The tip is not mandatory but as I know the girl will get less than 1 K, I tip her for good service.

Stills works out cheaper than an Oily, if you tip say 300 Baht. This is the cheapest option I have been using although I know I can get cheaper with free lancers, where I would have to pay for ST Hotel as well. At an Oily I would be up for 1.5K plus massage fee plus any tip or an all inclusive price definitely higher than 2K.

On the contrary it works out to be very good value for me. I could get a quickie bang on the normal couches for less but I prefer to take my time in comfort and have the showering facilities.

If they ask for a tip in advance, I would consider this bad form, except at places like the oilies where the 1500 baht payment to the girl is sometimes called a sort of mandatory tip and other times just a cost of the session. In such cases, mentioning the 1500 "tip" at the beginning of a session could be considered "informational."

If on the other hand the stated all-inclusive cost of the session is 1700 baht, they should not be asking for or demanding a tip in advance except perhaps for services that are not normally included in the base fee (perhaps A+ at some places). If they put pressure on me to tip before the session has even started, I would not react well.

Requesting an optional tip at the end of the session is acceptable so long as it doesn't get overbearing, as it sometimes can although not so often in Thailand (in China it can be another story). Because this website has the kind of information you want for a good number of massage places in Bangkok. This website has links to websites for massage places. And it has pictures, phone numbers, and prices for many massage ladies.

But I'm not sure if the so-called high-end massage places are any better than other massage places. It all depends on what you are looking for. High-end places might be high-end because they have more luxurious building and facilities. But their ladies might not be any better-looking than ladies at other massage places.

Women at high-end places are more likely to speak English and perhaps some other languages too. And they might have more education too. But if I you aren't looking to get married, then I don't see why this would matter much to you. TIA.In general, Soapies do not have an overnight outcall service. There maybe exceptions but will work out expensive. The establishment will charge a very high fee. E. g. Annies Takeout price is 5000 Baht. The girl may get 2000 Baht out of that. She won't be happy with that for the whole night. Needs to be paid more. So not recommended.

I have taken girls for remainder of the night after they finish work from various soapies a few years ago (actually starting about 24 years ago), in secret. The Soapy knew nothing. Then its a private arrangement with girls that you should know well first. Always take the girl in house several times first before considering a long time booking IMHO. Girls at Annies would be fired if caught dating customers outside official bookings. So many would not risk being seen by another member of staff somewhere with a customer.

Soapy girls looking for a BF or a sponsor, may be happy to "date" customers secretly. Beware that girls may collect multiple sponsors and hope to get money each month from more than one source. I had visited Annie's on my first trip without staying but due to it being regularly touted by a senior member of this forum I gave it another try. It took all my resolve not to walk out.
