Quality is definitely higher, but a 400 K tip puts the total bill over $200 USD. I do not mind paying for quality but that's a steep price by MDE standards. Would I pay that? Maybe, if every star aligned. But I would not go in planning on it.

I agree it is a waste to pay for FS in these massage spots as it is a rip off. I don't go to these massage spots just due to the cost. I travel to smash, not to get a massage whether it is good or bad, and def not just paying for a he.

Asking what I assume will be called a dumb question. But it's been roughly a year since I've been to MDE, so I'm asking those with boots on the ground within the last month. (I've been frequenting Tijuana quite a bit this year and have found a good process that works well for me there. But paisas are my weakness!

Go ahead and flame me but I'm a guy that has had success at Gusto and other Lleras bars. Any fool can have success there with the right amount of cash. But before you judge me, I do NOT pay the prices quoted here. I have no problem saying no. I imagine the prices being quoted are paid by newbs. Gusto is a relatively safe place for a new gringo. And I have to believe they have either no negotiating skills or are uncomfortable negotiating. Regardless, it is their money and I do not care..

It hasn't affected the bars at all. I just left and will be going back for Halloween. Gustos is still packed with women, and they're starving for business. The street is absolutely crazy, with about a 50-to-1 ratio. Its Definitely a buyer's market.

But do yourself a favor: DON'T LINGER IN THE F-ING PARK. Nothing else has changed, but they will make an example of you for engaging with women in the park. I don't get why that's so damn hard for some of you cheap asses to understand. Move along and actually go into the club.

I agree with your overall assessment. I've been to Manizales a couple of times due to its vibrant university scene, but overall it wasn't for me. This was pre-Covid. I stayed around 3-4 days each time. So my experience is very dated, and I'm a party animal and I hung out around the El Cable neighborhood. I can say for a fact there were lots of naturally looking beautiful young ladies all over the place.

Being a Chino in my 30's back then, speaking fluent Spanish, and having sufficient experience with the Paisa culture, I thought I had it in the bag. But nothing could be further from the truth. It humbled me and I was better for it. I didn't do any dating apps or online sites back then and did some cold approaches. Fortunately, I did meet a cute chica from Villacencio at a freelance bar that gave me a reason to stay hehe. Anyways, Manizales definitely not going to be overrun by gringos anymore than Pasto. And I'm glad for that.

Not trying to argue with you. But I would say it's definitely a YMMV situation. Several important points:

1 - would say that 400 k still gives you slim to no chance at a couple of these places. Without disclosing too much, one of my ATFs worked at one of these places and has since ventured out on her own and started her own casa. Her former employer strictly forbid anything beyond he. I know her fairly well outside of the hobby and, though you never know, I do trust her. Most girls honored those rules.

2 - Some of those places will certainly bite at 400 k. But again, YMMV. I've had BBFS for no extra tip. And CFS after she asked for an undisclosed amount of an "extra tip".

3 - Why I'd advise NO ONE to expect anything beyond a sensual he: avoid disappointment. When you go to these places that have rules forbidding it, you are setting yourself up for disappointment and you might not appreciate what is otherwise a great experience. I'm speaking from experience. When I go in, I am expecting an above average massage, a very sensual cuerpo a cuerpo, and a manual finish. I expect nothing more. If something transpires, that's gravy. But for me, hoping or expecting for more ruins the basic, agreed upon service.

FWIW: These places are not FS, generally speaking. Depending on the masajista and comfort level, that can vary. But I would say 9 times out of 10, it's HJ only. That's fine with me. But I mention it because I would be disappointed if I had hopes of anything more.
