I stayed at Ambassador Tower Wing (left) several times pre COVID. At that time they had the ideal system. A guard was stationed just outside the elevator lobby and he collected lady IDs and refused to return them until after you confirmed via room phone that everything was cool. There was no charge for this service, but I always tip whoever is collecting the ID.

I stopped staying at certain hotels because it was awkward to drop her ID with reception or security. The collecting of ID is for your protection and I encourage people to use that service.

Now is a good time to remind punters to meet your freelancers in the hotel lobby, don't let her come directly to your room until you have confirmed you are getting the product that you ordered. It's a lot easier to confront a scammer in the lobby than it is to confront her in your room.

IMHO, the walk of shame is not a thing in Thailand.

I stayed at Aloft by Marriott on Sukhumvit 11, I brought multiple girls one after the other, even two girls once, never had any problems. Best to contact the hotel in advance and ask.

I frequently stay at some hotels in Bangkok that are part of the JW Marriot or Hilton chain, like Aloft and DoubleTree, and they have never asked one of my guests for her ID.

Also, maybe because we were tipping the hotel staff they never asked our guests for ID.

Harmony Living (AirBnb) - Sukhumvit 15, between Asok and Nana stations. Nice stay

I stayed in a two-bedroom apartment at Harmony Living Building (through AirBnb) on Sukhumvit 15 for about a week and it was very convenient. It's located between Asok and Nana stations. The apartment was very clean, and the location made it easy to get around. It was around $50-60 per night but they were advertising discounts for longer bookings. The building security staff were also really friendly and relaxed about guests visiting, which made my whole experience very chill.

    Ibis / Galleria10

You'll find that Ibis accomodation in Thailand is considerably better than in Europe.

About the bar next to Galleria10 hotel; I have actually never met a woman born person there.

And the hotel staff never asls for ID's.

Thanks. I've stayed in Ibis hotels before in Europe and thought they were great for their price. Hopefully this is the same in Bangkok.

I previously stayed at the Ruamchitt Hotel above Thermae Cafe on past two visits but decided I no longer want to do Thermae Cafe nor bother with Nana Plaza for take out.

Many thanks. Have stayed at nearby Okura and Conrad both without any difficulty in terms of joiners. I like the area. Bit away from the madness and Athenee looks terrific.

Kormo Bangkok or SO Hotel Bangkok

Does anyone share their experience with either of these 2 hotels, are they guest friendly?

Also my third option is Double Tree Hilton Ploenchit, I already saw notes that this is guest friendly. Just trying to decided for my first trip in Dec for 5 days. Thank you fellas.

Siam Design Hotel was one I thought might fit the bill but I'm not sure.
Better ask this in the Pattaya Hotels thread. Otherwise this Bangkok Hotels thread gets 'contaminated' with Pattaya hotels, which can lead to confusion.
