It's amazing how much better President Trump is when it comes to Hezbollah, Iran and foreign policy.
Notice how I'm talking about foreign policy.

Posts: 7970Piddling jobs report emboldens Trump to threaten worse results
This might be a good time to remind the typically pro Repub Mainstream Media that Joe Biden's economic policies and stewardship's average monthly jobs creation number was 345,000 to 350,000 and Obama's post inherited 2010 jobs-crashing Great Repub Recession average with every Russia Russia Russia-loving Repub in the House and the Senate doing everything they could to obstruct and delay a Dem recovery from their Great Repub Recession was 160,000 to 227,000 per month. See the A. I. Overview screenshots below.
U.S. added 162,000 jobs in August, but wage growth continues to lag inflation.
Revisions to June and July data boosted payrolls by 55,000, pointing to a labor market that is stronger than many economists believed.
https://www.nbcnews.com/business/eco...ion-rcna595974
As usual, if you have every reason to make a pathetically low estimate, even a piddling result vs one Dem and the bare minimum average for another will likely cause Repubs and their beloved electioneering partners in MSM doing backflips and cartwheels over it. Especially in an election year.
However, Trump being the classic Repub he is, he saw it as an opportunity to threaten even worse classic Repub results. LOL.
Trump Reacts to Jobs Data: 'Lower The Rate or Ill Stop Trading With Countries'
https://finance.yahoo.com/economy/po...150722321.html
Yep, he is still stuck on Super Stupid over the fact that countries with a fraction of the USA population are not buying as much stuff from the USA at a much higher labor and manufacturing cost as we buy from them at much lower labor and manufacturing cost. And he is demanding his Fed do everything it can to jack up his rate of inflation even more than it is exceeding USA wage growth already unless somebody does something about those trade deficits! LOL. Swear to god.

Posts: 7745The system is already biased towards White males serving in the officer corp
https://factually.co/fact-checks/mil...ry-2026-fe76afOverall active-duty officers are roughly 73% White and ~27% racial minority, compared to 32% minority among all active-duty members. Black service members make up about 21% of enlisted personnel but only 9% of officers.
Top US general urges greater racial diversity in military
https://apnews.com/article/race-and-...44dab756b614d1As an example of the failure to increase racial diversity, Milley said that when the current chief of staff of the Air Force, Gen. Charles Q. Brown, was commissioned as a second lieutenant in 1984, only 2% of Air Force pilots were Black. Today, Milley said, the Air Force pilot population remains 2% Black.

Donald Trump attended a Sinn Fin fundraising dinner in New York just months before the party's allies in the Provisional IRA ended its ceasefire with a massive terror attack in London's Canary Wharf district.
As controversy rages over the Republican presidential candidate's demand that Muslims be barred from the United States to prevent Islamist terror attacks, footage has emerged of the tycoon shaking hands with Sinn Fin president Gerry Adams.
..........
But less than four months later the PIRA ended its ceasefire with a huge bomb in London's Docklands on 9 February 1996. Two men working in a nearby newsagents were killed in the massive explosion, which caused 100 m in damage to the Canary Wharf / South Quay district.
On his way to the New York fundraiser a few months earlier, Trump would have seen a group of demonstrators protesting ongoing IRA violence, including victims of the 1993 Shankill bomb massacre in which 10 people died.

Posts: 1298Canada liberation day just destroyed Canada
Canada liberation day may end up being the worst thing that happened to Canada ever. Playing hardball with Trump was for political reasons only and has pretty much destroyed Canada economy. Alberta oil keeps Canada afloat and Trump cutting a deal with Venezuela could be the final blow to Canada. Socialist stupidity has pretty much destroyed Canada. Their unemployment is higher and their inflation is higher than USA and their economy is much worse.

Posts: 1298Correct but you forgot one thing
You are pretty much correct on everything especially about the great oil deal Trump made with Venezuela and that may really hurt Canada in the future if they do t change their leadership. But you failed to mention that Canada healthcare is terrible. Canada has no Canadian doctors but mostly Indian, South African and African doctors. Canada socialist healthcare is cheap and is great if you never get sick. Wait times for knee or hip replacement is 4-4.5 years. By then you are crippled. Cancer care is even worse. And you forgot to mention is that Canada even tariffs within their provinces not only USA. Canada messed up royally with playing hardball with Trump. They could have had and should have had 0 tariffs between USA and Canada. Canada is a mess and since their media is biased like CNN and MSNow most Canadians are duped. Not sure Canada can recover.

Posts: 7745The entire economy of the Dis United States of America is DEI for White Men!
The problem is the Secretary is incompetent and does not deserve to hold the position. And quite honestly neither is the current Joint Chief of Staff (white) who retired as a 3 star general only to return and place a black 4 star general in the same position.

So far this year Mr. Hegseth has removed at least 45 officers, selected by boards made up of peers, from promotion lists. More than half of those officers have been female or Black.

But hey ...if Canada wants to build oil and gas pipelines to nowhere (beyond the current ones), they should have at it!
But let's be perfectly clear, many on the left in Canada, still believe it a "fool's errand" and once again will be a waste of taxpayer's money to enrich fossil fuel billionaires, and those future pipelines to supposedly supply Asia, are a relatively futurist dead end, as the Global South pivots to clean energy and electrification.
Not only will the future Asian market NOT be there in the abundance, for Canada to sell it's fossil fuels, but it's high cost of production per barrel of oil, will precariously leave put in very uncompetitive grounds with low production costs from OPEC, UAE, the Saudis and the U.S.
In the infamous nonsensical MAGA words, of Sec. Of Energy Chris Wright, "...there is, no there's there" {...essentially saying this about climate change...}.
AND FOR GOOD MEASURE (...to make my point clear):
Coincidentally, according to many sources like Bloomberg NEF, China's oil demand probably just peaked, in 2025. Even the biggest oil producer in China, Sinopec, recently came out and declared this. Sinopec, China Oil Demand 'Very Likely' Peaked in 2025, Aug 24th, 2026. https://www.rigzone.com/news/wire/si...84444-article/.
So please tell me, as the EU and the Global South (India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Africa, Australia), follows China towards electrification, I wonder who these future Asian markets will be, that Canadian pipelines, are going to be selling their high-priced, fossil fuels to, ahead of the lowest cost producers like, OPEC or the UAE?

Posts: 7970I don't think Donnie's going to make it to that plus 1 private-sector job created
Not only does it become more and more likely that Repub Donald Trump will leave office after two terms, 8 miserable years, with his classic Repub economic policies and stewardship having failed to create one single net gain private-sector American job, but the even more depressing although hardly surprising fact is it is possible that all three most recent Repub presidents combined, through 20 horrific years of their classic Repub economic policies and stewardship, will not have created one single net gain private-sector American job.
And that's no joke. That is entirely possible.
Jobs Created During Presidential Terms:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jobs_c...idential_terms
Anyway, back to today.
Private payrolls rose by 38,000 in August, less than expected, ADP reports:
https://www.cnbc.com/2026/09/02/priv...ndroidappshare
Oh well.Private companies added 38,000 jobs in August, down from 46,000 and below the estimate for 47,000, for the slowest month since January, according to ADP.
Three categories accounted for most of the job growth: education and health services, leisure and hospitality and construction. Manufacturing saw a loss of 17,000 jobs.
The report comes ahead of the BLS nonfarm payrolls count, due out Friday.
We tried.
