I visit regularly in May and November. The rain has never bothered me; you still get plenty of time by the pool. One thing that can be a bit of a hassle is ordering taxis. It gets difficult when it rains, and you have to wait for a car since the motorbike taxis aren't running. It costs more then, too, though still very cheap by Western standards. As for visiting the clubs, the month doesn't matter at all—except during Ramadan.

About a month ago I asked this in an existing post in SMF, and I got very useful feedback, so it would be great to hear if anyone else can share their experiences:

I've been to Lokasari a few times and I really enjoyed some of those visits, the first time I found a stunning 22 years old cutie, tall and skinny. I really like V Four, this is one of the first few bars I started in Jakarta and also where I've taken most girls after Classic. The setup here is nice, they have two floors, upstairs from 4-8 pm, and downstairs with DJ dance floor after 8 pm. The girls are spread out in small groups, so it is much easier to look around and see who is there. At night, you will also see some freelancers besides bar girls, coming in to hang out and get picked up.

The other bars, New Sari Ayu, Mega Ayu, Royal, Laras Ayu, and MTR have everyone seated almost like rows of salmon, one right behind the other. It's hard to get a good look at the girls hiding and sitting farther back. I have taken a few girls from here when I was able to get a clear view.

Absolutely love this forum. Three or four responses inside a couple hours. You guys are legendary! Very interested in V Four now. I much prefer a club atmosphere to a sterile lineup.

I am an admitted Classic T2 lover. But want to try KI this round. Venues I have on the agenda based on the forum:

Once you get there, you will see they are all so close together that you can walk past all the venues in 3-4 minutes if you don't enter any of them. It's a small rectangular area.

In around 10 visits I can't say I've noticed any one bar having better quality than others myself. They all seem the same to me, so I wouldn't have an agenda myself. Some days the prettiest girl was in this bar, other days in that bar, so I just walk through them all until I find one I like, and then restart if I didn't find anyone.

Seating / viewing arrangements suck, but eventually I've gotten used to it, and it's become less of a problem than the first time, when I thought it really sucked compared to Classic.

I've had mostly good experiences at V Four at KI except for one time when I went into the room and got undressed, noticed that the girl was sneezing badly. I remembered somebody saying the spa here was actually a real spa with

It's now become a place I enjoy going to regularly, and I imagine one might even visit it for just the spa/massage, and not sex at t2/t5.

1) You go down to the reception and get a numbered bracelet, same as in T2/ T5. No need to say / select anything here.

2) Go inside, and a guy will show you to your locker and hand you a pair of shorts and flip-flops. Take of your shoes, put on the flip-flops, and go into one of the nearby locker rooms, changing into the shorts, then leaving your clothes in the locker before locking it.

3) Go further inside, to the sauna/pool area. Take a shower, then use the facilities if you like. The facilities are decent, and they have one-time usage shaving kits too (you will need to ask for that). If you like hot / cold / steam sauna / hot sauna, it's a nice way to relax (price if just spa: 120 k. Included if you pay for a massage or sex), and I've been enjoying it, though would prefer the hot water to be several degrees hotter. On the weekends, you may see quite a bit of Indonesian guys there, but on the weekdays I saw only a couple.

4) When ready for massage or sex, ask the pool reception for a new pair of shorts and robe to wear, take a shower, and change into the new shorts and robe. Then walk further inside to the massage / sex area.

There are two receptions in this area:

5a) The one nearest the benches where the girls are sitting on display, is where I think you select / register the girl for sex. Never tried any of them.

There are much fewer girls here than at T2, just 5-20 depending on the time / day as far as I've seen, and quality is no better IMO. I guess the attraction is that you can relax in the spa area, bang a girl, perhaps continue to relax, hang out with your friends if you are one of those that has that, etc. Perhaps I'll try sometimes, but so far, I've only been walking past them on the way to the regular massage.
Other than that, it's cheaper to go to T2/ T5, though the spa opens earlier, at 13:00 if I remember right.

5b) The other reception in the area is where you book the normal massage. You can't pick from a line-up, but if you know the number / name of someone, you can ask for them.

If you pick the 270k massage with male masseur, I think maybe you can get the massage in the pool/spa area, as I assume that was what was happening when I once saw an indonesian guy laying on one of the sunbeds while another dude in uniform was massaging his legs.

Some decent choices for the 400k massages with women are "Lilly", or number "69", but with the exception of one woman, who was also the prettiest one by far, all massages were good. The pretty girl with the bad massage was one of the few cases in my life where I did not tip for massage.

I mostly did the dry massage. Best to specify that in the reception (though one time the woman there did not pass it on to the massage woman, so had to stop her before she started putting on the oil), but hopefully all women working there can also do dry massage.

The dry massage is not like Thai massage, but if you like Thai massage I guess you will enjoy this too. Unlike the massages in Thailand, which distributes the time somewhat fairly between your front and back, all the massages I've had in Jakarta seem to spend most of the time on the back.

The normal massage is an oil massage, similar to other oil massages. I tried once just to see how it was.

After massaging the back for about an hour or a bit less, they will ask you to flip over on your back and she will massage you front a bit, then asking if you want "extra". They call it "therapeutic massage".

The price for this seems to be mostly fixed 300 k, and I was not offered a reduced price upon declining, but of course you can try. The price for this will be added to your bill as normal.

In total, I did that three times, but selecting to cum only one of them (no particular reason). After the first time, I found out I enjoyed them enough, so said "yes" when offered the next two times. It's not comparable to the "naad kasai" in Thailand, but good luck finding anyone who actually trained in that.
