I take the Bell Transport bus and van combo. It was 372 yesterday to get from BKK to the door of my hotel in Pattaya. The only thing is you are riding a bus. Then at North Pattaya bus station there is an immediate transfer to a van that leaves within about 5 minutes and goes to the door of where you are staying. The 372 included one checked bag over 20 kg (brought some dive gear). It's not quite the same as a private car but the difference in comfort and convenience is minimal. The whole transfer took 2 hours and 10 minutes.

Going to Bangkok I take the bus. When I come into the country I go downstairs to see if a bus is leaving. If not, then I go to the 4th floor and get a taxi that has dropped someone off. Most of the time that I go to the airport, it is outside of bus hours.

The top bars generally have customers. The difference in low and high season is with more guys in town the lesser bar will get the overflow and also be busy. I prefer low season as chicks are more willing to accept my price.

I'll give a couple of examples of what I just experienced. One night at Baccara on WS I was the ONLY guy among 60 girls. Even the 95 baht beer couldn't draw guys in. Another night at Pin Up there was maybe 10 guys and over 100 girls. Bars empty with guys yes. Empty with girls. NOPE. On a different night Pin Up is full to capacity. I'll add to Sub's statement not only is it venue dependent, it is night dependent. I go in low season cause I like the girl: guy ratio. I don't have to inhale all that smoke.

And the ratio will be even better when I go next month. They allow smoking in bars? Huge negative for me.

The price for a private taxi from Pattaya to Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK) generally starts from 1,000 THB to 1,199 THB, depending on the vehicle type and service provider. Key pricing variations include: Kim Pattaya Taxi: Starts at 1,000 THB for a Toyota Camry (1-3 pax). Pattaya Transfer: Starts at 1,199 THB for a standard sedan. Thai Happy Taxi: Ranges from 1,150 THB (Standard Sedan) to 1,350 THB (Deluxe Sedan). Larger Groups: Minibuses or larger vans can cost between 1,500 THB and 2,300 THB.

Prices are typically fixed for door-to-door transfers, covering tolls and parking fees.

Since when does paying for a service within a market range (1000 THB - 2300 THB) constitute getting ripped off. 1000 THB = 25.99 Euro 1400 THB = 36.38 Euro. Jomtien Bus Station to BKK via Bus is 151 THB = 3. 92 Euro.

I have taken a Deluxe Sedan, A mini bus and Large Bus before. There are so many ways to get to BKK from Pattaya at many different price points. All methods got me to the BKK.

I have been using the same Transport Service since I first arrived in Pattaya. I have found them to be consistently reliable and I know the owner of the service. Personally, I am glad I do not have watch every baht I choose to spend. I choose to spend more on a service that I know and trust. I know there are lesser priced services out there but I do not know them. I'll stick with the service I know and has never let me down no matter when or where I have needed to go somewhere.

I see bars that are empty. I see bars that are packed. The Bus Bar is always jumping when I go past it. Gentleman's clubs can be quite lively on the weekends and even during the week. During the World Cup, there were times I could not even get a seat in my favorite place like the nest. I was just in Heaven Above and Club Fate. Nether venue lacked customers.

Low season is venue dependent!

The Cmdr takes advantage of Low Season and makes low offers to girls who probably wouldn't pay any attention to me during High Season. I pay no attention to what the next person might pay. I pay what I want to pay. I have been posted up here more than a minute. My minimum offer for short time is 1000 and I don't exceed 2000. Pussy is Pussy! I like low season. Less visitors to Pattaya makes things more pleasant for me.

What I like most about Kink is that it is wide open up in that place. The girls may not be the most attractive that you would find in a Top Tier Agogo but they are SO nasty. For 15 k baht you can pretty much walk up to any girl in Pattaya to get multiple shots for 4 hours of work. In fact, they will keep bugging you forever after to repeat.

For tourists, your best bet are the gogo bars on Walking Street. That's where a tourist can find the find the largest number of girls in a small area. I can list the top gogo bars I visited for you right away if you are coming to Pattaya in the next week or so. If not, then wait for my report. If you're not coming for a month or two my information will be outdated. Even top Gogo bars are not consistent on a night to night basis. Girls switch clubs, go home, have whale in town, aren't on schedule, etc.

For reference on who you are competing against on the Pin Up chalk board it lists the biggest spender at Pin Up in one night and the amount was a staggering 747k baht (22k USD)!

As Sub mentioned, soapies are another option to find some nice girls. If you haven't experienced one give it a shot.
