I have been to DR many times and I always stay at the $40 hotels without a pool. My friend is coming with me in March and he wants a more expensive hotel with a pool. The problem is are there any nice hotel with a pool that is girl friendly. Do any hotels not check for their ID or make you pay extra?? Either on malecon or colonial zona??

Your response is appreicated.

Alew217Hotel Palacio makes a photocopy of the chica's cedula. Occidental El Embajador, depends on what floor you are on, I was on a more expensive floor (club embajador) that had its own reception desks in front of the elevators, sometimes they checked the chica's cedula, sometimes they didn't. If you get a room on one of the other floors, you could probably just walk in with the chica with no checkig of cedulas.

Napolitano I don't know, BoricuaOnline would have more info on the Napolitano.

Hotel BQ/Delta

http://bqsantodomingo.com/en/

Has a pool, jacuzzi and bar on the rooftop. The bar area was under construction but you could still get drinks. It has secure parking for those that rent a car. Sometimes the hotel is a cheap as $60 a night + tax. It has a kickass breakfast buffet included and if you book the room with 2 people the girl can eat with you in the morning for free. They are a bit loose on the ID thing for the girls and do not charge for guests. I went to the room with my GF and her sister and they didn't check ID's. I also went with my friend with privileges and they checked. It may depend on the time of day.

Orbitz had a deal for any hotel that you can book on their site for $40 dollars off any 3 night or more stay. I don't know if it is still going on. If you book directly on their website it is more money, use yahoo, orbitz or search for another site for a better price.

Overall a nice hotel.

Flew into sdq last night from new york. Most of the people on the plane were carrying sleeping bags and tents. They are going to Haiti from santo domingo. I talked with a few of them, some have never been in the Dominican Republic, they weren't sure how they were going to get to haiti. One group said Coach bus would take them to haiti. I know coach usa bus lines in the states, i don't believe they exist here in dom rep. I was told maybe caribe tours has buses to haiti. God bless those people who are going to help in haiti, it will not be easy for them there.

I was here this morning when haiti had another quake, I felt nothing. The car rental parking lot was 80% empty, seems many people are renting cars and driving to haiti. I would drive there, but the gasoline situation there makes me hesitant. Saw other people loading up SUVs for the trip to Haiti.

I forgot my carry on bag in my house. My cell phones for the Dominican Republic were in that bag. I walked over to the codetel/claro office on avenida 30 de marzo, two blocks north of park independencia near zona colonial. I ask the chica inside the shop for a barato celular (cheap celular). I am still bad with understanding when people say the prices in Spanish.

I bought a ZTE cell phone for claro that has a chip, brand new in a sealed box with 100 pesos in minutes included for 495 pesos (about 15 dollars). The chica in claro set up the voice mail and the password.

The first time I went to add minutes from a claro card, I was given the option to hear everything in English. The claro message while adding minutes was in English after I choose English.

I have not been able to change the sound settings on the phone or put it into silent mode, now when I with a chica I turn the phone off.

Saw two chicas today who I know from online. The first chica visited with me for about 5 hours, no intercourse, just sucking the tetas.

The second chica was an unforgettable experience. Best sex I have ever had in my life. I can remember another monger saying some chica was like the energizer bunny. The second chica today fits that description. I drove behind her car with my car when she went home today around 4am, to make sure she got home safe. After her I am tranquil.

While I was having sex with her I would view her face at different angles, the same chica face can look totally different when you view her face from different positions/angles. I was buzzed today, lack of sleep and half a bottle of belvedere vodka.

I bought two Cialis branded pills at a small pharmacy on Ave. Independencia, a guy was working at the pharmacy. At one pharmacy I couldn't bring myself to ask for the cialis in front of a group of people who were waiting at the pharmacy desk. Price for two Cialis in a sealed Cialis box with a durex condom taped to it was 682 pesos. I took one around 10am and was still growing strong at 3am, after vodka and lack of sleep. Worth the money.

Saw one very large unmarked white cargo plane at the sdq airport when I arrived, also saw one Israeli El Al plane and another large plane which were bringing in supplies bound for haiti.

Today is dia de altagracia, many Dominicans head to the basilica in Higuey.

Flight time, new york to santo domingo was 3 hours 25 minutes, the jetblue flight left on time and arrived 30 minutes earlier than scheduled at 5:25 AM, paid $311 round trip.

At least this week most of the better hotels are booked. If you use orbitz or expedia many hotels are booked. I stopped at hotel palacio and they had no rooms.

The disaster in haiti appears to be having a good effect on the owners of hotels in santo domingo.

I stayed four nights at an inexpensive apartment on the beach in Juan Dolio.

Mint discoteca was dead tonight, only two people, me and my girl. Coppa tonight had some people. This past Monday was some holiday so it was a long weekend for many people.

There is also riazor, jaguar and mystik for a little more money.

For about 100 per night embajador and hotel palacio.

With the disaster in haiti, I would suggest having reservations before you arrive.

Enjoy!Nearest beach would be puerto plata, about an hour away from santiago. If you want to swim in santiago, hotel el gran almirante has a nice pool. Or you can swim in the river in Jarabacoa a town about 25 minutes from Santiago.

7 degrees Fahrenheit back here in New York. I stayed in the apartment of a friend, nice apartment on the malecon and avenida pasteur. I would pass girls house and sky house every time I walked to the colmado to buy coffee, beer, soda, milk and juice. Dominican guys approached me every time telling me about various casa with chicas that I already know about.

One short guy showed me the massage place next to la cadena supermarket on avenida cervantes up the block from avenida independencia. It is the building right next to the supermarket, entrance is about 20 feet from the sidewalk, has a sign above the door saying something about therapy for the cervical spine but in spanish. The PLD political party headquarters is about two houses down on the corner of cervantes and independencia. 4 chicas inside, two bigger girls and two smaller girls, you choose who you want for the massage. Nice massage table. They are straight up about the prices, 800 pesos for a normal massage, 1300 pesos for a masturbation massage. The place is open during the day. I did not partake so I have no idea what they do during the masturbation massage.

I stopped in sky house a few times with my plastic shopping bag from the colmado, to have a few beers. Nicole is the most popular chica in there. Some decent looking chicas in there, none of them very friendly. The blonde hair bartender I have known for a few years, she said she could go with me.

On my last night I met up with a newbie to Santo Domingo, a member of this board. I met him in front of hotel duque wellington and we were propositioned by three chicas outside duque wellington, we continued to walk. I took him into girl's house, good lineup, I saw one chica who I would consider, we had a beer and then went to Sky house for a beer.

I showed him my apartment and he met my serious girlfriend who was waiting for me in the apartment. I told her I had to show my friend from the States around in Santo Domingo. Got my car and we drove to Baby Dolls on the malecon.

The last game of the Dominican baseball season was played that night and escondejo won the championship over the gigantes from san pedro de marcoris. People on the malecon were going crazy, dragging pieces of metal behind their cars, yelling and screaming, honking horns. Traffic moved very slow on the malecon.

We got to baby dolls, went to the second floor. I was chatting up some chica in there, friendly girl who spoke good english. Then we went to foxys for one beer before it closed, I had some tall shapely chica sit on my lap.

We left foxys and went to atarazana 9 bar in zona colonial. I said hello to the guys I know who work there. Me and the newbie met two sisters and their friend. One of the sisters had a great pair of tits popping out of her shirt, she was a little snobby though. The three chicas took a ride in my car to coppa discoteca. One of the chicas was 17 and coppa would not let her in.

I lost track of the newbie in coppa discoteca, last I saw him he was sitting in front of a blonde haired chica with big tits (who I believe is the chica BoricuaOnline always runs into in sdq).

I was drinking vodka and orange juice and I was lit. I met some attractive girl in coppa, she followed me to the balcony when I went to smoke and said something about 4 thousand pesos. I had my gf in the apartment so I was not doing anything with her.

I am friendly with the street kids/shoe shine kids and they told me my car was open, nothing in the car to steal so I went and locked all the doors. Got back to the apartment around 5am. Not sure how the newbie made out.

A few guys have asked me about the inexpensive apartment in Juan Dolio. This is the webpage for the building: http://caribeparaisojuandolio.com/

Dominican guy named Raul runs the place, nice guy.

I was told they have apartments from 35-50 dollars per night. I used the 50 per night apartment. Clean, good air conditioning, large refrigerator, stove worked, balcony with a view of the beach.

They have parking for about 5 cars. Near the parking area is a small restaurant that is popular at night, appears it is run by an Italian guy.

There is beach access with small tables/umbrellas, past where the restaurant is.

They give you two keys, one key for your room and the other key for the lobby door. There is a security guy there at night.

I was with my gf, so I did not monger there. Showgirls is about 300 feet away and I saw some chicas standing around out on the street at night.

During the week Juan Dolio is muy tranquil, mostly older mongers with their younger dominicana chicas in tow. On the weekends there are more cars and the small beach road can be a pain to drive on.

I also saw another apartment in a condominium building, two bedrooms, a little more expensive, 100 per night, I will post those photos shortly.

Fellow mongers. I am sure many of you have given to the help organizations but there is one thing you can do that will assure your money gets used properly. Water is a big problem and it is going to get bigger. One of the ISG members just brought 9 small units to purify water. It will purify 1 liter of water every 90 seconds but the advantages are that it only requires 2 each AA rechargeable batteries. If you are coming to Haiti or the Dominican Republic and if you don't come you could get them to someone that is coming it would go a long way. They cost $60. You have probably spent that much for one night with a Chica or even more for less. Just go to this sight

I saw a two bedroom apartment in this building in juan dolio. Flat screen tv, heavy duty exterior plastic shades that you pull up. Two bedrooms with two bathrooms. It is across from Plaza Luna. The parking area for this building was full on the weekend and empty during the week. The building is a little ways past the Coral Costa Caribe all inclusive hotel on the small beach road heading east.

The guy who rents the apartments is usually on site, I have to find his telephone number. Supposedly there is also a three bedroom apartment for rent for about the same price. The apartment I saw had bunk beds in one of the rooms.

Nice trip report, as usual. That chica was a real pro. She had a nice ass and no tits. I gave her the money when we were leaving the apartment. She said I was tacano (cheap). I walked with her to villa hernanos restaurant on pasteur and independencia and said adios. Before I did anything with her, she said 100 dollars, I said I am not giving you 100 dollars. I said I'll give you something. She did give me a good back rub the next day in addition to the sex. I saw her again later in the trip, on el conde, I didn't stop to speak with her.

Saw some older foreign guys in coppa most nights. Seems the chicas in coppa want 100 dollars or more. I was mostly with chicas who I know from online.

I drove one afternoon to meet some chica at her house, she lives past carrefour. Met her mom and she returned to my apartment with her cousin (the cousin was a tall shapely chica appeared she had no panties on, all I saw was the but cheeks and the but crack with no panties when she bent over one time), the other chica was nice, thin, got a bj. The traffic on Avenida Lincoln at 4pm was super slow. I drove by the Holiday Inn on Avenida Lincoln, seems like a nice modern hotel. Also passed a restaurant/bar called Lincoln Road seems like a nice place.

I also went to Haina a few times late at night. Some chica who I know from online. Haina is about 8 minutes past the cabanas on the malecon, there is a 30 peso toll right after the cabanas. San Cristobal is also in that direction.

The first night I entered Haina around 11pm, roads with curves and not many street lights. I called the chica and she asked me where I was in Haina. I called her back from outside some colmado and I put some older dominican guy on the cell phone, who was standing in front of the colmado, she explained to him where she wanted me to meet her. The older guy then told me where to go, nice people.

I ate at the swiss chalet restaurant on the malecon, the chica from haina drank three glasses of whiskey on the rocks in 15 minutes. Seems an older swiss guy runs the place, food was ok, a little pricey.

One chica who Koki likes from San Cristobal invited me to the Blue Palace in San Cristobal, but I didn't go, I saw her on another day in the apartment.

Having use of the apartment is great, the guy who manages the apartment for the owner meets me at 7am in the morning to give me the keys, when I have an early flight. Good security in the building.

