Posts: 86Are you familiar with Serenotel? A buddy stayed there and said very girl friendly, not noisy and good location.

Posts: 1468My Favorite Beach Rd Hotels
OK, my 2 favorite hotels on Beach Road are the Wave Hotel and the Avani.

The Avani used to be the Marriott and when it was the Marriott it was my favorite hotel in Pattaya bar none. It is walking distance to walking Street and LK Metro. It has a great pool / garden area and a 'secret" entrance to the beach which is very handy if you are coming back late at night with a girl. After present management took over the hotel from Marriott, they instituted an unfriendly guest policy and I stopped staying there. But I personally contacted the hotel a few days ago and their current policy is no fee for girl guests, although girls must register at the front desk (unless you bring them back thru the garden, 555). In addition, and here is the bad part, they want the girls out by noon and they expressly said no girls are allowed by the pool / garden (during the day). So, if you can live with that, book the Avani. If not book the Wave. The Wave is real nice!
My 3rd choice would be the girl friendly Holiday Inn. As I said in my previous post, this hotel is located at the far end of Beach Road. It's very quiet over there, but it is walking distance to Soi 6 and getting to Walking Street is easier than chewing gum, so you might want to consider this hotel as well especially if the price is right versus my 2 previous hotel recommendations.
*These 3 hotels all have balconies and serve pretty good breakfast buffets.

I have a 2 week stay in Pattaya, late Nov., early Dec. I want to stay at or near beach Road. Got 1 week booked at the Hol Inn. Want to try a diff place for week # 2. Hilton dropped their rates on Agoda from $300 to $200 so that is tempting. The Whitehouse is avail, Disc Beach is avail. Care to share what your fave is? The pools are not important to me. I like hanging at the beach in the afternoon & having a few belts at the beach bars late afternoon.

Posts: 487You can find them along Beach Road early in the evening or late at night after 2 am, but the quality and attitude can be hit or miss for that price point. However, with 2000 baht for ST and 4500 baht for LT, though, the pool of available options expands quite a bit.

Posts: 487The only Indian freelancers I have found outside India are in Singapore, Malaysia, Dubai and they mainly cater to people living there. Trust me, Indians visiting Pattaya generally wouldn't approach Indian freelancers after traveling all the way there for this.

Posts: 487I usually leave the bags at the hotel, then head out to get a nice 90 minute with manicure, pedicure (most massage places open as early as 10 am), have some tea, take a shower, and grab an early lunch. By the time you are back, the hotel will most likely be allowing you for check-in.

Posts: 147Hmm, I saw 2 women standing at the end near the walking street sign, then again at the end of my previous trip and I thought they are there always. My bad.

Arriving in Pattaya soon, again after the lockdown, I think I like low seasons or god sends me in low seasons only.
I will reach pattaya at 10 AM but check in is strictly at 2 PM, so have to wait. Anyone knows any good time pass to do in mean time? I am thinking to go to Honey 3 as my hotel is nearby that place. IS Honey 3 better than Honey 2? Will Honey 3 allow my laptop bag to be kept in locker room or some secure place?
How is Honey 2 or 3 in price and girls comparison?

Posts: 18757Never. Me and my cousin came upon some Nepalese chicks about 13 years ago, but I do not remember where I met them. Was definitely not on BR though.

Just out of curiosity, with all the Indians visiting Pattaya, are any female Indian freelancers working in Pattaya? I do see the women from North Africa are working.
Thanks.

Posts: 147Haha, yes it is my own reply there. But it is many months ago. I am arriving again in Pattaya in this month, but just want to know if Girl ST prices are the same. Do we still get the 10 to 15 girls sitting in a shop in LK metro area with 1500 Baht rate for ST?

This post belongs in the hotel thread, but I am posting it here in response to LBM's post.
The good ol' Holiday Inn. A few days ago I posted a fairly negative review on the Hilton essentially saying that despite its good location on Beach Rd and pretty good buffet breakfast, the hotel's swimming pool was designed so poorly for a hotel of this size and that's that its rooms were overpriced. Then I posted that IMHO there are better hotels for the money on Beach Rd, but I did not give any examples. Well now I am. The Holiday Inn is one of those better deal hotels I was alluding to. Located at the beginning of Beach Road, it is in a much quieter neighborhood than the Hilton, but it is walking distance to Soi 6. The buffet breakfasts are pretty good and they have 2 swimming pools. One is for adults and it is never overcrowded like the Hilton and the 2nd pool located on a different floor is for families with children. The rooms come with balconies and are very similar to the Hilton's rooms and almost as nice. So, taking all that in consideration (the good and the bad) plus the fact that a Holliday Inn room is significantly (up to 40%) less money I can recommend it although it is not my favorite Beach Road hotel.
