Expensive doesn't always mean better.

I have spent the past 2 nights at Nana. Barfines quoted in most places was *B1000 and the girls seemed to want *B4000 or *B5000 for short time. On two separate occasions the girl cut her price to *B3000 without me negotiating. This occurred midweek when the bars were slow. One of the girls was a Twisters beauty and I accepted her offer. Even though I got the discount her service at my hotel was first rate. This proves to me once again that paying more doesn't guarantee better service. I got my money's worth and then some. But then again, I am a handsome man. That's what she told me.

I thought Twisters, Billboard, Butterflies, Red Dragon had the best lineup (in no particular order) midweek this visit.

One way of avoiding that inconvenience is to negotiate a different price with the girl.

In most of the big bars, the ST or LT rate is set in advance by the girls and the mamas, and the girls are not "allowed" to be barfined for lower rates. So if you can manage to negotiate her rate down in private, she will most likely accept to be paid directly in the room instead of paying the whole fee in the bar, because she wouldn't want other people to see what she agreed to.

That's going to happen only if the girl trust the customer anyway, because these practice of asking the whole payment upfront are a way for them to be sure that the girl will be paid for her service. Too many cheapskates trying to pull a fast one on the girls have made them much more cautious these days.

They tried that in billboard on me once. The girl put them straight. Never had it in other places.

A poster said that he paid a mamasan 4400 baht to take a dancer from Crazy House. Paid in advance. Is this a way of biz only for that bar? Or is it also practiced in other bars? I'd never heard of such a thing before and I certainly would NEVER consent to that arrangement. Never!

Sure, I've had mamasan's present me with a "menu" stating a price for barfine and a lady. The barfines were in line with the going rate among the top tier joints. However, the fee for the dancer was always at least 25% to 50% higher than the norm. I'dj ust laugh and wave them off; ignore such nonsense. I'd go ahead and pay the barfine and give the dancer the "going rate". I was never turned down by a dancer for a repeat session a few days later.

A couple of reasons I would never pay in advance: 1.) The mamasan is probably taking a good piece of the down payment. (Taking what the provider should get.) 2.) Dancers have barfine quotas they must meet to get their full salary. I suspect that after the barfine is paid and as soon as they get to a hotel, some do a "runner"; return to the bar to get another sucker. No recourse available. A punter can always go back to the bar and complain, but I think most of us have an idea how that will be handled.

I was going to try it but decided to give it a miss after basically seeing nothing but poor reviews not only on this site but from other 'men's' sites, do a bit of googling.

All say basically the same negative things and they can send you different girls to those advertised and also it's down to whatever mood they are in. Sometimes they fight with each other evenly according to some reports LOL.

There was a common theme is the reviews from numerous different people and we all know most reviews are the opposite (overly hyped, good and clearly fake).