Some guy outside the V Centannario offered me a chica for 1200 pesos. Cute chica, he called her over and she was grabbing my dick above my pants while I was standing on Avenida Pasteur near the malecon at night. Met some other light skin chica from Santiago while standing out in front of the V Centannario hotel. I saw a few American soldiers in uniform inside the V Centannario Hotel.

I was always waiting for the chicas to arrive by taxi, they are never on time (the taxi had to stop and get gas, or there was an accident and traffic was slow are some of the excuses I heard). This trip most of the chicas who I had sex with had big tetas, I met them online.

Where is the picture of this blonde? LOL. this blonde girl the first time I saw her told me she was from Colombia, next time from Greece, from a different country on every travel.I went into hotel navarro one afternoon, some white not very friendly spanish chica told me the price was 1500 pesos. I did see a few chicas lounging in their pajamas, with the hair net on their heads (chicas from Foxys).

One tall shapely chica who sat on my lap in Foxy's told me she lived in zona oriental.

Baby Dolls has strip shows on the second floor, I saw two chicas in Baby Dolls who did not have panties, that were walking around.

I watched the NY Jets lose to the Colts at eagle sports bar. Waitresses with skimpy clothes, you can see part of their trasero.

Some 18 year old chica who I know from online met me at eagle sports bar, with her friend. The 18 year chica knows a player from the Colts. After Eagle Sports Bar, I drove over to zona colonial to Atarazana bar but it was closed Sunday around 8pm. I then went to Hard Rock cafe with the two chicas. At hard rock I ordered a small presidente light, the waitress told they had no small presidente light beers, that they had a special, 3 large presidente lights for 500 pesos. However the waitress never came back to take my order. I waited over 10 minutes (the place was not busy), I left and took the two chicas to the Beds further down on el conde.

The Beds (inside siegfredo zanetti espresso bar) was comfortable. Laid on one of the beds with the two chicas and there is a small metal serving tray where you put your drinks. I closed my eyes for a few minutes, relaxing place. I sent the two chicas home and I drove to haina that night.

After watching the Jets lose at Eagle Sports bar, and after the Beds in Zona Colonial, I did a stop in bar 360 in zona colonial. A few chicas were hanging out. I didn't stay in bar 360. I got into a argument one other time with the young male dominican bar tender (I had to ask him for my change after I bought a beer and the guy wanted to fight to me). Most bars in the Dominican Republic are very slow with giving your change after you buy a drink. That same male bartender was working that Sunday night in bar 360 and there were no chicas I liked, so I walked in and walked out.

I then drove to haina, met the chica from haina for the first time. She was the second chica on this trip who told me she wanted to get a breast reduction. I have seen two dominican chicas after breast reduction, not pretty.

I ate at the Suisse Chalet, the chica had cordon bleu and I had steak with goulash soup, with three whiskeys for the chica and two presidente cervezas for me, the bill was something like 2500 pesos.

I then drove to coppa discoteca with the chica, while I was parking my car, the chica got a call from her friend who was working about 15 minutes from coppa. The chica from Haina asked me if her friend could hang out and if I could go pick up her friend. The friend was working in the direction of haina, I drove and picked her up and then drove the two of them to haina, no coppa discoteca. I was staying in juan dolio that night, so I drove to juan dolio around 1am.

I stopped to get gas at the isla gas station that is in the middle of the highway going towards the airport, it is open 24 hours (before the toll plaza when heading east). I saw some guy driving a car that had a broken axle. After I got gas I stopped my car in the gas station to put on my seat belt and get the change ready for the toll booth. Some 22 year old dominican guy approached my driver window. He had been driving the car with the broken axle. He asked me if I could give him a ride past the toll plaza going in the direction of boca chica. I said sure. 1am Sunday night, I felt bad for the kid. He left his car in the gas station.

I drove the kid home. I had to make a left off of the highway after the toll plaza. Very shitty roads after I made the left. All dirt with many holes. I had to drive like 6 blocks and then make a right then some more blocks, I didn't pay attention how many blocks from where I made the turn, dark dirt roads, no street lights. I usually get lost after I drive people home (and its usually late with no people out to ask for directions). That neighborhood was like the campo. I eventually found the highway. The kid was thankful, he gave me his phone number, he works at the Hilton hotel.

I have been interested in visiting the islands for a longtime and found this site in a search but not much feedback on the girls in terms of services offered and quality of service received. The price seems fair but if the girls either just sit there and look pretty then no or minimize FS to 3 times a day or less then again no. Anyone checked this out? Also is it just cheaper to plan the whole trip yourself and browse established areas?

I have been interested in visiting the islands for a longtime and found this site in a search but not much feedback on the girls in terms of services offered and quality of service received. The price seems fair but if the girls either just sit there and look pretty then no or minimize FS to 3 times a day or less then again no. Anyone checked this out? Also is it just cheaper to plan the whole trip yourself and browse established areas?

The places combined last September due to problems TotalSatisfaction had with their Juan Dolio location. I spent 14 days there in Nov/Dec and you can read my trip report at http://www.affordable-adult-vacations.com/index.php?option=com_wrapper&view=wrapper&Itemid=54

The girl stays with you 24 hours a day and the amount of sex depends on how well you get along with the girl. Being in my 50's two or three times a day was plenty for me. I stayed with three different girls and they were mostly up for anything as far as sex was concerned. The girls are GFE rather than than hooking up with a woman at a bar for short time or TLN since they don't leave in the morning unless you are unhappy with them. You can trade before noon every day if you are not happy with the chica. Let me assure you they work hard to keep you happy. From looking at the chicas on the streets of Boca Chica the girls at the resort are a cut above most.

The resort is all inclusive with all you can eat and drink so you need to factor that into your costs. Carlos works to make sure you are happy with the resort, chica and have a good time recommending trips and excursions. They have a very good relationship with the local police which is a plus.

I had never been to the DR before so this was ideal the first trip since I did not speak any Spanish and the resort and Carlos take care of everything. The second trip I had learned a little Spanish and made lots of trips and excursions. Having the chica along to help with Spanish, negotiate prices and help with public transportation made the trip all that much enjoyable.

The resort is more expensive than hunting chicas in the streets but you are assured a good time or you can get your money back after the first day/night if you are not satisfied. Most mongers will frown on the price you pay, but for sex two or three times a day in an all inclusive secure location the price is really not that bad.

You can get a room for two at some all inclusive hotels for about 130 US Dollars per night (winter season). Even cheaper in the off season (70 per night), Coral Costa Caribe in juan dolio. 4x130=520 for hotel and food. $1080 divided by 4 = $270 US Dollars per night for chicas.

With 270 dollars per night to spend, you can get a good amount of women. Some chicas make 200 pesos per day (about 6 dollars) for 8-10 hours of work (in an office or hair salon).

That site says it allows you to switch chicas after 24 hours. There is no guarantee with any chica. Most guys on this board prefer to try a chica for short a time session and if she is good then they go for all night.

In santo domingo you can get chicas starting at US$30 for short time. The chicas in some houses ask for 2500 pesos and up, US$65 and up. In Santo Domingo you can stay in a budget hotel for US$60 per night, another 20-30 dollars per day for food. You would have a budget of over 200 dollars to spend on chicas per night. You can do a lot of banging with over 200 dollars per night to spend. If you find a chica you like, then you can ask her to spend more time with you and pay her accordingly.

Its your money. The chicas pictured on that website are not the hottest chicas in Dom Rep, they are attractive, but not the hottest.

If you choose a chica on that site who is a dud, you are stuck with her for 24 hours. If you have bad luck and get 4 duds, you have basically wasted 1600 dollars.

How is the food (seafood and/or steaks)? Buffet style or are you given a menu to order from? How are the drinks? Do they have a bar open 24 hours per day? Do they provide food 24 hours? Swimming pool at the resort?

Did you use the resort in Boca Chica or another town? When you stayed there how many chicas were available on site the day you arrived?

Thanks for your answers, seems you had a good time at the place, so maybe you won't mind providing more information to help the other monger who is considering that resort.

I might try them the once so I can get a feel for DR then plan another trip seperately. That said it is a good deal compared to most other travel options. Just recent spent over $2500 on hotel cost excluding meals or companionship. Fortunately it was for business so the cost was covered by the company.

I would rate a 2 star. As you enter town from the East, there is one of those drive-in quickie places.

Do you know if they have air conditioning? Internet?

Thanks for the info.

Thanks for your answers, seems you had a good time at the place, so maybe you won't mind providing more information to help the other monger who is considering that resort. The resort provides pickup and drop off at the airport. You are given all the exit paperwork before you leave for the airport and Carlos helped me through customs and made sure I was in right lines for the airline.

Food is cooked to order from a menu. Typical Dominican food of which I liked it all but the beef was a little tough for me. Seafood, pasta and chicken dishes were all good. The bar was open until about 10:00 PM for mixed drinks but beer and wine 24 hours. You could have your own bottle and get the ice and mixes from the cooler at least that is what the chica did. There was no pool at the resort but the ocean is close and most of the chicas don't like to get their hair wet. The lack of a pool was not an issue for me.

The resort is the Hotel Astoria in Boca Chica. Only 10 rooms so you get a lot of attention. The girls are presented in a lineup of 8-10 girls and you pick the one you want. As far as the one chica per 24 hour period, one guy was having issues and traded four times in one day. On the other hand I would say 70% of the guys kept the same girl the whole time. As far as the girls being conservative, Carlos can help you pick the ones who might fit your particular needs, but this is not a BDSM location.

I realize it is much cheaper to do it the other way but if you saw the way the girls treated their clients you would understand how much fun it could be. I am not talking handsome young dudes but old fat guys being treated really well by nice looking ladies. This is not a 2 hour short time or spend the night hookup but more of the hand holding kissing and having fun type relationship.
I am not promoting either method of visiting the DR but the resort provides a safe secure environment for the first time visitor.

As Jaosousa says it is your money and I agree. It is good to have options in life.

Hope this helps.

That writer interviewed several mongers, I wonder if he told them that they would be in an essence article. Some of the article seems ridiculous, the writer goes to boca chica, where his translator shows him pieces of cardboard on the street that she says women use to kneel on, to give oral sex. I have never seen chicas giving oral sex on the street kneeling on cardboard.

The writer lives in Brooklyn, he can travel to Hunts Point in the Bronx and see the impoverished American women, standing out in the street waiting for johns. The article is insulting on many levels.

Yep, I met him Atlanta when I worked there.

I found the article elsewhere. Quite well written and cleverly aimed at its target audience, though I found several elements of dishonesty there too.

Why mention that the guagua to Boca Chica was rusty? Maybe it was, but most aren't, and this gives the impression of poverty and sleaziness that is exaggerated and creates a false impression. At least they have affordable public transportation in the DR, which is a much greener proposition than no public transportation and two cars for every family, which is the rule here in FL.

And what is this about pieces of cardboard on the ground in Boca Chica for girls to kneel on when giving blow jobs? Have I missed something? Again a detail designed to give a misleading impression of sleaziness and degradation.

All the usual points made about risk of venereal diseases and AIDS, without much factual content. It seems that the moralists these days have pretty much given up on the idea of excoriating recreational sex as sinful, and now prefer to jump on the public health and communicable disease horse. Which is understandable, especially as the African American community in the US has a high incidence of HIV/AIDS, with US prisons being a prime vector for transmission.

One point that is not even denied, it seems, is that Dominican women are much better at sex than their American sisters.

I thought he did make some worthwhile points about the attitudes of certain mongers and the mind set that leads to exploitation.

After my return from a recent trip to Haiti, I was talking to a male friend who is a good looking guy, married with kids, a lead guitarist in a part time rock band. He knows nothing about my mongering, and never will.

He wished he had come to Haiti with me, and said that if he was away from his wife with all the destitute homeless Haitians after the earthquake, he would be offering them a dollar or two for sex, and telling them to take it or starve. (Although I did have sex with women in Haiti, they were well rewarded in money, gifts, and survival supplies, and I actually cooked for two of them, and boy, were they hungry!)

