They always ask me how much and I always say you tell me. They will never say an amount though, so I think I usually make it 10% as well. If a customer was to ask me how much tip they should leave, then I would quickly come out with a big number.

But it is the same with chicks I go out with. I ask them where they would like to go, but they never say anything. If someone was to ask me then I would come out with Punta Cana, or the most expensive place in town that I had ever wanted to go. I guess chicks I date are really easy to please.

How did you come up with 10%? Whenever I am out with a Colombian chick and ask her how much tip to leave, she looks at me like a dear in headlights. They say how much ever you want. Then I pressure them and ask how much they would leave and they tell me an amount, I ask why that amount same as I am asking you. Nobody ever has an answer. Therefore, I am siding with your statement that locals rarely tip any amount. Getting the price for something then deciding to pay more is really a weird thing.

Not the mongering destination for me, but it would certainly be a cheaper venture than Chicas Energy LOL.
Yes, here is the lowest type you can find in Medellin, they are older, average, but also occasionally find some cute young ones from Venezuela you can take to one of the rooms upstairs. The first time I saw this area, getting out of Parque Berrio metro station, the Veracruz church bells ringing, Plaza Botero, bars, bakeries, restaurants, street food, shops surrounded by local guys, tourists, police, it was a quite an experience.

I had my carry-on luggage searched, my passport reviewed, had to take my shoes and socks off, and had security ask me a bunch of questions. I can't remember if they looked through my phone or not, I think they were just inspecting the device itself and my laptop, possibly for a bomb?.
Way back in the day, I used to only fly into Cartagena back when La Dolce Vita was in Laguito and wall to wall with hotties, anyway the airport was about a third of the size it is now and had low cielings and knotty pine wood paneling on the walls. When a single white guy went to exit they had tables as you entered your terminal and these tables were surrounded by federal police in there military style fatigues and M16 A2 rifles hanging at the ready by the shoulder strap. You put your bags on the table and they rifled through them and then pointed to this narrow flight of stairs that led up to a wooded door and you went up this steps and into the room and they had you stand on a conveyer belt type thing and ran you through an x-ray contraption.

Never need to tip just pay for service and any extras you want in the service. The paying for extras is her tip.

Chicas Energy Medellin. Estadio Spa Massage

Thanks to some great info here. Thanks guys. I booked a Laureles hotel and visited the Chicas Energy Spa.

I speak no Spanish. Which definitely makes things tricky. But am good at smiling and being friendly.

Walked in at 12:30 pm and had around a dozen hot chicks to choose from. It was a tough choice!

Paid 220 k for an hour with everything included. The room was nice and also very clean.

The service itself was fine. Not great, but not bad- but that's just the way it goes sometimes. You can't expect to click with every girl, particularly with a language barrier.

One thing that surprised me was she offered BB for an extra 300 k. I don't do BB, but that is a very hefty mark-up for anyone wanting it.

After the deed was done she asked for a tip. I only had 30 k on me, so that is what she got. I have no idea if that is a good tip or not. Any advice on tipping is appreciated.

Chicas Energy is a nice establishment with some hot girls to choose from. I'll try again on Monday and hopefully get one that is a little more wild.

Coming back this year, I wanted to test whether last time it was overpriced because it was too early or because it really is like that all the time. I went at 2 am and nothing really changed. Most of the girls are hanging out on Calle 10, not in the park itself. Standard price for CFS is 400/ HR. By my standards they're not worth that price. I saw a couple of current / former FB girls who have been working on FB for 6-7 years. I saw a girl who I saw at Centro a couple of days ago. They're dressed well, but when I interviewed them, almost all of them are single moms, so there's probably some baby damage hidden underneath those dresses. If you're an MDE vet, your existing roster is almost guaranteed to be better than what you can find there. If you're new, just go with Tinder or something. There's no good reason why an informed and prepared person would go to Lleras. As for BBFS, I had maybe 1 out of 6 who would consider it. The I proposed 400 and the girl wanted more, and she wasn't worth it.
The last two times I went to Medellin, I completely avoided Parque Lleras and still had a great time at casas and spas. Honestly, it's just not worth it anymore for me, haggle with prices, drinks, police, age verification, risk of scoped. Some of them also don't have Colombian IDs, which can make it difficult to bring them back to your hotel.

More than half of the girls working at El Centro are Venezuelans. Some of them would say yes upfront, but once you get to the room, they would change their mind and become very mechanical, making you feel like either they didn't understand what you agreed to or you didn't understand them, want to finish in 20 minutes and get out so they can go find another client. It's not the same as going to a casa or club, where you can discuss everything upfront and get what you negotiated for.

In my case below, I had an original connecting flight that was going to give me 2 hours to get through immigration, get my bag, recheck the bag at the dropoff, then get to the gate for my connecting flight. When the flight leaving Rio was delayed for an hour, that left me with an hour to get it all done, and it wasn't enough. I knew it wasn't going to be enough! When I'm booking my travel and I know I have to get through immigration before I can go to the gate for a connecting flight (plus pickup and drop luggage), I always try to find a connecting flight that's going to leave me at least 1 1/2 hours to do everything. Sometimes you can't find a connecting flight that will allow you that amount of time. But in my experience, very often you can.
When you go the movies do you talk back to the screen? I have been to Medellin dozens of times on most of the airlines that go there American, Avianca and JetBlue. When I was using American I had a few hours with connecting flights and could not make it on several occasions.

It does not take much for flight to get delayed such as weather and one instance a kid got sick on the plane and it had to be diverted. It happens going to MIA and FLL. The Fort Lauderdale airport when Spirit was around you would get stuck on the plane for 30 minutes or more before they would let you off. On arrivals the luggage is most certainly going to be checked before it is released to you.

On the way back you can't control the times for connecting flights. There's less leeway since it's later in the evening. In fact, on flight from SFO to FLL / MDE my flight was delayed 3 hours. I did not have a problem with that because I didn't want wait in the airport for 4 hours. Then when I got to FLL that flight was delayed 4 hours. I usually land in MDE about 2:30 pm but this time it wasn't until 7 pm.

If the airline allows you to schedule the connection then you should be able to make it. It's not good idea do multiple airlines unless first flight has worked out a connection or sharing a route. People were pissed in SFO but having worked in the airline industry when I was younger it's easy to get caught up with flight delays. If it has to do with weather than I won't trip over it. That's a safety issue.

My issue is airports have people working there acting like bounty hunters. I don't have the time or patience for that bullshit.

A good percentage of the El Centro girls will do BBFS but for double the price. Discuss it with them in person right up front, offer 100 k. If you just ask them if they will do it without an offer more of them will say no because most of the men they deal with are Colombian and they are not going to offer a propina for it. I also reiterate what I want via Whatsapp even though I speak Spanish because then I have written proof in case she reneges on something that was discussed.

Also when you guys throw amounts around like 250,300,400 etc. I assume that's pesos in the hundreds of thousands and not usd?
You can find girls through fb, dating sites, prepago sites or go to the park and talk to the girls. It is relatively easy to find girls in Medellin. The 250 is actually 250,000 pesos what is typically called 250 mil pesos. Some girls will ask for USD just make sure they understand you pay in pesos.

    Practical Matters

Mileroticos is just as good in Columbia as it is in Mexico. You have to screen but it works.

Most people here (and everywhere I went in Colombia) omit the last three digits of prices because you don't get much for 1000 pesos. Even a simple Arepa from a street vendor is going to be 2000. The COP is high against the dollar but you can still ballpark the conversion at 1000 COP = .25 USD.
