Posts: 1738The area itself is safe, you can walk day and night without any problems. Moreover it has been renovated recently with municipality's effort. Risso Mall is nearby (cinema, fast food etc). There are couple of discos and casinos as well. So, nothing should happen. But it's still an area of turf war between locals and Venezuelans with occasional excesses, like what happened last year. Now, its closer to other chongos in the North (in the walking distance for avid walker like myself), but don't do that, take a cab.

Posts: 478Most people seem to recommend staying in Miraflores as the go-to base for hotels, but I chose this area / hotel because of its strategic location for street action when I'm not visiting Chongos. I could be wrong since this is my first visit, let me know if I'm out of my mind to stay here. From what I've seen in videos and Google maps, the area has a few nightclubs, a shopping mall, supermarkets, and currency exchange services. The hotel also has good reviews and a restaurant right next door. Another thing I noticed is that this area seems to have one of the strongest police presences which adds a sense of security.

Posts: 1738Why would you stay in a place known to police that was raided on multiple occasions in the past?

Posts: 1738Absolutely. Risso is better but its not a designated area. The talent is doubtful though.

I booked at Hotel Quadrum for five nights. It is near Jr Risso in Lince. It says it caters to business executives and has good reviews.

There are no good hotels near Jiron Zepita, Puente Nuevo, Ceres Medio, Plaza Norte or Ate. There are few nice Airbnb in those area. Best bet to save time is to stay at Airbnb.

Posts: 478Jr Risso Lince, Jiron Zepita
I found a few videos showing the street action around Jiron Zepita and Jr. Risso. I'm usually not a big fan of SW because of safety and quality, but the areas seem to have a great talent. Has anyone ventured out in these areas?

I'm planning my first trip to Lima from July 26 to July 31 and have a few questions:
1. Fiestas Patrias (July 28–29): Since these are Peru's two national holidays, are chongos, bars, night clubs, restaurants, and shopping malls generally open, closed, or operating with limited hours during those two days?
2. Hotel Location: Most travel recommendations suggest staying in Miraflores. Is there a particular reason for this? Since I plan to spend time at chongos such as Las Sirenitas, red light areas such as Jiron Zepita, Risso, would it make more sense to stay closer to that area rather than commuting an hour each way from Miraflores? Are there safety or convenience concerns with staying nearby?
3. GFE / DFK: A few reports suggested that DFK could not be had. I've traveled extensively in Colombia, Brazil, Mexico, El Salvador, SEA countries and I've generally found that more than half the girls are open to DFK with extra tips. Is it unreasonable to expect the same in Lima or simply a cultural difference where girls are less receptive to GFE / DFK?

Posts: 171You call this a report? How much did you pay? What was the name of the girl / girl? What restrictions did they have? Etc. You sound like a shill promoting Jockey. Were you ever in Peru?

I want to write a quick, long overdue report. I first looked into Lima early 2025 and made my first trip in May 2025. I looked through the forum and saw few of Jockeys posts so I messaged him and set a meet with one of his friend. I was instantly hooked we hung out for a few hours, drank some booze, talked, listened to some music, and ended the night perfectly. It was time and money well spent and since then I have made regular trips to Lima and every time I hit up Jockey. I can't praise him enough I never had a bad experience with any of his friends they all showed me a good time and it was never rushed. Some even were down to go out to the clubs and get wasted LOL I can't recommend jockey enough.

Posts: 231You guessed right. Some will do light pecks on the cheek and they're good for the most part with touching (after you have sprayed your hand with their sanitizing spray) but yeah in the chongos no GFE or DFK happening. The 2 girls I had back at the hotel though were good with it at the hotel even though in the chongo they don't offer it.

Thanks for the detailed report. Looking forward to a trip there to the chongos to try out all the types of chicks I was hesitant about without worrying about budget. I'm guessing with how low the prices DFK / GFE is probably out of the question unless you are bringing them back to the hotel through WhatsApp.
