HOPS Brewhouse, on Beach Road. Seafood spaghetti but they also have good pizza. What I like about this place is they make their own brew, which I've developed a taste for. Lager here, but they also brew a wheat beer.

If you find yourself in Central Mall. Food Court 5th Floor closest to the movie theater: Oishi Ramen Highly recommended if you like that sort of food. Extensive menu. Combo specials, attentive staff. I liked the food. But I like Ramen.

Oishi has good, healthy food, but I'd like to recommend the 250 g Nebraska Tenderloin at Patrick's in the Kiss Arcade, 1250 baht.

I happen to think my man has a point. 300 THB is 7. 90 Euro; 500 is 13.17 Euro. The difference is 200 so 5. 27 Euro. The take way from Pokler's post for me is that maybe if you have flown half way around the world on your vacation then maybe you shouldn't be concerned with spending 5. 27 Euros more to get what it is you want. Of course 200 THB will get you a 1 hour foot massage. If you budget is tight then you need to pay attention to such things.

Sure, a few hundred baht may not be a big deal for most of us. However, I think becoming numb to an extra few hundred baht here and there is a mistake. In fact, it can be downright dangerous. What is not important is the prices themselves. What is important is sharing them in order to build a base of knowledge that can be referred to later. There are individuals who claim to get long time for 1200 THB. I've never paid less than 1500. I will be in Pattaya for one night only and am trying to decide where to stay. I am thinking near Soi 6 or Walking Street. I'm not a party all night type guy and I am mainly going to see a few of the sites while partaking in our favorite activity in the early evening. From what I've read, Soi 6 area seems more like what I am looking for (preferably street walker that can come back to my hotel, do our thing, and leave). Any recommendations on places or areas to stay would be appreciated.

On my last trip I stayed at Best Beach Villa. It's well within stumbling distance of beach road, soi 6, and the market. No problems with guests. Could hardly hear the noise from soi 6, even from a south-facing room (it's on soi 5). I didn't use their gym or pool, but breakfast was decent if you want an egg and meat.

My brother please do not confuse my reporting of amounts quoted and actually paid with caring about the numbers. I don't. If someone cannot afford the difference between 300 - 500 baht, I have no dog in that fight. I am just reporting what I know about the current market. Things can always change. But usually prices go up, not down.

An India man made a social media post complaining about the requirement to have 20,000 baht on-hand when entering Thailand, he claims that many India people enjoy their entire 2-week Thai vacation without spending 20,000 baht. To many people, 300 versus 500 baht makes a big difference.

It's OK to wonder. All opinions should be welcome. I wonder why individuals who are visiting are trying to tell us that Pier 21 is a the best food option in Pattaya, when those who are posted up in here or even have more knowledge from visiting know it's not true. On the other hand, individual tastes vary. So, if some think Pier 21 is the best I have no problem with that. They have the eat the food there not I. If they like it then I am happy for them. I think the: The Airplane Food court next to Soi 6 is better than Pier 21.

Are the prices for things dirt cheap in Pattaya, Thailand after you factor in: 1. Cost of the airline ticket 2. Cost of the hotel room 3. Cost of food.

Yes, I was shocked myself as standard rates are between 700-800 but gave in as I found the lady good enough. Have been regular in Wood Bar in Bangkok so aware of the rates. Have only ventured in Soi Bongkot BJ Bars / GCs till now. Will explore other areas as well. Thanks.