Although this kind of talk was probably just bravado on his part, I was a bit shocked, and it did remind me of some of the kind of attitudes I have seen displayed in field report on boards like this.

Although Dominican women do tend to be more domesticated, and enjoy cooking, I don't think they should be used as sexual domestic servants, at least not if they are being paid only minimum wage for sex. Of course, if a girl is a novia, then that is a different matter, because she is getting many other benefits and needs to make her contribution to the domestic economy of the couple.

And interesting that the final jab is that some mongers are leaving the DR for Eastern Europe.

Once you go white, you stay all night, it seems.

So this was one African American journalist cleverly marketing an article about the paid sex sector in the DR, but it would be interesting to see more articles of similar nature about prostitution in the U.S., or in particular comparing prostitution in the DR with prostitution in the U.S.

I also find the story about a group of HIV + gay men who go to the DR and have unprotected sex with impoverished young men alarming, if it is true, and surely worth discussion in forums wider than this one. If true it seems like a significant news story on its own, but one wonders about the quality of the information. Wouldn't these men be on antiviral therapy that would significantly lower their T4 counts and contagiousness? A lot of unanswered questions here.

So comparing the Dominican pesos prices with the Thai baht using XE.comas a guide:

A few hours back at your hotel with a decent freelancer for massage and at least a BL and BJ 1, 500 pesos (1, 400 Thai baht)

Normal full body massage at a proper massage place 800 pesos (730 Thai baht)

Massage with hand relief at a proper massage place 1, 300 pesos (1, 200 Thai baht)

All night (or all day) full sex from 2, 000 pesos or really pushing the boat out 3, 000 pesos (1, 800.2, 700 Thai baht)

Private dance in a top strip club 500 pesos (460 Thai baht. But this would usually be free in Thailand in a definitely free to enter Go-go bar.

'Salida' Exit fee (bar fine to Thailand mongerers) 300 pesos (275 Thai baht) slightly lower than in Thailand.

Even drinks in the girly bars seemed to be around the same price.

Local Predidente beer for 100 pesos (around 90 Thai baht. The local Sigha beer in any Thai Go-go bar averages at 95 baht).

Large strong rum and coke 150 pesos (140 baht).

I did it. I pressed that no point of return credit card booking icon on the computer screen and waited. The US Airways confirmed booking reference and flight itinerary looked quite sweet when I printed it off.

Santo Domingo here I come.

Full Trip Report to follow.

[size=-2]EDITOR'S NOTE: I would suggest that the author or another Forum Member consider posting a link to this report in the Reports of Distinction thread. Please Click Here (http://www.Internationalsexguide.info/forum/announcement-reportsofdistinction.php) for more information. Since you will be going to SDQ, I'll offer some observations here in the santo domingo thread.

Normal non sexual massage, can be had for 400 pesos and up, I haven't gotten one in over a year so prices may have gone up 100 pesos. There is a normal massage place in Zona Colonial, where the price was 500 pesos for an hour massage (non sexual). The other massage place on ave. Cervantes wants 800 pesos (1300 for a masturbation massage). Massages in resort type hotels generally 40 us dollars and up for an hour.

Lap dances. I have been in sky house several times and the chicas there never get touchy feely. Some attractive chicas, but no freebies. Girls house I have not been in many times, I have not gotten a free lap dance there.

Baby dolls on the malecon, I have been in several times. They have the girls do nude dances and I had one chica sit on my lap and grab my dick for 15 minutes. I bought her a drink after ten minutes of the free lapdance and stroking (of course she was working me trying to get me to pay the price to go with her). In Baby Dolls there are chicas who will grind you. Price of a ladies drink in Girl's House was 300 pesos. In La Parada you can buy the chica a beer for 100-150 pesos. I don't remember the price of a ladies drink in Baby Dolls. You are not obligated to buy any chicas drinks. I have been in Baby Dolls early around 5pm, the chicas live there, they came out in their pajamas (mostly transparent) with the hair net thing on their heads. In Foxy's I had some chica sit on my lap and watched another chica dance nude on the stage. In GBP some chcias will put on a show and will give you quickie grind for free. (your choice if you want to tip them some money).

Foxys offers some kind of paid lap dance, I did not partake so I don't know how it is. Cats has separate room behind some curtains where you can take a chica for 500 pesos and have her dance for you. Cats is really small with 5-6 chicas. GBP is small too.

Small presidente cerveza (local beer) in the jaragua casino bar is 200 pesos, in coppa discoteca 150 pesos. Some local non fancy bars sell large presidente beer for 50 or 75 pesos. Brahma brand beer, I don't like.

Street chicas can be gotten for 1000 pesos and up.

With the earthquake in haiti, many people who are helping in haiti are staying in santo domingo, some hotels in sdq were fully booked when I was there a month ago.

If you decide to drive, you have to always look to the sides of your car whenever you want to change lanes or pull out of a parking space, you never know when a 125cc motorcycle will be trying to pass your vehicle.

If you drive, expect the unexpected. My last trip I was driving on the malecon going east right before adrians tropical 24 hour restaurant, it was around midnight, not much traffic at that hour. The malecon is a four lane road with a parking lane on both sides. There was a bend in the road at that location and I was driving slow in the right lane of moving traffic near the parking lane. Around the turn coming in the opposite direction came two tractor trailers trucks going 50mph, the second tractor trailer was in my lane coming right at me. I flashed my high beams and the driver of the tractor trailer corrected his course. If you drive give yourself escape room to get away from any bonehead drivers.

Cialis, viagra or la pella readily available in pharmacies. Some pharmacies near the hotel riazor are open 24/7.

When you walk on avenida independencia near avenida pasteur, you will be approached by shoe shine kids as well as other guys who want to take you to various casas, some of them can be quiet persistent. Sometimes I'll give the shoeshine kids some loose change and they are happy. The "tour guides" guys, I usually just say, yo conosco esta lugars (I know those places), some will keep walking at your side. If you look at the google sdq map that boricuaonline made, you really won't need a guide.

The more you look like a typical tourist, the more some types of people will approach you. Jeans or docker pants are ok. Most dominican men won't wear shorts unless they are at the beach. Usually a short sleeve (or long sleve, most dominican men wear long sleeve shirts) button down shirt with a collar, helps you blend in better. Coppa discoteca will not allow you in with sandals no matter how expensive they are (but you can wear a t shirt in coppa).

I am sure other members can add some other insights.

I have noticed that the hotel rates in March are high since I booked my room back in Decemer. I stay at the Courtyard. Is this due to the Earthquake in Haiti and hatian families are moving into hotels in SD?

Also, are there more hatian chicas in SD to work mongers to make money, or is everything the same as usual? This will be my 8th trip to SD in the past 4 years and I always enjoy mongering.

Where is the best place to pickup girls from Santiago? I think they are the best looking chicas in SD. Forget Girls House and the casas on Louis Pastuer. They are such a ripoff. I met one chica in the Jaragua Casino at 2pm that was not a worker and spent 4 days with her. Never asked for a dime. I would give her a 1000 pesos a night to gamble with at the casino and she would win I would let her keep what she won plus the 1000 I gave her. This was my doing, she did not ask. What a find! Just timing.

Thanks in advance!

Thanks in advance! There are people flying into SDQ from all over the world to help in haiti, many people stay in Santo Domingo. The Dominican government will only allow in badly injured haitians (to be treated in dominican hospitals) and wealthy haitians. I did not see any greater number of haitian working girls in sdq after
the quake. Some US soldiers are staying in the V Centannario hotel.

Hit the bars on avenida venezuela or bar atarazana in zona colonial for non-pro, semi pro talent. Good number of pros in coppa discoteca as well as normal chicas.

Many hotels in sdq are booked with people helping with the relief effort in haiti, I am sure some of them are mongering in sdq and the prices of chicas may go up as a result.

Thanks in advance!Hello,

I see from your past posts that the same Sd chic came foul later. Thats Sd for you, the big city game comes out, sometimes pushed by a Dominicano. I agree the girl house and casa are rip off's. But Santo Domingo has so many beautiful and lonely women, that there are some gem's. As my Spanish evolves that's the ticket(sd). Santiago has a suburban, middle class feel to it, but it also has the prettiest women. The key is your spanish, fluent spanish in SD and it's your sosua, if not your limited.

I think he is full of you know what.As I said when I first posted about this in mid January. I don't see any tuity fruity mongerers happy about going to get dick. Gay guys have their clicks here in the states. There are enough beautiful women in the DR to make a gay guy feel intimidated, plus gay guys want to go where there is acceptance. But it could happen. This guy just wanted to sell issues and shit on males mongering.

Thanks for the update with some interesting tips on how to 'blend in.'

I can see some of these male wannabe tourist guides who just latch on to you being more of a nuisance than a problem. Nothing I can't handle.

I have read parts of some college thesis and read a complete one of a friend who was making his thesis about HIV positive conduct before and after they know they HIV status. Most people do not change their conduct after knowing. His finding where similar to other studies made in different caribbean countries, including DR. Some highlights of these studies related to DR are: 1) during the last decade the infection rate on heterosexual women has increased, mostly related to partners who use i.v, drugs. 2) Intra venose drug users still account for the largest group of HIV+ people. 3) Gay people is still the second largest group of HIV+ people. 4) Some studies (not all) states that the North coast (Sosua-Puerto Plata ) with one of the highest HIV rate of all the Caribbean. 5) There is not a significant different of HIV prevalence comparing sex workers to the "normal" population.

I have visited the DR several times during almost 12 years and have had sex with over 70 different girls in that period of time. Girls come from massage houses, casinos and strip clubs, from the street, non pros that I met on stores or bars, girls I have met over the internet.

What I have learned during these years in terms of sexual safety? : never to shave my face or any sexual area of the body in the previous hours of a sexual encounter. Sexual diseases are opportunistic diseases and if you get cut while shaving the risk of getting the disease goes up. Never floss or brush your teeth before sex for the same reason. Always wear a condom during sex. Covered bj's reduce the risk of getting a disease but bj's are a less riskier conduct than intercourse, just don't shave etc. and the risk is reduced. I have eat lots of dominican pussy and have been bbbj a lot of times and never get anything, even a cough.

Most studies I have read do not show significant differences of STD on sexual worker population compared to normal population, with the exception of one that showed a higher prevalence on sexual workers in some areas. But, can you define in the DR who is a sexual worker or who is a regular girl?
Is the girl I met over the internet who has an italian boyfriend that Western Union her and I have had sex with her on my recent trips a sexual worker or part of the normal population? She is a college student with a "normal" life with friends and relatives that do not know what she do with foreigns like me.

On recent times there has been an increase of girls asking me to have unprotected sex. I have analized the reason and I can only infer (but can affirm) that it is because I am meeting more of the "regular girls", girls that do not work on clubs or on the streets that are more willing to have unprotected girlfriendly sex. I have also met several girls with foreing boyfriends and when I tell them "Oh, you have a boyfriend, then I can't have sex with you" they always say: " Why not???? My boyfriend live in the states (or Europe) so I can be with you (for a "gift", of course).

In recent years I have also seen an increase of services to the gay population: bars, discos, hotels and people offering these services to tourists. It do not surprise me the Essence story about the HIV guys having unprotected sex with dominican guys, as the studies mentioned before show must people do not change their sexual conduct once they know they are infected.

Everything we do in our life has his rate of risk, be informed, educated and reduce your risk of infection and increase your rate of pleasure. Also follow the "Ten Commandments of Mongering" and you will be alright. Here are a few:

Never pay upfront. Risk of bad service or short time service increases if you pay upfront.

Do not Western Union.

Do not repeat a girl. This commandment can be broke only if the girl provide an extremely exceptional service but can increase the risk of WU improper conduct.

Do not get excessively drunk. That increases the risk of being ripped off, robbed and affects your judgement.

Maintain a low profile. Do not flash money or take expensive jewelry on your trips.

Any other commandments?

