BTW, on your investment recommendations, didn't you strongly recommend buying crypto on this website months or a couple of years ago? If I'm not mistaken I thought you did. If you did, what price was it then? Its trading at around 76,000 now.

If you say I said it then produce the quote. You can't. Just like you cannot produce a legal opinion from a member of the bar of Thailand that says prostitution is legal.

Crypto is a big category. Can any one produce a quote where I told somebody to make an investment in crypto? I think not. We have the 84 year old Warren Buffet clone counting my money. Warren Buffett does not invest in gold, viewing it as a "lousy investment" and a "do-nothing asset" because it produces no income, dividends, or utility. I have been meaning to try the place noted on Soi 5, they advertise best pizza, I remember the place will forward it, the Bella place I thought was okay But I've had much better pizza.

To me the best Italian place (pizza and all) is Mama Pasta on Arunotai where 7 is. I have been eating there for about 15 years. They just changed locations. Originally a lady named Nam owned it with her Italian husband. They moved to Italy and sold it to some Thai people. Nam and her husband came back last year and opened another restaurant right on the fork on the other end of the Bongkot gentlemen's clubs. Their old one that they sold to the Thai people is better than the new one that they opened. They have a 2 course special everyday for 200 baht. You can always find a bunch of Italians eating there.

Nope. Section 9 in the Act is about recruiters, not customers and the perfectly non criminal act of exchanging money for sex with a consenting adult age 18 or over in Thailand. See the screenshot of the pdf file below. And see the plain language words, "procures, seduces or takes away any person for the prostitution of such person".

That is just another prostitution-related activity for which there are laws forbidding and punishing it. The mere act of exchanging money for sex or sex for money among consenting adults not being one of them.

Don't you think Thai authorities know how to write plain language words like, "Exchanging money for sex or sex for money is a crime punishable by 5 baht and 1 minute incarceration in a police car" if that is what they meant to be a "catch all" law against prostitution in the Act or anywhere else in Thai law? Then they wouldn't need to go on and on in Section after Section or citation after citation making sure the prostitute who does the fucking and sucking in exchange for money gets all the money without some deadbeat boyfriend, pimp or recruiter / procurer getting a cut of it, the stuff about creating a commercial "prostitution establishment" and all that.

Latest example is how a 84 year old mother fuck that is comparing himself to Warren Buffet does not understand what is a unrealized profit and loss. You see if you buy at 2200, then sell at 5000 that is a realized profit. The fuck that does that pays tax on his gains. But if you bought at 2200 and are still holding at 4536 you are sitting on a unrealized gain that you have not paid tax on.

A quick search of Subcmdr and Gold in the General Information thread will reveal all that I have written on the subject of Thai Gold. Anyone who has actually read what I wrote will realize that I do not see my Thai Gold purchases as a investment. I would explain it but I doubt there are many International Tricks actually interested in the purpose that Thai Gold serves in the economy in Thailand.

Thanks that's the place, a friend back home I hadn't seen in 30 plus years came with my cousin he was all screwed up, wanted a place near the hospital, so I booked him there, I thought it was good, included a buffet breakfast. Sadly he spend more time at the International than the actually hotel, but easy access, no ambulance they just rolled the bed up to his room and got him LOL!

I laugh at how easily impressed some are over things that anyone can do at any point in their lives while they are in Pattaya. It's sad to individuals be living vicariously through the pictures and reports of others on this site. But when you are 84 years old and can't function anymore, bragging about gold sales and riding the dick of others because they finally posted a trip report with pictures is all you got left.

Entire Nova chain of hotels is near from Soi 6. Just couple of minutes of walk or bike ride. I prefer them.

This is not brain surgery. Goto Google Maps. Enter Hotels Close to Soi 6. A geographical map with prices come back. The closest hotel to Soi 6 is the Queen Victoria Inn. It is actually on Soi 6. You cannot get any closer to that. I've eaten at their restaurant. Nothing wrong with it. Just not one of my favorites.

I've had friends report they have stayed in excellent AirBnBs close to Soi 6. Never been something I'm interested in so I did not get the details from them.

The question was responded to in the proper manor by knowledgeable posters. I have no need to stay in hotels because I'm posted up here. When I decide to stay in Central Pattaya, I have a short list of Stabbin Cabins that work for me.

Bringing hoes to 5 star hotels is not my style. But if I was to pick my favorite luxury hotel near Nana Plaza I would say it is the SofTel. I have plenty of other Stabbin Cabins in Bangkok I prefer that sit right in the middle of the action.

your take on XS & Chick Go Go Club was very interesting in light of the fact that Chick is part of the Pin Up, XS, Atmos Group. The racial policies of XS that you allude to, however, is not due so "the allowed people should not feel awkward" but rather on the account of the behavior pattern of a few individuals who created a cheapness stereotype in the minds of the owners, and the girls. XS is a very popular bar, perhaps too popular. Anyway, space inside the bar is in high demand and limited supply so the owners can afford to cherry pick customers they believe will spend a lot of money on drinks and tips not customers whom they believe will take up space and spend the minimum on drinks. Everyone feels the pressure to consume when in these bars, yet XS Go Go remains popular because they have hot looking girls. Interestingly, I heard Atmos is closing down. A. H.
