Posts: 7970We in Thailand are carrying the load for economically struggling Trumpistan
You're welcome.
Just letting you know we in Thailand are doing our best to pick up the slack from the American working men and women consumers' affordability crisis in this 2nd term Trump Slump economy in order to keep a revered American conglomerate afloat during these difficult times.
PepsiCo earnings miss estimates as North American consumers tighten their budgets
https://www.cnbc.com/2026/07/09/peps...ndroidappshare
Perhaps Biden or Harris would have passed a bi-partisan Snacks & Beverages Act over the past 18 months to stimulate beleaguered American conglomerates' business outlook and have them roaring along as one of the few bright spots in the USA economy and stock market as they did for the American CHIPS & Science industries, if only that tiny handful of angry Muslims in the only 3 swings states that mattered hadn't delivered every winning Electoral College vote for Trump in one of the closest races in history.PepsiCo reported weaker-than-expected quarterly earnings.
The companys revenue topped Wall Streets estimates, boosted by strong international demand for its snacks and drinks.
Pepsi reiterated its full-year forecast.
PepsiCo on Thursday reported mixed quarterly results as the struggles of its North American food and beverage divisions offset strong international demand.
Results were tempered in the quarter as U.S. food and beverage category performance moderated with consumer budgets tightening due to rising inflationary pressures, CEO Ramon Laguarta said in prepared remarks shared on the companys website on Thursday.
During Pepsi's second quarter, global oil prices swung dramatically due to the U.S. war with Iran. In the U.S., the national average gas price hit a four-year high of $4.56 per gallon in late May, leading many shoppers to watch their spending.
Oh well.
We in Thailand are still trying to help you guys.

Posts: 7745The entire economic system in the Dis United States is rigged
The Dis United States of America is a Plutocracy
A plutocracy is a society or system of government where power is concentrated in the hands of the wealthy. Derived from the Greek words ploutos (wealth) and kratos (power), it operates as a form of oligarchy where financial influence, rather than democratic majority, directs political decisions and policy-making.
Key Characteristics and Mechanisms
Disproportionate Influence: Wealthy individuals, corporations, and interest groups shape political landscapes through lobbying, campaign contributions, and media control.
Policy Priorities: Governments in plutocratic systems tend to prioritize policies that benefit the affluent such as deregulation and tax cuts for high-income earnerswhich can inadvertently worsen economic inequality.
Barriers to Entry: When holding office or participating in the political process requires immense personal wealth or backing from the rich, lower-income groups are often entirely marginalized
Yep, that is the Dis United States of America that I grew up in. Don't get me wrong. I managed to get crumbs from the system that allow me to eat each month. So, I benefit from it. But like a good umpire I call it the way I see it.
In other words, the Stock Market of the Dis United States of America is rigged.I know that sounds crazy, but the stock market has gone from a place where investors actually own part of a company and have a say in their management, to a market designed to enrich insiders by allowing them to sell shares they buy cheaply through options. Companies continuously issue new shares to their managers without asking their existing shareholders. Those managers then leak that stock to the market a little at a time. It's unlimited dilution of existing shareholders' stakes, death by a thousand dilutive cuts. If that isn't a scam, I don't know what is. Individual shareholders have nothing but the chance to sell it to the next sucker. A mutual fund buys one million shares of a company with your and your coworkers' money. You own 1 percent of the company. Six weeks later you own less, and all that money went to insiders, not to the company. And no one asked your permission, and you didn't know you got diluted or by how much till 90 days after the fact if that soon.
Is this news?
Yet, we have people who have a problem with those who challenge the system because they are getting noting out of it. How is it possible to love capitalism when you are in a capitalist system but do not benefit? People confuse political systems with economic ones. Calling the current capitalistic system in the Dis United States of America rigged and wanting to try something else does not make you unpatriotic. It does not make you a communist. Here is an example of someone using a word they do not understand:
A communist is a person who supports or believes in communism. Communism is a political and economic system where everything is owned by the public or the community rather than by private individuals. In a communist society, there is no private property, no social classes, and no money. Wealth is divided among citizens equally or according to individual need.

Socialism is an economic and political philosophy advocating for collective or public ownership of the means of production, rather than private ownership. Its primary goal is to reduce economic inequality by distributing wealth and resources based on human need rather than profit.
I have been called a Socialist.
He called me this while I owned stock in AAPL and NVDA. ROTFLMAO!. He didn't back it up with anything. Never explained himself. So ask yourselves if this individual is credible?

