4. I'm a short brown Asian guy but my Spanish is at the B2 level. I don't need Google Translate and can have a normal 30-minute conversation with any girl.

5. I don't drink alcohol or do drugs.

6. This was my 5th time in Medellin. I'm not a rookie.

Lesson #1 - Start the apps a day or two before you land. Anything longer than that is too long. The relationships and connections grow cold quickly, and the girls are looking either to meet that night or the next night.

Lesson #2 - Only issues I had with Tinder and Seeking girls were either asking too much or flaking. The plus side of Parque Lleras girls is that they're already there. You know how they look like in person and don't need to pay for their Uber.

Lesson #3 - With Tinder and Seeking girls, you take a small risk if the girl is using outdated photos and on top of that you have to pay for her Uber to your place and back to her place. Of the 7 dates I had from the apps, only had 1 where she was 50 pounds heavier than her photos. Everyone else looked like their photos for the most part. Next time I would want to do a video call first. This was probably why my numbers skewed more towards Parque Lleras girls. Just way easier logistically. Also didn't have any issues with druggings or anything like that. Maybe 3 or 4 times the girl brought out a pink bag of tussi to use herself.

Lesson #4 - The issue wasn't finding high-quality hot girls, the issue was trying to filter due to the insane volume of attractive girls and seeing who's reliable and who's worth it. Had around 114 Tinder matches in 2 weeks, 104 messages initiated by the girl on Seeking, and 36 Whatsapps gathered from girls at Parque Lleras I was interested in. I had to create a tier system in terms of who were the hottest, most reasonable rates, and provided all the services I wanted, and then go from there. I also had really positive experiences with at least 7 girls and repeated with 3 of them during my time. I plan to repeat with all 7 of them on my next trip and also already have a roster of other girls I didn't have a chance to meet with due to the time constraint.

Lesson #5 - Punctuality is also bad with these girls. Every girl showed up between 30 minutes to 1. 5 hours later than when I told them to get to my place. I told one girl to meet at my place at 7 pm, she sent me a message saying she's starting to get ready AT 7 PM. Immediately told her to cancel and just went with a girl already at Parque Lleras. For this, I would say if you want a girl at your place at 7 pm, tell her 6 pm or 530 pm and then plan for 7 pm and tell her to message you when she's on her way.

Lesson #6 - The apps and in-person at Parque Lleras was pretty much the same cost range. It was between 300 k - 450 k ($100-$150) an hour. The really hot ones I came across on the apps were asking between 500 k - 1 M ($160 - $320) fully covered. Talking with the girls in person, they were more flexible with extra services like BBFS or CIM but I spoke Spanish so that definitely helped smooth the transaction.

Lesson #7 - Two separate Airbnbs were worth it for me. I was able to sleep and work in a quieter area of Medellin and then when it came time for fun, booked an Airbnb in the loud Parque Lleras area where it was easy to take a girl back and not have to worry about a taxi or locking up and hiding valuables. Just need to make sure your Airbnb allows visitors and if you use a hotel, that they don't charge extra for visitors. I know the Charlee Hotel and Marquee hotel are the two nicest hotels along Parque Lleras but also charge an expensive visitor fee like $40 every time you try to bring someone back.

Lesson #8 - As mentioned by other guys before, you NEED to learn some Spanish. At least up to the B1 level. It just makes your quality of life overall so much better when traveling, not just with girls but at the restaurant, in the taxi, at immigration, etc. Seeing dudes go straight to pulling their phones out with Google Translate just looked ridiculous to me the nights I was at Parque Lleras. It paints you as an obvious easy target for the promoter guys trying to scam you in the clubs they're promoting, taxi guys overcharging you for trips, the girls overcharging you for services etc.

Overall takeaway.

Medellin offered substantially more options than I could realistically manage. The winning strategy was not maximizing the number of contacts. It was filtering for reliability, confirming expectations, protecting my time and safety, and maintaining enough discipline that the trip did not interfere with sleep, health, work, or finances.
