I might get down to Koh Samui to visit a fellow colleague (I'm a professional sound designer / musician) and then back to Bangkok for the remainder of the trip.

Main questions for now are about the first Bangkok part. I've booked an AirBnB on Sukhumvit 13 - it's very close to the KBBQ Sukhumvit Barbecue restaurant (right across the alley).

Is an AirBnB better or worse than a hotel for bringing company back to play with?

I've seen a few posts about girls not wanting to come over unless you are at a hotel for safety reasons I guess?

I did experience some problems a couple of weeks ago with a few girls but it was in the end the minority rather than the majority of cases. I stayed in a serviced Condo. Also you can always book another hotel cheap near by if you think a particular girl is worth it.