Very true, but really my point was that for HIV +ve people to have unprotected sex without informing partners is classified as a crime in the US, at least in some states, and if this is a significant factor in introducing HIV to the heterosexual population of a country visited by gay Americans for sex tourism, then this is a very serious matter indeed, especially if it involves groups of people and other people, including health care professionals, know what is going on.

If it is true, that is, and not just scuttlebutt designed to frighten readers back home.

If it is true, that is, and not just scuttlebutt designed to frighten readers back home.I went to Cha Disco one Sunday night with a chica. Cha is a gay disco on the malecon in Santo Domingo, I saw a few foreign guys in there, white and black. I have no clue as to whether they are having unprotected sex or not.

Hotel Duque Wellington in Santo Domingo, I believe promotes itself as a gay friendly hotel.

I grew up in New York City, I have known a lot of gay people. I am not judgmental. From what I have seen, many gays no not have to travel to the Dominican Republic to get their freak on. Some gay men like George Michael and Larry Craig are happy to get their rocks off in public bathrooms here in the states.

Throughout the Dominican Republic there are a good number of transvestites, you can see them in Classicos in Sosua, in Puerto Plata in Playa Dorada complex, on the streets of santo domingo and santiago at night. They must have clients otherwise they would not be standing out in the street every night. Who their clients are, local guys or foreigners, I have no clue.

Any other commandments?Damn, great post very informative. But you have to sort through what's propaganda and whats real. Alot of the Dr statistics are fabricated due to the fact that they need the tourist trade. But from my observations, homosexuality is not prevalent nor widely acceptable there. I can count on both hands the openly gay males iv'e seen in three years.

From a personal stand point, if a girl refuses a condom on the first time, sex is out with her. So I can't believe a heath gay male would accept sex from a complete stranger without a condom.

This is my last post on this subject because it depresses me, but I can't believe that hiv is running rampant in the DR. Stay away from girls in the drug culture and always strap up.

I have stayed at the Duque de Wellington. It is OK--nothing special, and conveniently located. I didn't see any sign of overt gay activity on the night I was there, but they do make small charge for guests.

They were quite helpful when a non pro girl showed up to see me when I already had two other girls upstairs with me. They sat her down to wait, and then called me in the room when the others left and announced the latest arrival.

I can't say I understand the logic of this.

It would be unusual for a girl to refuse a condom on the first encounter unless she is a practicing and very devout Catholic, or she wanted to get pregnant.

I think the imputation of the article is that gay male sex tourists are exploiting poverty-stricken young Dominican men by insisting on unprotected sex (even though they know they are themeselves HIV +ve). I don't think it was implied that the Dominican men were refusing to use condoms, though, of course Dominican men rarely use condoms with women.

My assumption is that we are talking about gay sex tourists performing anal sex on paid Dominicans, and not the other way around--but who knows?

I think actually that one of the reasons why Dominican women are sexually very enthusiastic with visitors is that they CAN negotiate safe sex, which they can't do with Dominican men, so with Dominican men they are always at risk of pregnancy.

I'm must thinking back to a very tall girl I found a couple of weeks ago standing just outside the Jaragua Casino. I saw her there subsequently, so that is probably her regular pitch. I took her to my hotel room and paid her 1200 pesos for short time and she performed like a devil and quite wore me out. In fact her sexual enthusiasm exceeded mine, as I would have been quite happy with a quickie and go to sleep. There was no need for her to perform so energetically, so she must have been enjoying the sex for the sake of sex, or else she thought I was husband material--but this is unlikely.

I can see some of these male wannabe tourist guides who just latch on to you being more of a nuisance than a problem. Nothing I can't handle.

RegardsThe other heads up about Santo Domingo, is about the traffic in Santo Domingo. If you stay in the area near the Riazor hotel and you want to visit venues that are not close to that area, try to visit those venues in the middle part of the day before 4pm or after 7pm at night. Rush hour traffic can be very, very slow. Try not to visit distant locals during rush hour or you will be sitting in very slow moving traffic.

From the area around the hotel riazor, you can walk to girl's house, sky house, baby dolls, foxys, la parada, el conde in zona colonial, bar 360 in zona colonial, (if you want entertainment during the hours of evening rush hour traffic).

GBP is not too far away from the area near hotel riazor, but not walking distance.

RegardsIf you are in a beach town then shorts and a t shirt are fine. In a city like Santo Domingo or Santiago, pants and nice shirt usually will keep you from being approached by some types of people. I'll give a few examples. I have stayed in Santiago at the hotel hodelpa centro plaza and during the day I will put on shorts and a t shirt and drive over to the pool in the hotel el gran almirante. Wearing the shorts and a t shirt in the street, I had old ladies and other people approach me asking for money. Same thing happened on el conde in zona colonial, I had on a t-shirt and shorts for the beach and I took a walk on el conde and I was approached by various people looking for a handout.

Wearing pants and a button down shirt I get approached less.

What if you got a chica pregnant with no protection. Can they track you down once you leave the island? No cell phone number, etc.?Well, if she didn't know who you were, then she wouldn't be able to track you down. Perhaps if she had a lawyer on the case, she might be able to get some information from a hotel registration--I don't know.

But in most cases where visitors are having unprotected sex with a chica, there is some kind of relationship and she knows who he is. There are plently of Dominican or other Hispanic lawyers in the United States who would help her to get a settlement.

If I you got a chica pregnant and she carried the baby to term, you would have to provide financial support for the child. Anyway, surely you wouldn't disown your own child.

For 25 years my own wife did not know who her father was, and this caused her a great deal of unhappiness. Eventually she succeeded in finding out, and it wasn't a great happy story, because it turned out that he had been in the US illegally and had spent 18 years in prison. But she is now happier that she knows who she is and has discovered several new brothers and sisters. However, I wouldn't wish that fate on anyone.

Berthold

What if you got a chica pregnant with no protection. Can they track you down once you leave the island? No cell phone number, etc.?I very much doubt, that they can track somebody down espcially if the person lives far away. I also very much doubt that they can/will get any information from a hotel registration due to data security. I work in the hospitality industry here in the D.R. and for example if you want to make a phonecall from room 1 to room 2 in the hotel where i work you will get conected to the guest service center, and in order to get conected to the other room you will have to provide the other guest's first and lastname for instance.

I don`t think it is posible that a girl shows up at some hotel lobby and is like me llamo jasmin tenia sexo con un gringo y ahora estoy embarazada, por favor que me traigan sus datos personales.

It might be different if the girl gets a lawyer involved, but at the same time i really ask myself how many girls do have the financial resources to get a lawyer involved, but again this is only my humble opinion.

Boriman
02-17-10, 18:30
Adding to what Berthold said,
Whenever I used the phone at the hotel I was staying at in Sosua the operator never asked me for a name. I guess they should, for obvious security purposes, but I am guessing that policies differ from place to place. Hotel staff at many of the places I stayed are well trained not to give out information on the customers. I have had chicas ask the desk clerk about me and the clerks did not provide the requested information.

Also, it is not uncommon for a chica to say that someone has gotten them pregnant and it was actually someone else. This was so common that from what I last recall the US Embassy in Santo Domingo used to give DNA tests to verify paternity (at the time the test was something like $600. Someone quoted me the price. I did not check this out myself.)

These chicas have sex with so many guys that it is difficult to tell who the real papa is. Also, they usually get pregnant because many believe that the father of the child will take them out or the country, or even will start sending money to support the child.

It is common, from my experience, to see many chicas whose fathers are tourists. Short of marriage (which most of the times does not work out if they move to the states) the usual case is that the tourist will give the mother money whenever he visits the island and eventually he will stop coming. The mother will lose touch with him.

Finally, the U.S. has an extradition treaty with the Dominican Republic yet I never heard of a case where an American has been extradited to the Dominican Republic. For a chica to hunt down the father of the child (assuming that is the correct father) she would have to obtain a lawyer, who would in turn need the necessary paperwork to gain access to identifying information from the hotel, who in turn must know enough about international law to find the person in question (there are not many good lawyers on the island), and then have him extradited. This would take years, and alot of money. Many chicas do not have the economic resources, intelligence (I do not know how accurate this information is but someone told me that 40% graduate only 4th grade while only 8% graduate high school) and patience to pursue such a matter. Even if they did have the money they would many times spend it on gambling, clothing, the hairdresser and other luxuries. What if you got a chica pregnant with no protection. Can they track you down once you leave the island? No cell phone number, etc.?Depends on a lot of variables. If you met some chica in a bar and took her to a cabana and got her pregnant, and afterward you used a taxi that dropped you off at some location that was not your hotel, then it would very difficult for the chica to track you down. Most hotels have you fill out a registration form with your name and address and they usually make a copy of your passport. If the chica knows the hotel where you stayed, she could potentially bribe someone at the hotel to try and get your information.

Even if she were to find you, from what I understand (I could be wrong) she would need to file a claim for child support here in the United States or whatever country where you live. For her to do that, she would need to get a Visa to visit the US. Visas are not easy to get for most Dominicans.

If she is humping you without a condom and she knows nothing about you, more than likely she is humping other guys without a condom, which calls into question who is the real father of the baby.

The chica could potentially go the dominican government with your information and claim you are a dead beat dad and I have read stories where guys were prevented from leaving the Dominican Republic until they made some financial settlement with the mother.

They do sell the morning after pill at pharmacies in Dom Rep.

This info was given to me by a very prominent attorney. Bottom line is wear a raincoat, these chicas have been with anywhere from dozens to thousands of guys, why would you want to bareback them?

ThanksCarey House, sounds like it may suite you, BQ RIBS has stayed there, maybe he can give his opinion. Riazor is not bad, close to everything.

Driving around Santo Domingo at night you will see working girls in the streets. If you have want to shield the novia from that, don't take her near Avenida Independencia at night, or parts of the malecon at night, or the Jaragua Casino, or Hotel Melia at night.

At least ten people dead, mostly women and at least one baby. Not monger related, but some mongers drive on that highway and others take gua guas to boca chica. At about the 5 minute mark of the video they start showing the dead bodies after they were pulled from the sea. Sad.

Riazor is good, conveniently located at the back gate of Jaragua, and has nice rooms, four poster beds, convenient to local stores and restaurants. Scented soap in the bathrooms, nice towels, marble tile flloors, artwork in the lobby. I like it.

Although it is chica friendly, meaning you can take a girl up to your room, it is by no means a monger hotel and doesn't have chicas hanging around or anything like that.

I think the other member was worried about the chica putting a squeeze on him in the country where he lives.

Extradition, I believe only applies to criminal cases. I believe most family courts here in the United States would require the mother and the child to be present during any paternity/child support hearings. With no Visa to travel to the United States, I don't think the mother would be able to avail herself with the Courts here.

If the dude travels to DR, then that is whole different ballgame, he better find a new country to monger in. Although the cash settlements to the mother are sometimes not great amounts of money, from what I have read.

Carey House is $43 a night but the rooms are small. The hotel is very clean, has a restaurant, WiFi in the rooms and without putas in the area. Request a second floor room as for some reason the first floor rooms will not receive a cell phone signal. The site advertises a frig in the room but that is hit or miss.

I went to check in Carey House the other day but they did not have a room with frig so I went to Jaguar Hotel which always have frig, WiFi, and A/C at $55 a night. Best rooms at Jaguar are 202, 201, and 204 in that order. (or 302, 301, 304) You won't see putas hanging around Jaguar either.

Jaguar is much closer to Avenida Independencia which makes getting around the city much easier. I enjoy both of these hotels.

Casa Australia is above Avenida John F Kennedy. A round trip taxi ride will probably set you back 300 pesos. Most cabbies will charge you going and coming even if they sit and wait a few minutes for you to pick up your chica.

I have been staying away from Australias lately as she has too many chicas without cedulas. No, they are NOT college students at Australias.

I'm sitting here waiting for my taxi and I will be in sunny DR by 1PM. I'm in country until Thursday.

Then off to Peru for 1 week and then back to DR on the 3rd of March.

PM or search the thread for my number.

I have a new novia a girl that lives outside of Bani. She's what's referred as a camposina. She lives in the country side not to up on city life, but hot as hell.

