Visa on Arrival was easy, and only a 10 minute wait in my case. Getting out of the arrival area to get to the luggage area was more complicated, you have to fill out some form online and get a barcode to open the exit gate.

You can do all these paperwork on line. I typically do it while I'm waiting to board my flight. Once you've submitted the immigration and custom form, you'll be asked if you want to ask and pay the VOA directly, very easy if you're on the correct site, you've already filled all the required form. VOA is charged 524500 ruppiah, never had a problem for the payment with my Wize card.

I did not, I think the best way to approach it is to inquire how you can have a brief chat with the girls beforehand. There is also a review section in their Telegram where I found several dozen reviews, including one on one of the girls I went with, but it's not extensive.

90 minutes just to get there is goddamn long, I can beat one out in my way there! Jakarta traffic is really something else, I would have been bored out of my mind. Anyway kudos to you for making the journey there, it's shame you didn't get to experience any overnighters this time round.

How was your experience with the language barrier? I assume you just used Google translate for everything?

I treated the long journey as an opportunity to see more of the city, so not all bad. Language barrier was variable, some girls spoke some basic english, while for others it was minimal. Filled in the gaps with Google translate.

Agree this is a quirky requirement. That being said, after the first time I now I have my passport page saved in both formats. Whilst it may be easy to "let one of the guys do the work" to enter the data upon arrival, there is every chance you get stuck in a long line for Visa on Arrival. The sooner I get through the e-gates, the sooner I am in a Bluebird taxi to meeting the sweet Indonesian pussy waiting for me at the hotel. Worth it IMHO. AR.

Two were reservations so this would not be possible if the girl had a booking right before. The only location where I saw a lounge area to hang out was El Norte, it might be possible to have some chit chat there with a girl from a lineup. The ride to PIK is indeed very long. I went up there a couple times and one time it took 1. 5 h, of which at least 30 minutes involved moving just 100 m near a congested intersection! The Grab was still only 57 K for that long ride, but I gave the driver a good tip.

Since I cannot speak the language, I prefer having some time to speak with the girls before going to the room.
