags.

Posts: 7971A swing and a miss. Again.
I don't recall any of them leaving office with 3 million fewer jobs in the economy than when they started, adding Trillions to the deficit with zero to show for it and starting a counterproductive quagmire War of Choice in the Middle East based on their own lie.

You do know that Trump still ranks below each and every one of those presidents, nevermind the nominees, as dead last by non partisan and bipartisan historians, right?
Historians rank Trump worst president in history, Lincoln the best

That was before he was the nominee in 2024.

Anybody who did watch that video rather than pulling stuff put of his ass about Biden saw that Joe Biden did indeed drive his own car at the end of the episode.

Trump would not have known there is such a thing as a stick shift manual transmission, how to drive such a car, which country manufactured that Corvette or which auto manufacturer built it.
The only numbers Trump would have come up with for the questions and topics Leno brought up would be utterly unrelated lies about how many millions more votes he got in 2020 than Biden and how many "hundreds of thousands" of American soldiers died in the Vietnam War.
Yes, that is how disconnected from reality Trump is compared to Biden. Even today.

Posts: 27098I don't plan to come to live in USA, I m not like retired Americans who come to live in France for our free healthcare and I much prefer to live in so beautiful France with great way of life, much more culture and better foods, prettier women. Worldcup in USA is a mistake for who likes this football, degrading this game, when You know this game I started to play when I was 7 , when too big lack of knowledge in USA. Not once, but falling asleep almost every day, when he is too old and sick fat. I hope he won t sleep today, to understand what is France culture if he is able, when his megalomania will never compete with beauties of France. He seems so proud to be invited in Versailles castle, but not a king.

Posts: 27098You really believe what You write here? When so blind, when nothing changed in Iran, nothing, just a failure for USA which just made messe in economics and inflation. Trump wants to stop war he made because of big inflation and mid terms coming, when he lost this war, but hope not for mid terms, when more than 60% Americans are against his politics. Real figures and 4,2% inflation in USA now. You should think: Am I in majority or minority? When You live in US society.

Posts: 2560I enjoyed reading that, all the way through the EV's. That's an interesting slant on Trump's travails in Iran. I think he made a mistake getting out of Obama's JCPOA. You're right though, in the end he didn't get us into a forever war, like George W Bush and Kennedy / Johnson. The loss of American life was minimal. The cost, $100 billion, was peanuts in a sea of wasteful government spending.

Posts: 2560You need to quit giving me layups. How about James Buchanan, Franklin Pierce, Andrew Johnson, George McClellan, and Horario Seymour? Trump had no record in public office before 2016, but anyone with a brain would have known those guys were going to fuck up.

Agree or disagree with Elvis, his posts are often thought provoking.

The difference apparently is that the Iranians believe the Mahdi will soon return with Jesus at his side to destroy the Great Satan (USA) and Israel. And the fundamentalists believe Jesus is returning soon to destroy the Muslims.
Trump got taken in by Netanyahu. I think he realizes that now.

Posts: 2560Actually Tooms, Trump's business practices were the reason I would NOT vote for him, in 2016 or subsequently. I merely pointed out that some voters, including several friends, thought Trump's "take no prisoners" philosophy in business would translate well to the roll of Leader of the Free World.