2 days in Juan Dolio with her, 2 day in the capital, 1 day with the ex-novia.

The new novia wants me to take all sorts of pictures of her. I'm bringing a new bikini for her and some lingerie. I'll post once I'm back.

There a few chicas who hang out at the bars but they seem to specialize in the un-informed gringo type. I was drinking a presidente at El Tipico bar and the owner called a few chicas. About ten minutes later three chicas drove up on a pasola. I took a quick look and sent them on their merry way.

Quite a few Haitian chicas in Las Terrenas. I did not see any of the chica type I prefer. I go for them carmel colored big ass Dominicanas. That's my liking.

Las Terrenas would be a nice quiet get away but bring a chica with you. The town is so small you can have half the beach all to yourself.

It's all an adventure but leave your heart at the airport. It's her loss.Like somebody mentioned on this board before, when you leave DR its probably best to throw away all the numbers you accumulated because for the most part the chicas you met (esp. if they are in Sosua) just wanted you for your money. As men, I'm sure most of our instincts is to be wanted and when you go to DR and meet all these bootyful needy girls, you want to help, but most of these chicas are so messed up in the head that they don't know how to slow down or stop. They will lie. Lie. And lie again. They will tell you they are not going to the disco but all of a sudden her phone is off at 11 pm at night. Its a game. Very few can be saved but for the most part, have your fun and then RUN. LOL. Think about it. If a chicas sux 50 dicks. Whats 1 more? Whats 2 more? And if you do find a decent girl, and you can't send her at least $500 a month, she will do what she has to do and if she is bootyful and knows she can get from $60 to $100 a day/night then your little $500 bux a month aint shit. A girl once told me that some of these girls make $1000 US a week but at the end of the day they have nothing to show for it because they spend all their money on clothes and getting their hair done.

The moral of the story is to keep these chicks in a box and don't mix fantasy with reality. If you keep in contact with them, don't send them money unless you have established a bonafide friendship because these girls are some of the best actors you have ever seen. And if you send them money, don't send them a lot. If you like one or two of them, take your time to get to know them and understand their lifestyle. Make sure you lead with your big not, not the little one. LOL.

I spent almost a week with this little darling (I prefer to pre-arrange my affairs thru the internet, rather than hitting the streets or clubs). She never asked for a dime. I actually tried to give her some cash and she would not take it.

I know a guy who tried to wife up Ana at Latino Bar in Sosua (shes latino stock. Black hair. Nice tits. But monster gut). He bought her an engagment ring and the whole 9. Our Dominican buddy told us that she still has her 'papi chulo'. When my friend comes to DR, the guy leaves and goes elsewhere because he knows my friend will pay the rent, etc. He even bought the ***** a stove. Oh. And the ring. The ***** took 3 stones out the ring and pawned them. Imagined that. He paid her rent but for some reason she needed more money and pawned 3 diamonds out the ring. This is definitely good advice. One should look at these types of vacations as nothing more than a fantasy. However it is easier said than done at times. Those feelings can sneak up on anyone and next thing you know you are shelling out $500 a week, and filling out visa paperwork. One monger once told me that you should monitor yourself at all times and when those first feelings of emotional attachment start to appear that one should distance himself and move on to another woman.

Hey guys,

Just got back from DR last Friday. Did my regular rounds and was informed of a new club that opened last week or so I'm told, It's called Club 305 and its on Independencia just a few buildings on the opposite side of Villar Hermanos. Walked there from Girls House. I was able to get some info about the club from the chicas at Girl's House and Sky High, apparently the club is owned by "Miguel El Cubano" or "Cuban Miguel" previous owner of Girl's House and Climax in Boca Chica. Anyway's the chicas seem to like Miguel and the way he runs his clubs. Couple of the chicas confessed they are thinking about moving over.

So I walked down Pasteur Street made a right at Villar Hermanos and spotted the neon sign for Club 305, went in very nice set up, spacious not crowded, about 25 chicas Wednesday and thrusday night, most of them between 6's and 7's maybe a couple of 8's (obviously that depends on your taste), some of the chicas live at the club and some live off premises. Pricing well, like all others they will start at 3500 but 2500 seems to work just fine. Drinks are expensive compared to Girls House and some others. I did not take any of the girls, but that does not mean any of the girls caught me eye, there are quite a few I saw I wouldn't mind sampling. Anyway I will be in Dom Rep again in about two weeks so I will definitely take sample something from the menu at 305.

Do you have a cross street? I could check it out next week. According to the monger map, Venus de Milo is located close to Ave. Nunez Caceres.

Has anyone visited this place before?Sorry, I didn't make up to that place my last trip. I will definitely try to find it my next trip. Problem with that place is that it is kind of a long ride from Gascue (neighborhood around Hotel Riazor) and usually the traffic on Avenida Kennedy near that location is usually terrible, especially now since they have about 4 lanes of Avenida Kennedy (autopista Duarte) closed for the construction of a new overpass. Across from Corripio helps, Corripio is an electronics chain store that they have throughout the Dom Rep, with the red awnings outside.

On the side of the street opposite Villar Hernanos, there is a bon ice cream shop, a small colmado a parking lot for Villar Hernanos and at the next corner there is large colmado across the street from hotel la cosana dorada. Is 305 on this side of Independencia past the parking lot for Villar Hernanos? Thanks.

Villar Hermanos is 312 Independencia so 305 should be just a little east in the same block at the other side of the street.

That would be correct. I walked past the place several times last week and never noticed it. Finally I "found" casa 305. It is on the right hand side of Villar's parking lot. The casa sits back from the sidewalk about 15-20 feet and is dimly lit at night. The only light I recall was a blue neon sign, "305", above the door. There is an awning covered walkway leading to the entrance door with a bouncer standing outside.

I didn't bother to go in because the price range I have read is a little steep for my wallet. Actually any casa in that area is out of my price range.

hotel venezia is located on avenida independencia a five minute walk from pacos at el conde, and quite naturally chica friendly. the rooms are small but very clean and comfortable. the main entrance is a small iron gate where someone buzzes you in but you can buzz yourself out. adjacent to the hotel is a large parking lot with a motorized iron gate. there is a pico pollo, farmacia, fruit stand, juice stand, small colmado, and gas station with in one block of the hotel.

i have tried several times to make an online reservation but hotel venezia never replies. i arrived in santo domingo from las terrenas and needed a room for three nights. i took my chances and checked for availability. i was quoted $45 for one person, $50 for two people, and 300 pesos if i want a guest. i tell the desk clerk i will be having company in thirty minutes and hand her $140 for the three nights. i am expecting $5 change but she says that will be the charge for the guest. thirty minutes two chicas arrive and i escort them to my room. their chica policy is somewhat vague. i had chicas come and go the next two days and didn't pay anything extra.

the entire hotel is non-smoking so bring some air freshner or hang your head out the window. all in all the hotel is a nice alternative for a nice quiet room. there is an onsite restaurant, internet by the hour, cerveza, and booze all at hotel slightly inflated prices. all rooms have free high speed wifi.

there are no chicas hanging around the hotel.........

There is a modern style Carol pharmacy close by to hotel venezia on independencia, that pharmacy has a sign saying they are open 24/7. There is another pharmacy nearby, on the northwest corner, that is also open 24/7.

Looks like some of the rooms in hotel venezia have balconies from your photos.

Damn dude, you must have this town memorized...........LOL

As you approach the fork in the road where the large gas station is and several government buildings Venezia would be on the north side of independencia.

The balcony rooms are larger rooms with cooking facilities. The location is good especially for those new to SD as it is very close (4 blocks) to parque independencia and at night there are always a few street ladies nearby.

$45 a night with free WiFi in the room is not a bad deal.

I don't know what those people are waiting for. There are many medical offices nearby there too (gascue the area around hotel riazor has many medical offices, plastic surgeons and others).

The communist party headquarters and a big lamp store are also on Avenida Indepedencia past the hotel navarro going east. I passed some other place that had a hand written sign offering rooms (habitaciones) on the north side of independencia a few blocks before the cemetery. In front of parque independencia there is some building that houses some television station.

Sometimes it is easier to walk to zona colonial from avenida pastuer and avenida Independencia, than take the car.

It used to be (about 5 years ago) that there were a number of massage parlors not too far from the Jaragua casino and one could go, get a nice massage and a bit of sex. It was, if I remember correctly, not terribly expensive. This was one of my favorite lunchtime activities.

Then there was a crackdown, and my favorite daytime places were closed. Does anyone know if any massage parlors are currently available in or near the Zona Colonial?

Does anyone know if any massage parlors are currently available in or near the Zona Colonial?I was shown a massage place during my last trip to sdq. They have a sign outside in spanish, saying something about therapy for the spine. It is on calle cervantes, two houses up from the PLD political headquarters which is on Independencia and Cervantes. The massage place is on the same side of the street as the la cadena supermarket and it is directly next to that supermarket when walking up from Independencia (on the left hand side of cervantes). 800 pesos for a normal massage, 1200 or 1300 pesos for a masturbation massage. Place is nice enough inside, I saw one massage room, looked clean. 4 chicas the afternoon I visited.

A short light skin guy who is always on Pasteur showed me the place. That same short guy, I saw working at Girl's House at the front door. He told me there was another more expensive similar type massage place on cervantes, I thought he said the number was 55 cervantes or 155 cervantes, I checked both those numbered houses and didn't see any massage place.

From the back entrance for the Jaragua Hotel and Casino, take a right onto Avenida Independencia, the second street will be cervantes, make a left and it is on that street on the left before the supermarket.

There is also a place for non-sexual massage in zona colonial, last time I was there, 500 pesos for a massage.

Not in or near zona colonial is Dream House on Autopista las Americas near the racetrack (look for the place on map link) . They promote themselves on classified ads as a place that provide ayurvedic and tantric massages with happy endings, body to body, 2, 4 or six hands. Here are a few pics from their ad:

I have been there and had a delightful massage from Janni and her cousin whose name I forget. They are absolutely charming and highly recommended. The cousin, not shown in these photos, is absolutely gorgeous and has the most perfect body I have ever seen. She should be cast in bronze and displayed at Las Americas Airport as a symbol of Dominican womanhood.

However it is a bit pricey if you have to get a taxi out there, wait for an hour, and return to Santo Domingo. Still, not to be missed. Get them while they are still young and fresh. You can find their ads on Mundoanuncio.com

La Vega is probably the "wildest" carnival but the largest is in Santo Domingo the first Sunday in March. The best of all other cities show up for this carnival. I attended in March of 08 and will be back this year. Anyone plan on being in SD this coming Sunday send me a PM.

Maison Gatreux is fine. When you check in ask for single occupancy, to pay about 45 per night. I never had a problem in maison gatreux with chicas visiting me even though I paid for only one person (not double occupancy).

If you ask for double occupancy (two people in the room) the rate goes up to about 60. The rooms have digital safes, very small hotel, 300 feet from Intercontinental V Centenario Hotel, 2 1/2 blocks to Melia Hotel, 3 1/2 blocks to Jaragua Hotel and Casino. Free wifi.

Hotel Navarro is 1500 pesos per night, located up the street from Maison Gatreux. Next door to Hotel Navarro is hotel Duque Wellington, not sure of the price for Duque Wellington. On Pasteur between the malecon and Avenida Independencia next to Girls' House is Hotel Mystik, also about 50-55 per night. Hotel Riazor would be about 2-3 blocks from there, directly behind Jaragua Hotel and Casino.

Another smaller hotel near Maison Gatreux is Hotel Alcadeza, small hotel on a side street that runs parallel to the malecon, between the malecon and Avenida Independencia. I have not stayed at Alcadeza, I would imagine they would be chica friendly.

I have at stayed at Maison Gatreux probably 6 times, never had a problem there. I usually ask for a room on the first floor. Some of the rooms on the other floors have a view of the water. First floor was easy for me, no steps to walk up.

I stayed at Maison Gatreux quite recently. I thought it was fine in all respects except that the room (on the ground floor) was really crummy. Lousy bathroom TV not working, ugly decor, very basic, basic bed with lousy sheets... Breakfast is good and the people are friendly.