Posts: 27098Please, keep Trump for you and far from my France, when he was so proud at Versailles, when he dreams to have a Arc de Triomphe. I really wonder where you live, in a petrol hole in deep Texas for cow boys, when you are so disconnected from reality, ignoring 60% Americans, not 50%, and most US artists, disagree with your Trump who failed in Ukraine, who made a problem and still for Ormuz pass, when was no problem before he started his war, but still mollahs, nothing changed in Iran, but now worse situation for world economics after, when not finished yet, than before he attacked Iran which never attacked USA, same than Ukraine never attacked Russia, what I call losing when worse situation for the world and even Americans paying inflation, than before attacking. I look forward knowing for your 8 Trump peace, when I like to learn every day. Facts are: failure when still war in Ukraine, robbering Venezuela petrol, threatening Greenland who claim they don t want to be Americans, threatening Cuba, Germany, Spain, Gaza. I don t hate Americans, I don t care about republicans or democrats when I don t live in USA, when I much prefer my good life in my beloved France, but I hate Trump for kind of man he is, for his manners, behavior, schizophrenic actions, when he impact my job linked to world economics and create inflation in whole world and 4% in USA, don t You also know this? Americans pay his tax and inflation, and if I don t hate them, I find them low cleverness, ignorant for most, not understanding Trump is a danger for our world where USA are only less than 5% population on earth. No peace as he promised to be re elected, but more wars than before he returned and pollution he ignored as a old senile, making heat, tornados, hurricanes, disasters, killing so many. I think for most of our world, he is the worst president of USA and never king of the world, but just a senile old megaloman making messe everywhere like a bad child parents are not able to control and educate. But he gives so bad, shameful image of USA, when I think Americans should deserve much better, cleverer, less ignorant, than him. I wish mid terms will kick him out, with all his lies and bullshits, when he fucked deeply most Americans who don t interest him, when he is their president.

Posts: 7970Does 1% equal Everybody in MAGA Math?
Hey, it turns out I might still be firmly within the 1% of Americans profiting from the one bright spot in Trump's economy. Imagine that? And all the way over here in Thailand. My goodness gracious, by what mystical magical process is that possible?
Well, it's the one less dim and weak spot in Trump's otherwise dismal economy but for the hard work and heavy lifting done by Biden, Harris and the Dems in Congress previously, that is. Clearly, the data, charts, graphs, all evidence show there is nothing remarkable about the USA Stock Market gains under Trump than they were under Biden, the historical average or certainly not compared to most Democrats over the past 100 years. Someone who has no money invested in the USA Stock Market or has not even heard of the USA Stock Market could win the argument against any MAGA claiming there is something remarkable about the gains in it over the past 18 months vs the gains in the previous 18 months just by doing a simple Google Search.
Especially when you factor in the disastrous market conditions outgoing Repubs generally hand incoming Dems vs the historically positive conditions outgoing Dems hand incoming Repubs. And particularly in the case of Donald Trump who not only benefitted from that 100 years long pattern but has also added Trillions to his deficits in order to jack up the stock market while things that do not interest him like private-sector job gains, wage gains, housing and rent costs along with general affordability for the other 99% go to the wayside.
Trump says 'everybody's profiting' from market gains but its mostly the 1%
https://www.cnbc.com/2026/07/02/trum...ndroidappshare
BTW, let's hear from the MAGAs here dumb enough to believe the Billions of Dollars Trump and his Crime Family got put into their pockets from domestic and foreign bribes, bailouts and emoluments were the result of their brilliant USA Stock Market investments over the past 18 months. Lololol. When asked about his lucrative stock portfolio, President Donald Trump told reporters: You know why Im profiting? Because the stock markets going up, everybodys profiting.
But not everybody is sharing in the markets upside.
The top 1% own about 50% of corporate equities and mutual fund shares, according to the most recent Federal Reserve data. The bottom 50% of households collectively hold just 1% of that stock and mutual fund wealth.

I have posted full substantiation for how Trump ushered in Trump's Pandemic many, many times here. Including Trump's own admission that the whole thing would never have become a Pandemic in the first place and would have been stopped "easily" if only somebody had told us about those initial cases discovered in those labs "two months earlier", the sole reason that didn't happen being because he defunded and removed the people who were stationed there precisely for that purpose months earlier.

Inflation was high under Biden because of 2 years of collapsed global supply-chains followed by the release of pent up demand during the historic Biden-Harris / Dem recovery from Trump's Pandemic.
Yes. Trump's Pandemic.
Trump was more responsible than any other person on the planet for allowing an otherwise manageable epidemic confined to one region of China (until a vaccine could be invented and administered) to develop into the deadly, worldwide Pandemic it became, along with all of the global supply-chain collapses, massive jobs destruction, business, school and travel venue closures and the unavoidable skyrocketing inflation during the recovery that followed.
Here is Trump in a March 2020 interview describing the different outcome the world would have enjoyed if only someone in China had alerted us to the initial Covid cases two months earlier:
https://www.yahoo.com/news/bob-woodw...BaEvSqCX5GQcgc". .they should've let it be known it was a problem two months earlier. The world wouldn't have a problem. We could have stopped it easily. "
And here is the only reason no responsible officials were in China and in those labs "two months earler" to do the very thing everyone except Donald Trump knew should not be left to the Chinese to admit and alert anyone about:
Trump says China "should have told us" about coronavirus. He removed the official meant to do that.
A US epidemiologist was embedded with the Chinese CDC. The Trump administration discontinued the position.
https://www.vox.com/policy-and-polit...dc-embed-quick
Exclusive: USA Slashed CDC staff inside China prior to coronavirus outbreak.
https://www.reuters.com/article/worl...idUSKBN21C3NE/
The conclusion is blatantly and inarguably obvious; if you wanted to avoid the Covid-19 Pandemic, avert the millions of deaths, millions of lost jobs, the school and business closures as well as the skyrocketing global inflation that followed, America should have elected Hillary Clinton for President in 2016.

