Being a foreigner is an advantage for a lot of Thai women, whether that's because of novelty, perceived status, language, or simply preference. It doesn't guarantee success, but it absolutely changes the equation for some people.

There are plenty of ordinary-looking foreigners who do noticeably better in Thailand than they did at home, just as there are some who don't. Pretending foreign advantage doesn't exist seems just as unrealistic as pretending every Thai woman wants a foreigner.

I'the say the truth is somewhere in the middle. Your own fundamentals still matter, but Thailand can absolutely improve some men's dating prospects compared with their home country.

Lastly, I would not consider "coffee and chill" 'paying up' as you'd take a woman anywhere int he world on a date before fucking her lol

I lived in Thailand (not Bangkok) before, and after living here I think it's fairly easy for me most us to quickly make a fairly accurate guess regarding what is a regular couple, and what is not. Especially when
the "not" is your average run of the mill bargil.

E.g. today I was running in Benchakitti and of the one or two handful of farang/thai couples I saw, I would only think one of the girls were a ho. I think in Benchakitti and similar places, that's pretty
normal ratio.

In terminal 21, the ratio is quite different, and I see many farangs with their 'ho in tow. At least 3/10 are 'hos I'd guess, though I'm not spending a lot of time in terminal 21, so could be more.

Regarding meeting regular girls, it's like in the west, but on the 1-10 scale, if you're white and normal looking, you can add a point or two for yourself. E.g. today walking towards Benchakitti park up Suk. 21, I saw a rather tall and pretty girl standing outside some large building. My favorite burger in BKK is 25 Degrees Burger inside the Pullman G Hotel. Some swear by Shake Shack (USA chain) at Central World but I'm not a fan. I'm still looking for a good burger in Pattaya.

The burger at 25 Degrees is good. Also the one at Jim's Burger, various locations around BKk. But for lower cost, good value, good beef burger flavor and easy access in the Soi Cowboy / Nana Plaza area of Sukhumvit, the next time you are in Bangkok check out the Smash and Grab Burger in the SW1 Night Market on Sukhumvut at Soi 12, open from 4 pm until Midnight every night. It is my go-to for a good burger fix these days. There is another outlet in the W District collection of eateries near bts Phra Khanong.

Do any of you know why there is a farang surcharge in most places in Thailand. I'm not just talking about pfp. Pretty much anywhere prices aren't posted.

If you think it's because they think you're from a wealthy country and can afford it or your member is too big, you are dead wrong. It's because farangs (meaning almost anybody on the planet other than Koreans and Japanese) are demanding sometimes (very) specific acts and ruining the experience asking for guarantees of x or why. Couple of points, as "freebies" are my main game over here.

How long will you stay? If you're only here for a short holiday, then forget it. It takes time, money, and effort to be successful with the "freebies".

This is a really rough result given that you are willing to pay fairly. As you have rightly said before, Thermae is THE freelancer spot if you are looking for one-and-done sex in the bag in the 2500 bhat range.