I have also stayed at the Riazor, where for $15 more you can have a beautiful room with marble tiles bathroon, 4-poster bed, 4 pillows, etc. Breakfast also included at restaurant next door.

Duque de Wellinton lies somewhere in between the two.

You pays your money and you takes your choice.

Hilton has very nice rooms, but prices at the hilton run from 120-200 per night.

Also with the earthquake in Haiti, occupancy rates are up in Santo Domingo.

At the Maison Gatreux I stayed in a room on the first floor directly straight in front of the entrance after the lobby desk. That room had a very small window, folding doors to the bathroom. Basic room. I had fun in that room.

Lately, I usually budget around 100 per night for lodging in Santo Domingo (depends on how I feel, whether I want to stay in a nicer place or pay less and stay in a more basic place).

Hotel Palacio in zona colonial is very nice for around 100. I also like the hotel embajador for around 90 per night (best pool in sdq).

The last two trips I have stayed at a two bedroom condo on the malecon, I paid 100 the first trip (I was with a wingman and we shared the expenses so I paid less than 100) and 150 the last trip (I was not happy about paying 150 per night, but Hotel Palacio was fully booked and many other sdq hotels were fully booked after the Haiti earthquake). Expensive, but the convenience is great, no paperwork, no check out times, come and go as I please, plus a full kitchen.

I had some fun times in Maison Gatreux. Walked in and walked out with chicas in the maison gatreux never a problem.

Originally it was supposed to be a 2 nights visit, but my buddy and I had to change plans to accomodate a visit to the whales in Samanà bay.

By car, with the new autopista it takes less than 3 hours from Samanà to SD.

Anyway we got into town around half past five on a Thursday, and after some rest we went to Girl's House, where we were greeted by all the girls present, who quickly surrounded us.
A couple of stunners for those who like them tall and leggy, and a couple of chicas with the biggest boobs I ever laid eyes upon.

Chatted for a while with them, then off to dinner at Manolo's (decent food but nothing more), then the Jaragua casino, then Lapsus. Only a few girls present around midnight, so we left after a quick drink.

Finally, even though it had to be new since I never read anything about it on the ISG, we cautiously entered in a bar: 350. I figured someone would report about it very fast, and as a matter of fact it has been reviewed a few times already.
No cover charge, plenty of girls and most importantly open until 3 or 4 in the morning.
My friend thinks they had rooms for in house frolics.
Price is "fixed" at 3500 pesos, pay the bar. I got my girl to lower it with the cashier to 3000, and promised her the other 500 if she offered excellent service.

Booked at the Riazor long ago and confirmed a couple days prior to my arrival, but once arrived I was treated to some lame excuse and suggested to go to "La Casona Dorada".
I know it comes highly recommended, and I had great hopes, but the Riazor gets obviously crossed off of the list of hotels I would return.

La casona Dorada is dirty and run down but girlfriendly, and the staff helpful.

Weekend rates are much cheaper at the sdq hilton. I checked in with my girlfriend, no extra charge for her as she was with me at check in.

You can enter the Hilton through the lobby or through the parking garage on the 4th or 5th floor. I am not sure how they keep track of what chicas you bring in, if you enter and exit through the parking garage.

Hilton has very nice rooms, but prices at the Hilton run from 120-200 per night.

When I last stayed at the Hilton about 2 years ago the chica needed a cedula and they charged $16.00 plus tax to bring her in. They would keep the cedula until she left. They have the best security system of any hotel. I f your room is on the 8th floor when you put the key in the elevator it will only go to 8th floor or the 6th where the pool and resteraunts are.

Any thoughts?I am fairly certain that at least one room in hotel palacio has a jacuzzi in the room (you can send them an email or check the photos that people post on tripadvisor.com). Hotel Palacio is chica friendly, most times they make a copy of the chica's cedula. Many cabanas have jacuzzis in the rooms. Usually a hotel room with a jacuzzi will cost more.

Pictures were taken in front of Hotel Napolitano. Look at pic #5, the 4th girl from left to right, her hat is covering the balcony of the room I stayed on May 2009 with my cousin. The girls we hired from Casa Azul were smoking naked in that mini balcony, the guard in front of hotel pool and some employees from pool restaurant were with their mouths open. It was the best night of my trip. It was nice to enter later to the casino with the girls in our arms, everybody staring at us. Here is a pic of Lilliam, one of the girls, which actually works at Baby dolls.

Now that baseball season is well over with and carnaval has ended....... what's the next best cheap date with a chica. Take her to the movies!

There are two movie theaters on the malecon in Santo Domingo. Cinema Centro is the best and there is also the cinema in the Malecon Center.

Both theaters have a last movie starting just a little after 9pm. The ticket cost will be anywhere from 50 pesos to 200, all depending on the movie and the night you go. All theaters have the latest run movies usually in English with Spanish subtitles. Animation movies are usually Spanish only.

Ask your special chica of the day if she wants to go to the movies that night. My thoughts are almost always she will say yes..... and if you are smart ask her if she has a friend that may want to come also......

The late movie will end a little after 11pm so plan to stop at a local colmado and sip some presidente, brugal, eat and talk about what to do in the next few hours.

This is a win win situation for guys that know the lay of the land in SD.

I have had chicas ask me to take them to the movies in Santo Domingo. I know the movie theater in the Malecon Center, I don't know the other Movie theater on the Malecon.

There are museums, botanical garden, zoo, aquarium and concerts. There are several museums in Zona Colonial, one of which is about the time of the dictator trujillo, lots of photos and they have a small car (If I remember correctly a Volkswagen beetle) that Trujillo's henchman would use, they would throw the person they were after behind the front seats and drive them to a location to sometimes be tortured or killed.

Taking a chica to the movies is just one of many things you can do in Santo Domingo. The only thing SD lacks is a beach. For daytime fun walking El Conde with your chica is probably the first thing anyone does. That is only the start. Take a publico or $5 taxi to the mall and "window shop". You might also want to go to the Zoo, yeah it sounds corny buy chicas love this stuff. IKEA recently opened in SD and chicas go crazy in there just looking at stuff they dream about owning, not to mention they have a nice restaurant. The year old subway, Metro, is another cheap option. For 20 pesos a piece you can ride to the last stop Villa Mella and walk around. Buy some chicharrones and a cold coca-cola.

Just before sunset there is the recently opened plaza on the malecon near the monument to visit. There are several small buildings selling pizza, Rico hot dogs, ice cream, and my favorite the Mexican place. You want to splurge a little bit more you must at least once go to Adrian Tropical restaurant on the malecon. Get a table next to the sea and sip on a tropical drink while you wait for dinner.

I can go on and on about things to do in SD but SD in not the place for guys looking for point and click chicas. You have to be willing to put in some time to learn the lay of the land. For me the rewards are well worth it.

Tonight I may either take my chica to Chef Pepper restaurant for some ribs or one of the cozy sidewalk spots on Tirantes. No need to tell you where the last stop will be. LOL

Another hands down winner is tell your chica you need to buy a shirt and ask her if she wants to go to Plaza Lama or La Sirena. hahahaha She will say yes so fast. You won't buy a shirt but you will end up buying her a blouse so just deduct that money from your chica fee or let the blouse be a propina.

For those in Santo Domingo on March 12 there is a free live show in the new Plaza Juan Baron near the monument (Rotondo Oblisko) on the malecon. They were testing out the sound system around midnight on Thursday. Once on the malecon the plaza will be easy to find since you can hear the music five blocks away.

This pic is over a year old and now most of the buildings are occupied. There is a pizza place, Rico hot dogs, a Mexican spot, ice cream, booze, and a few other vendors.

Chicas are still plentiful in SD you just need to get out and walk about. I did a nice long walk tonight and chicas were in Jaragua Casino, Avenida Independencia, malecon, Pacos restaurant. I doubt if I was able to walk two blocks without seeing chicas.

I took my chica of the day to Chef Pepper restaurant. I usually get take out from here but this evening we ate at the restaurant. Come early to avoid waiting sometimes up to an hour to get a table.

Thanks, but as you probably know Santo Domingo is not for everyone. I believe just a very small percentage of guys on this board prefer SD. I started out in Sosua doing the how many chicas a day can I bang thing. After 5 or 6 trips that stuff started to get boring, same old thing everyday. I knew there had to be more to rep dom than just Sosua so I tried SD.

The most important thing with me is to maintain at least one or two solid chicas to contact. Once you have that everything else just falls in place. Most guys are looking for the GFE in bed but in SD you can extend that to enjoying the town.

To spice up the evening check into one of the numerous cabanas with the gigantic whirpool tub. Just remember to bring at least two chicas. Weekend nights Jaragua Hotel/Casino has local live entertainmet free but the drinks are pricey. Last night I stopped in Copa Disco for the first time. This place is for high rollers. LOL

With all the trips I have made to SD there are still plenty of things on my to do list. Every trip I say I will go to Tres Ojos, the underground caves, and have never made it. There is also a restaurant Mesa de la Cava? I want to go to, never have. I recently discovered Avenida Tirantes just above 27 de febreo where you will find some really nice places to chill. Just about anything you would want to do will be a $5 taxi ride or less.

Most, if not all guys will start out touring Zona Colonial. After numerous trips you end up like me, going to IKEA for lunch. LOL

BBQ these are some of the best SD reports I've read.

How much of a budget would you recommend for someone ? Do you think $120/150 a day would cover all costs minus daily hotel expenses ?

Ass ($30/50 for el conde sw's or up to $70+drinks for the casas)
Food- mid range sit down place
Drinks
Transport- I would imagine at least 2 RT cab rides a day.
Snacks

It seems like if you go this route with pro action you might as well choose brazil or something similar. Minus of course the cheap ticket to SD or you better have done your non pro internet homework prior to coming like in lima peru.

However it seems like non pro action in SD could be equal to or more expensive than pro action...true or false?

The beauty of dating non pros somewhere like lima is you can take them out on the town for nothing. It doesn't seem like SD is that kind of place.

The beauty of dating non pros somewhere like lima is you can take them out on the town for nothing. It doesn't seem like SD is that kind of place. There are more SW's on the Malecon and Ave. Independencia, than on El Conde (Zona Colonial late at night is almost empty).

I have read where some guys get the SW'S for 500 pesos. I have been quoted 1000 (27 US Dollars) on the street. GBP had a happy hour (two chicas), 2000 pesos (55 dollars).

Non-pro action, depends upon how much you or the chica eats and drinks. Large Bottle of Presidente beer 75 pesos (2 dollars) in a non-fancy bar. In coppa disco a small bottle of presidente beer is 150 pesos (about 4 dollars). If you want a table reserved for you, you have to buy a bottle of vodka or scotch, cost is around 150 dollars. If you are with a group of 4 people, buying a bottle works out to about 40 dollars per person.

If you get a hotel with a kitchen or kitchenette, you can buy food in the Supermarkets and eat in. Spaghetti is cheap and easy and filling. With some non-pro chicas you can ask them to prepare the food.

If you like nightlife and want to be in the fancy places you can drop some coin in Santo Domingo. On the other hand there are ways to live cheaply in Santo Domingo. Some non-pro chicas will be happy if you give them 1000-1500 pesos.

Different casas charge different prices. GBP prices are good and I have read about a place on ave kennedy that has good prices.

Taxis 150 to 200 pesos.

I have just learned enough Spanish for people to understand what I am saying. As of now I can't understand spoken Spanish. That obelisk (with a large pair of children's shoes, niños calzados, hanging from it) sits in the middle of the malecon (with the plaza off to the side jutting into the sea).

When I want to go east on the malecon in the direction of zona colonial and the airport, I enter the malecon where that obelisk is situated. From Avenida Independencia, I make a right turn on a street about three blocks east of avenida pasteur. When entering the malecon where that obelisk is situated, the traffic slows for the stones embedded in the street and you have more room to merge onto the malecon (going east) after crossing in front of two lanes of westbound traffic.

One night Fernando Villalona performed at the plaza there, I could see and hear it from the apartment where I was staying.

