What was so good about it, Bunky? The OP did not name one specific bar he supposedly went to. Unless I am missing something, the report was vague and overly general. "The Nana Plaza is a three stories building with around 40 different strip clubs with around 1,000 working girls every night" 2. "Soi Cowboy. A street alley with 15 strip clubs. More or less the same as Nana Plaza. It's 20 minutes of walk. The prices are the same. You can try both".

No one and I mean no one is seeking historical information about hiring a prostitute before they begin their journey to engage in International Trickin activities. But I ask you brother: What level of arrogance is needed in order to not be a Thai Citizen, Not be a member the bar in Thailand to say that members of the bar in Thailand are wrong.

But the illegal thing that he is doing and the only part he can be arrested, charged, fined and sentenced for is exceeding the speed limit, not the smiling part.

I'm pretty sure every licensed driver in Thailand can smile and smile and smile in the Land of Smiles for every kilometer they drive and not worry for one minute that they are also doing something illegal as long as they are not also exceeding the speed limit or doing anything else clearly stated in Plain Language to be illegal in the Thai Penal Code, the Rules of the Road and any other legally enforceable Act in Thailand. And even then they will only be violating the speed limit part or whatever other illegal part of it they are doing and never for Smiling While Driving.

It's really no more complicated than that.

Now each and every International Trick Thailand can make their own decisions as to how to conduct their affairs.

He should ask the Thai attorneys in his office if they think Smiling While Driving is illegal / NOT legal in Thailand.

A plain language interpretation of the would be that if the driver is smiling while operating a vehicle in a manner the exceeds the speed limit. That driver is indeed doing something illegal.