Do you seriously believe I "made up" the S&P 500 Index graph and the DJIA graph I posted right there clearly showing equal if not better gains in the USA Stock Market under Biden in the years before Trump took office vs since Trump took office in order to make Trump look bad?

Uh. That would be after he claimed the USA obliterated the Iran Navy and Airforce, they have nothing left, of course.
Really. I'm curious to know just how far your Trump Derangement goes.

Posts: 4832You have rocks in your head. Inflation under Biden was Trump's fault? Oh boy. I don't want to hear your bullshit about some government officials who were cut and could have miraculously ended the pandemic. What specific action could Trump have undertaken to stop Covid spreading from China? Right now, you blame Trump for everything, and you seem to have missed the point that more people died in 2021 under Biden than in 2020 under Trump.

Quite frankly, your posts are ludicrous as everyone knows. At this point, if Trump did not write his mean tweets, the whole world would have been saved. This is classic TDS, and the worst part of it is this type of TDS led to lawfare and the assassination attempts. You cannot say Trump is responsible for the pandemic and then curse the assassination attempts. If Trump really were responsible, then killing him was justified.

Democrats are getting closer every day to supporting communism and most communists hate America. They cheer against the USA soccer team, burn the American flag, support terrorism and Iran. And they admit it on live television every day. Democrats hate everything Trump does that is great for America. But they hate America but won't move to another country because deep down they know it is much worse than USA.

Posts: 1298You have nothing vested in the Stock Market
You obviously have nothing invested in the USA markets or you wouldn't say lies like this. On 18 months of Trump markets I made more than 4 years of Biden. If you didn't see these results you either had the dumbest financial advisor or took your money out of the market like many stupid democrats did when Trump was elected. Pulling fake statistics and fake don't make you look smarter. You have nothing invested in the markets so Trump wins are not helping you. That is a fact.

Which war did Trump lose. He hasn't started any wars and stopped about 8 wars. Your hate for Trump and hate of America does not allow you make up lies. I think you should be more worried about France government. They have pretty much ruined your country but we don't criticize your leader every day. Save your bitching and complaining for your French friends. France would be a hell of a lot better if Trump was your leader so jealousy will get you nowhere.

When Trump lost first war, but the crazy return to make war with Iran. He didn't understand yet, with his few neurons still working. Americans should have more inflation from their crazy. At least, 300 billions to save, no need to give to mollahs when he wanted, as result of his very expensive war.

Repubs and Bothsider / Neithersiders LOVE it when their guys get their way and the USA economy is stagnant or crashing, Trillions are added to the deficits with zero to show for it, private-sector jobs creation and therefore wage growth are pathetically weak and the cherry on top is when the country is plunged into still another quagmire, counterproductive Repub War of Choice based on a Repub lie.

And it ain't going to be the Repubs who created the colossal mess of everything or a nobody third party waste of space. Nope, 100 years of history has shown it will be Dems and only Dems who will pull us out of the colossal mess of everything Repubs have created while they scratch their pea-brained heads wondering why oh why aren't Dems as happy about the colossal mess of everything they created as they are.

Yes, Einstein, we all know worldwide economies crashed due to Trump's 2019 decisions ushering in Trump's Pandemic.

Yeah, the worldwide economic crash part of Trump's Pandemic was when Trump and dumb Repub hillbilly MAGAs continue to crow about how cheap everything was when nobody was going anywhere or doing anything and, gee, the rate of inflation was near zero and we could all buy gas cheaper because the streets, highways, businesses and schools were closed and millions of jobs were being wiped out even faster than Americans were dropping dead from it or, worse, lingering for weeks in private hospital rooms occupying all the facilities and staff time and effort just to keep their fat ass old MAGA selves alive a few more days.
But, see, and try to grasp the nuance here; there would have been no need for a recovery from Trump's Pandemic and all of the higher rates of inflation alllll l around the world that followed if Trump had not ushered in Trump's Pandemic in the first place by defunding and removing the highly effective Pandemic Prevention and Response teams leadership from those Chinese labs researching and studying coronaviruses in 2019 contrary to all expert warnings for him not to do something so dangerous and stupid.
Which he did only because it was another resoundingly successful program organized and developed by Barack Obama.