Last night I stopped in Copa Disco for the first time. This place is for high rollers. LOLThe first time I met Mr GoGo in Santo Domingo, I wound up going to coppa disco later in the night. Some chica who I met online, maybe I saw one photo of her before meeting her, I was not sure what she looked like. I had her phone number and called her and asked her to meet me at Bar Atarazana in zona colonial, it was a Thursday night, open bar and the place was packed.

As is the case with most chicas on a first date they always bring along a friend or cousin (every time the friend or cousin they bring is always less attractive than the chica I am meeting). That night I was in Atarazana Bar with Mr GoGo and the chica from online shows up with her 50 year old aunt, who was not attractive. At that point Mr Gogo and I parted ways, I can't blame him, the Aunt was not attractive.

I eventually took the chica and the Aunt to Coppa disco (it is really like a medium sized bar, there is no dance floor). I got a spot near the bar and the chica stood in front of me for two hours, no real conversation as the music is loud. I had the 50 year old aunt to my left and the Aunt made friends with other people at Coppa.

The online chica grinded my dick with her ass for two hours. It was like her ass cheeks were a pair of hands the way she worked the johnson. Her back was to me the entire time and I was able to check out the eye candy in Coppa. The online chica was short, with good size boobs, not ugly, not gorgeous either. The way she grinded me, I could have a busted a nut in coppa.

I drove her home and got stopped by two polica nacional on a motorcycle, they were looking for money and I was pissed, ruined the mood for me so that was the end of the night, no sex. I never saw that chica again.

Interesting responses. I need to break down and go there one day just for the hell of it.

Would you say going during rainy season is a total wash out ? I know in sosua it's waste of time. No girls come out and you wind up staying in your hotel room or a bar.

I'm curious to know how helpful has the metro been ? Does it get the job done or do you still need to move around with cabs and guaguas?

Being a native new yorker I like the freedom to move without cabs.

* By the way that SW you paid more for in the casa is the classic "uptown/downtown" scenario. I laugh when guys tell me they wouldn't touch the budget hoes I bang at low end SA chongos. What they don't know is unless they shell out the big $ they are banging the same girls! The difference between a $70 hooker and a $30 hooker might only be the difference of well...40 *blocks.

It goes back to my male dominican domination assumption. Why cant the chica say i'm going to take care of my kids and mother and break from a freeloading Dominicano?Because the culture is centered around the Dominicano.I asked a Dominicana that has been born and raised in NewYork why she never visits the DR.Believe it or not but she said"be it a visit or phone call it all developes into giving money" she also said"if you dont help out then they say she's not Dominican anymore"WTF.

The aunt wasnt that bad for 50yo.I dont understand what is wrong for a girl to meet a guy for the first time alone,in a public place for a cocktail and conversation? But i didnt want to be a ball and chain and cockblock you.I figured id let you work your magic, sorry it didnt turn out well.

Alot of girls want to appear respectable by bringing relatives, but i hate to be graded by outsiders. The family seems to judge you by how much money you spend. If you spend money your the greatest, then when you say "no" your the worst

I dont understand the piling on.If my sister married a doctor i would be glad for her and never be a burden to them.Ive had girls say their relatives dont like me because i wont send money.

It goes back to my male dominican domination assumption. Why cant the chica say i'm going to take care of my kids and mother and break from a freeloading Dominicano?Because the culture is centered around the Dominicano.I asked a Dominicana that has been born and raised in NewYork why she never visits the DR.Believe it or not but she said"be it a visit or phone call it all developes into giving money" she also said"if you dont help out then they say she's not Dominican anymore"WTF.Some of the chicas are paranoid. Physically, most chicas are weaker than most guys and there are some bad dudes in this world (who do some evil stuff), so I can understand some of the paranoia that the chicas have. Just about always they come with a cousin, friend or other relative on the first date. If all goes well on the first date, the chica comes alone on the second date.

I had fun that night, After I was stopped by the police, I was not happy and I cursed out the Dominican Republic in front of the chica, which didn't sit too well with the chica. Now I try to be calm and not let stuff like that make me say stuff I shouldn't say, I lost out in the end, because if I would have kept my mouth shut and not sounded off, I probably would have gotten more from the chica.

In that courtyard you can smoke and hang out and have space and check out the chicas as they visit the restroom. It was crazy packed that night, 20 minutes to get a drink at the bar, with people pushing and trying to cut in front of me. Other nights it is more calm.

Would you say going during rainy season is a total wash out ? I know in sosua it's waste of time. No girls come out and you wind up staying in your hotel room or a bar.

I'm curious to know how helpful has the metro been ? Does it get the job done or do you still need to move around with cabs and guaguas?

Being a native new yorker I like the freedom to move without cabs.I have traveled during Hurricane season, only one trip many years to Sosua, did it rain everyday for 4-5 days. In Santo Domingo it sucks when there is a heavy rain, some streets get flooded, but I can never remember having 2 or 3 days of rain in Santo Domingo. Usually the sun will be out the next day after a heavy rain. There are always chicas out in Santo Domingo, except maybe during the main holidays.

The Metro has a very limited run. I believe it runs under Avenida Maximo Gomez. There is a metro stop near the Cemetery on Maximo Gomez. I have yet to ride the Metro.

Being from New York City, Santo Domingo is a little similar, however the train transit system in NYC has about 600 miles of tracks. The Metro in Santo Domingo I don't know the exact length, but I would be surprised if it was more than 20 miles. Like NYC with the different boroughs (Brooklyn, Queens, Bronx and Staten Island), many people live outside the central part of Santo Domingo in areas like Zona Oriental, Herrera, Los Alcarizos. To get to those areas you have to take a taxi or gua gua or carro publico (unlike in NYC where you can hop on a train and go just about anywhere in the 5 boroughs, except Staten Island).

In NYC, certain areas in Manhattan are more expensive and in the outer boroughs prices are usually cheaper.

The main monger scene in Santo Domingo is an area called Gascue, near the bigger hotels on the Malecon. There are places outside of Gascue where the prices are better, but you will need to take a taxi, unless you want to walk for a while in the heat.

Bbq ribs,

You making me question my whole mongering mentality. Its always been bars, clubs, massages with an infrequent beach walk for that special one. Hell, Santo Domingo has a zoo?

That was the only post I ever printed to have for future reference.

There is a zoo, an aquarium, an aquatic park (Aqua Splash), Los Tres Ojos. Zoo park is located north of Cristo Rey and east of Arroyo Hondo, bordered by a river on its northern part. The Aquarium is on Ave Espana and is seafront. I visited the Aquarium and was not impressed, but the girls are going to like it. The thing I liked about the place is that is seafront so is a good place to sit in the gardens and relax with a chica.

I also visited Los Tres Ojos, located on Parque Mirador del Este eastern extreme, which is a small forest inside the city, with 4 small natural lakes and a small boat ride included in one of the lakes. You are going down and later up a few hundred steps. I liked this place. When I saw the movie Avatar I thought about Tres Ojos. Dominican Tarzan has been there for decades, he jumps like 40 ft height from the rocks into the water for a tip.

Aqua Splash water park is almost in front of the Aquarium.

Colombus Lighthouse has a museum and a nice view of the city.

You can also jump from a plane and fall seated to the tip of Obelisk monument...no, that last one is not true.

Places mentioned here are cheap, less than $5, some places charge more to foreigners , a dollar or two more but I tell the ticket seller that I live in Gazcue and she charged me as a local.

You can also visit Parque Mirador Sur in the southwest part of the city, sorrounded by exclusive condos and houses. It is a few kilometers long, it has jogging and bike lanes , a few recreational areas, a lake and botanical gardens.

The auto race track is to your right when coming from the direction of the airport going into santo domingo. I never figured out how to get on that service road that runs along las americas highway.

Supposedly off of las americas (on the service road) near avenida st vincent de paul is an orange house with chicas, maybe it is called ejecutivo, I never found that house.

Not the auto but the horse race track.

Coming from the airport make the very first right after the toll plaza. There is a sign there for Samana.

Coming from the city when you get to the end of avenida espana instead of staying to the right for autopista las americas stay to the left. There is a sign "Tunel Marginal Norte" (sp). As soon as you get on that road stay to the right. You will go under a tunnel and when you come out you are on the service road. The second way coming from the city would be take las americas heading to the airport. About two thirds of the way take the exit for Samana/Returno Santo Domingo.

Most times I take the service road into the city so I can stop on the way and have a presidente while chica watching.

... However it seems like non pro action in SD could be equal to or more expensive than pro action...true or false?

The beauty of dating non pros somewhere like lima is you can take them out on the town for nothing. It doesn't seem like SD is that kind of place. In reference to airfare, accommodations, transportation, and food, Lima, Peru is easily the best value in South America. I was there 16-months ago on vacation with my girlfriend (a Dominicana). From bullfights, to swimming with seals, to parasailing, there's more going on in Lima than Santo Domingo and both of us would return to Lima in a heartbeat.

Nevertheless, you're not going to experience the clear warm waters of the Caribbean and Peruvian women... well, you can find some pretty faces without the strong Indian features, but you're not going to find any Peruvianas with natural hourglass or lop-sided hourglass bodies (small-tits, small waist, big asses) like you'll find in Brazil or the Dominican Republic. I would say that the natural Peruvian body is flat (front and back) and rectangular (or like an inverted triangle).

It's hard to get the best of all world's, but for me it has always been body first.

Cheers!

I was just in Peru for work and 90% of the women there were unattractive, most had this aboriginal look to them most of the asses are flat. 2 girls that I was working with were attractive not beautiful. And 1 of them was Colombian.

The Zoo is actually pretty nice. They charge 100 pesos for locals and $10 bucks for gringos. I had a blast convicing the ticket seller I'm dominican, I'm as white as white can be, but I learned spanish in DR so my accent is authentic. I'm telling her I live in Los Caobas (serious barrio) with my girlfriend. She finally gave up and gave me the Dominican price.

Aqua Splash is that a water park like we have in the states? If so, I would like to check that out with the Novia.

Will report after my trip April 30--May 5.Only problem with BQ Hotel is that is a little far from Gazcue. There are working girls on Avenida Sarasota near BQ Hotel. Very close to BQ Hotel is Hotel El Embajador, I saw a group of working girls sitting on the steps of a plaza that is on the side street that takes you to the front of Hotel El Embajador. There is a popular restaurant on that side street as well. Some working girls hang around on the inside of the Hotel El Embajador, it has a very small casino.

One other thing, try not to travel on Avenida Sarasota during rush hour, bumper to bumper, very slow moving traffic. The Bella Vista shopping Mall should be close to Hotel BQ. About a 1/4 of a mile from BQ Hotel going west there is a nice shopping center that sits at the end of Sarasota.

Hot as hell. I rented with Alamo, they gave me a brand new silver nissan tiida, it has an alarm that went off twice, I have no clue how to shut it off, it goes off by itself after 5 minutes.

I spent the first night in Juan Dolio in embassy suites.

35 minutes from juan dolio to zona colonial sunday afternoon. 140 kph.

I met abr mainline near pacos around 5pm, I checked into Hotel Palacio, 112 per nt for two people. abr mainline was in the jaguar.

I took ABR mainline, to the place near foxys on the malecon (baby dolls), 4-5 chicas nothing great. We then drove to GBP, it was closed sunday afternoon. I then drove to casa theresa on ortega y gasset, it was 6pm and I was told by a worker there, they would open at 7pm. We then drove to casa azul on ave paraguay, very close to casa theresa.

Casa Azul had two skinny Santiago sisters. We left casa azul and went to casa theresa, some amazon type chicas, tall, big tetas.

We then drove to cats on ave mejia ricart near ave lope de vega in naco. It was closed on sunday (then club mc).

I then found the place on ave nunez de caceres, (no. 6), it is south of ave kennedy, across the street from some plaza that has a large sign on the top that says DC and then a bunch of businesses with their name under the DC.

Nice bar on the second floor up a flight of metal stairs. I had fun and I believe Abr mainline had fun.

