It did used to be like that, though. 20 to 25 years ago, my attractiveness, my outgoing nature, and my foreignness (is that a real word? ), especially my foreignness, made it very easy for me to pick up girls in countries like Brazil and Chile and elsewhere. Girls interested in romance and adventure, not in getting paid for their time / bodies. Normal girls openly flirting, catcalling me on the street, and giving doggy-dinner-bowl-look just from hearing my accent. Especially in small towns, but even in big cities like Rio too. It really did feel like foreigners who had at least a little bit of game were God's gift to women in these places.

It feels like times have changed now, and foreigners are no longer seen as so exotic as before in most places. A combination of overexposure to tourists and expats, overexposure to the outside world through social media, and more materialistic mindsets.

Same for me up to 20-25 years ago. But we all get old and youth generally correlates with attractiveness. I can't pick up hot-looking young women in the USA Anymore, so I'm not going to be able to do it in Colombia or Brazil.

When I first started traveling to Medellin and visiting strip clubs, I would get as many numbers as possible. I would call the girls, and they'd always return my calls. I always had a girl from Fase Dos and an Instagram model on call. It was never a problem; for 700,000 pesos, I could get girls to stay at my house for six or seven hours and do whatever I wanted. Even the Instagram models—like the famous one with the bow-tie tattoos on the back of her legs—would come to my Airbnb anytime I called. She'd be there within an hour and stay for at least six hours.

​Every time I touched down in Medellin, I had a stripper or an Instagram model at my place all week long, every single day.

​But after actually moving to Medellin, learning the culture, and getting immersed in my neighborhood, I realized I'd rather just be in my local area than rent an Airbnb and host Instagram models or strippers from Fase Dos. After living here, I realized the strip clubs and the dancers just aren't my cup of tea. Agreed. At the strip clubs you can ask a waiter / staff for 2000 pesos bills. I exchange a 50 mil every time I go to one. They'll probably cut you a little short and give you 20 two mill pesos instead of 25 to keep the rest and they'll still ask you for a tip for doing it smh.

​I haven't been to Centro in a while, but what I can tell you about my neighborhood is that there are more young girls under age 20 who are pregnant than I have ever seen. It's almost unbelievable to see just how many of them are pregnant. Then again, like I said in a previous post, many of these young ladies' mothers go to Centro at 8:00 am And don't return until 4:00 pm That gives them nearly 8 hours of unsupervised time to do whatever with whomever.

​Sometimes I walk around the neighborhood and patronize some of the local businesses just to exercise and see what's going on, but I can tell you there are more pregnant girls and women in this neighborhood than I've ever seen in the last eight years—and I've lived here for five or six years now. But we know in videos like some guy on the street who does not even speak Spanish is showing chicks walking by in club clothes and he goes up to get her number saying how easy it was, that those are prostitutes, while some other guy that has never been anywhere thinks his luck will be the same. Then they show up confused about why the chick would be asking for money and they do not want to pay.

What I hear from the girls is that many guys don't want to pay at all. There's nothing that irritates me more than people with substantial means who are cheap. To pay someone an extra $50 or $100 is not going to put you out.

​I actually liked seeing the girls arrive in Centro. I absolutely loved seeing new Venezuelans come to the park each week and each month—that is why I fell in love with Centro. Once I got my roster together, got my bearings straight, and realized just how cheap lodging was in Colombia, I knew this is where I wanted to be. Therefore, I slowed down long enough to purchase a home. That is the exact reason I bought a place: because I wanted to visit Medellin as often as I possibly could.

​So, don't fool yourself into thinking I don't have the financial means to go to any area of Medellin. No one is going to overcharge me in El Poblado simply because I don't speak Spanish—I speak it fluently, blend in with the locals, and get along with everyone in my neighborhood. That type of environment just isn't for me. I feel like people who frequent El Poblado are simply being overcharged because they don't speak the language or because they are addicted to places like Gustos and the club scene, which is the complete opposite of who I am.

​I will tell you again, since you don't seem to comprehend what I'm saying: I live in a house with four women who work in Parque Lleras. I am not going to give them 400,000 to 600,000 pesos to have sex with them when I live with them—especially when they can barely afford 600,000 pesos each month for a room with cable and Wi-Fi.

​So, there you have it. It's not that I don't have the money to go to Parque Lleras; I bought a house in Medellin, so I clearly have the money. It's just not my cup of tea. I don't want to be in the club scene or walking around the park after midnight trying to pick up girls. I'd much rather do that during the daytime in an environment I know well.

Here is a tip for anyone who likes women between the ages of 32 and 42: most of the Venezuelan immigrants in my neighborhood usually head to El Centro to start work around 8:00 am And return around 4:00 pm If you are looking for a wholesome woman to date, you should visit El Centro between those hours. You'll find many of the local mothers there early in the day. I know this for a fact because I live in the neighborhood and see them leave every day.

​As for me, the main challenge is finding a reason to leave the house. Most of the time, my excuse to step out is going to the meat store right across the street. Once I am out, many of my neighbors see that I've headed over there. Since the mothers have already left for work in El Centro, the neighborhood is mostly left with the younger residents. It is very easy to speak and interact with them since I've lived here for the last eight years.

​Here is a woman who is a bit older—23 years old—and she's quite attractive. If you have time to invest in a city like Medellin and are moving into the area, you can find whatever you're looking for at a great value. Stay vigilant. PN!