I then drove abr mainline to the Jaguar Hotel where he checked out and drove him to the airport, we got to the airport around 1am. I then drove back to zona colonial and crashed.

to be continued.

The bar on the malecon near foxys is baby dolls, not a good lineup when I visited Sunday afternoon at around 5pm with ABR mainline.

On Sunday we also visited club mc near ave delfino. We were the only guys in the place, about 7 chicas. A dominicana with a bit of a Chinese face offered to do a threesome with ABR with a thin light skinned santiago chica, she called it a tortilla. Sandra is the boss in club mc. For the threesome the Chinese looking dominicana said 4000 pesos.

ABR and I finished the night at the bar at number 6 ave. Nunez de caceres. We were the only customers, 4 chicas. They have a stripper pole in the middle of the bar. I had my hands all over a tall busty dark skinned chica from santiago (I bought her a drink). The chica that ABR was chatting up spoke good english. There was a little bit of freaky dancing that night.

That bar is nice, clean, sort of modern, the bathroom has a glass door, parts of the door are clear and some parts are frosted, really no privacy and some of the chicas use that bathroom. They have a small patio outside with tables were you can smoke. DC (distributos corripio) is the sign across the street, further up the block on the same side of the street as the chica bar is a big banco popular on the corner of nunez de caceres and kennedy.

Today I hung around zona colonial and UASD (the university) with a cute chica who I met for the first time in person. Very pleasant chica. I have a different chica sleeping in my bed now as I write this.

To be continued.

I have always found SD to be quiet on Sundays. The best part of Sundays there is usually very little traffic. Most Sundays I will either hang out in Boca Chica during the day or just use the day as R&R. Sunday is definetly a day to have a few cell numbers to call a chica or two.

The thing ive learned from you is to memorize street names, and the surroundings.I always tend to not focus on important details like this.

you sure know how to bar hop...........

i have always found sd to be quiet on sundays. the best part of sundays there is usually very little traffic. most sundays i will either hang out in boca chica during the day or just use the day as r&r. sunday is definetly a day to have a few cell numbers to call a chica or two.it was abr mainline's first time in sdq, i wanted to show him some venues, besides the usual ones on pasteur.

the new nissan tiida from alamo has no latch inside the car to open the trunk. to open the trunk you have to press the button on the driver's door that unlocks the doors, then go to the trunk and under the chrome molding above the license plate there is a flat small button that you press to open the trunk (the car key didn't fit all the way into the lock on the trunk).

duty free is open for arriving passengers in sdq. there is a large duty free shop near the baggage carousel where you pick up your luggage. 5 cartons of marlboro lights were 114 dollars in that shop (in new york one carton is 80 dollars). baileys 18 dollars per bottle. ketelone vodka around 24.

in casa theresa, a santiago light skinned chica with nice big breasts sat next to me. she had on a loose fitting open black shirt, no bra, the shirt just draped over her breasts and she kept moving her shirt so that i could see her nipples. cute face, long dark hair, she had braces on her teeth, no ass. she put my hand on her nipples and she was grabbing my dick above my pants while she sat with me. she was working me trying to get me to go with her. i bought her a drink (alize), i believe her drink was 480 pesos. she had the johnson hard. abr mainline was to my left with a different chica. we had one or two beers in casa theresa and exited. i did not ask the prices.

Yeah (Bq Ribs) that was some bar hoppin in a 5hr time. My head is still messed up! I had been at Pacos drinkin since noon or so, so by the time I got to the airport to catch my flt, I was lite up good time though. Yes I did have a great time at the bars (Jaosousa) showed me. That last bar we hit on #6 on Nunez de Caceres was fun. That chica that spoke good english put he cell# in my phone haven't called her yet, I'm mad at myself cause as she sat on my lap I could feel her pussy gettin hot and wet so I should have fucked her oh well next time. I'm lookin towards my next time in SD (4/25-4/28) my b-day is 4/26 seems like there is alot more to do in SD then in Boca Chica, alot more to explore and alot more chicas to hunt. The Jaguar Hotel I stayed at was ok, but like they say you get what you pay for. Jaosousa thank you again for the ride to the airport and showing me around I owe you big time!

In that area Jaguar is probably one of the cheaper decent hotels. You can get just a "room" at other hotels with the basics cheaper but I don't think you would like it. Jaguar should have cost you $50-55 a night for the larger room with frig.

A lot of guys like Riazor but I think that is closer to $60-65 a night. I have never stayed there so I may be off on the rates. Another hotel is La Casana Dorada (sp) but I haven't heard anyone talk about that hotel lately.

I have been splitting my time between Jaguar and Carey House lately. Carey House has small rooms but a nice small hotel. Only problem it is a 10 minute walk to anywhere you might want to go. One more would be Hotel Venezia on Independencia a 5 minute walk to Pacos.

I was lit too. I got back to my room at the palacio and called a chica, she was sleeping, it was after 1am. I fell right to sleep.

The tall dark busty santiago chica got freaky with the dance pole. She told me 1500 pesos for 30 minutes, they have rooms on site. There was one small chica who was cute but she was a sleepy head. They were watching some movie on hbo that had the Rock playing football. That one vodka and cranberry drink for the tall busty chica loosened her up.

Your chica was cute, light skin, friendly, she spoke good english. It was a fun night, I hope we do it again.

That was a fast ride to the airport, for international flights you have to be there at least one hour before departure, you got there with about an hour and ten minutes before your flight.

Too bad some of the venues were closed on Sunday. GBP is fun and cats looks like it can fun.

You got a little nervous when I took you into casa azul. The guy opens the metal gate and I parked in the parking lot. The chicas had the hair net on at 6pm, as though they had recently awoken.

For the place at No. 6 Ave. Nunez de caceres, I didn't know where it was. I wasn't sure if it was north of Kennedy (you can't cross Kennedy there, it is blocked with construction), I asked the guard at the Banco Popular and he said No. 8 Nunez de caceres was near the bank. I was looking for a Corripio store sign, (I didn't see a corripio store there), you have to look for the sign with DC (distributos corripio) on the top and across the street from that sign is the bar. I still couldn't find the place, some old man was crossing the street and I asked, "donde es la casa con chicas?", he pointed me in the direction of the place, I made a U-turn and he pointed to the metal stairs that you take to get to the second floor where the bar is located. There are a few perpendicular parking spaces in front.

There is a place nobody has reported about. The place is located just outside the airport in the area known as El Barrio. My cousin was there about 2 years ago and with his help we found the place on Google Earth. He told me his taxi took him to the place which has a large tall wall a gated entrance, an outdoor pool, bar and dancing pole. The place also has like 20 rooms and we he entered the place the girls were naked. He told the place was nice and the price at that time was 2500 pesos. He stayed at Mercure on that travel and saw one of the girls arriving to the hotel with an old guy, she regognized him and smiled at her. Anybody know about this place?

Are you referring to "Paco" run by a late 50's fellow from NYC named Juan, you make a right just before the airport ramp, and he has a large pool, a bar inside, and about 15 rooms. Back in the day there were some hot chicas, but I have not been in a few years.

PS: I looked at the map, and this looks like it is a little further West than "Paco"! Paco is just north of the ramp into AILA.

Her sister had on almost the same exact dress also with the hair net. The chica in your photo had braces on her teeth when I saw her last Sunday. She did not look very sexy with the hair net and the not so nice dress. Her and her sister both appear to be skinny. The chica in your photo does have nice lips (tits looked small, maybe her ass is nice, I didn't see her from behind).

Back in the day, I am talking like 2002-2003 he generally had a few stunners, but you need to be firm negotiating with Juan, if you arrive with 2 or 3 other mongers you can negotiate with him otherwise he starts at like RD3500 TLN.

Outdoor tables where you can sit and smoke. The tall busty morena chica followed me outside and asked me for a cigarette, that is how I got started with her. That chica and the chica that abr mainline had were pleasant, didn't ask for money. The tall chica was dancing crazy, she had her hands on the floor with her ass up in the air, she had a short skirt on, so her ass was totally visible when she had her hands on the floor. She was also doing some stripper moves on the pole as well as grinding me and letting me touch her wherever I wanted. I had fun.

I drank no alcohol today. I had sex with a 25 year chica around 7pm. The chica left here around 7:30pm and I connected in msn messenger. Some chica in my msn messenger started chatting with me. I told her I was in Santo Domingo and she said she wanted to see me. She had no photo and I could not remember anything about her. She gave me her number and said she could meet me outside UTESA University on Ave. Maximo Gomez at 9:30pm, I said sure. I was not horny, I was tranquil, just being friendly.

I looked at boricua online's monger map. The chica told me UTESA was on maximo gomez and jose contreras. I drove up pasteur to bolivar and made a left on bolivar and drove to maximo gomez. The chica told me there was a supermercado nacional next to UTESA.

At maximo gomez I made a right turn, I did not know where UTESA was on Maximo Gomez. I stopped my car on Maximo Gomez to ask someone for directions and they told me I was going the wrong way. There were two National Police on a motorcycle (how romantic for them, they get to ride together on a small motorcycle all night long).

The two policia nacional made a U-turn and told me to pull over. No reason. I said to the officer in Spanish that in my country a police officer has to have a reason to pull a car over. The policia nacional officer responded that in DR the police don't have to have a reason to pull over a car. This officer asked for my documents. I got on the phone and called my friend who is in the policia nacional and I put him on the phone with the guy who pulled me over, after that they were super nice to me.

I went and picked up the chica in front of UTESA, she was cute, I was just being friendly, I had no interest in having sex with her. I showed her the apartment where I am now and I drove her home to villa mella.

On the way back to the apartment, again, two other polica nacional pulled me over for nothing, on maximo gomez right after 27 de febrero. They were nasty, treating me like a lowlife criminal. I gave the guy my passport, the paperwork for the car and my drivers license. He asked and I answered the same questions three times, (as though I was talking to a piece of wood). I called my friend again and put him on the phone with the guys who pulled me over, after that they were nice to me.

The previous night I drove to manolos at around 1am to get a cheese burger, on the drive back to zona colonial I saw two policia nacional in front of me, they pulled over some SUV for nothing. The streets in zona colonial were empty, sure enough I see two policia nacional on a motorcycle and they make a turn so that they could follow me, luckily I was close to Hotel Palacio and I pulled into the parking garage for the Hotel Palacio before they could try to pull me over.

At this moment (2:30AM) I want to drive over to a hotel casino where a chica I know works and stop in and say hello to her. But I know more than likely that I will probably get stopped at least one more time (if not more) by the policia nacional.

It is a form of harassment. I don't want to drive at night here. Unless the Dominican Government straightens this out, Santo Domingo will never be a prime tourist destination and they will lose tourist dollars. I am driving slow, not drinking and I have to be harassed by polica nacional, because their pay is low, they believe it is acceptable to terrorize and harass tourists in order to try and make some money.

Casa Theresa seems way overpriced to me. 480 pesos for a chica drink (Alize) is highway robbery. I paid because the chica was fine and she was stroking my dick. I wouldn't rush to go back to casa theresa.

The small male bartender at casa azul is pleasant, he told me the owner (a former mexican wrestler) has bad health now. Casa azul is low key, safe parking inside the gate. The chicas are usually pleasant there.

The Santiago chica who sat with me at casa theresa, I could tell was all about the money, she was fine, but I knew I wouldn't pay her asking price, so I didn't bother to ask what her price was.

If the hotel offers free breakfast, I will go and eat some eggs and bread. Usually I will eat very late at night, a cheeseburger with french fries at manolos. I am friendly with the waiters there. APEC University is on Maximo Gomez across the street from the Barcelo Lina Hotel, close to Ave. 27 de Febrero. I was told that APEC is more expensive than UTESA University. Utesa is also on Ave. Maximo Gomez near ave. jose contreras, south of avenida bolivar. I saw some cute chicas coming out of UTESA at around 9 30 pm.

UTESA University I was told is more expensive than UASD University. The street that takes you to the entrance for UASD is about 2-3 blocks behind the Hilton Hotel on the Malecon.

I drove to Villa Mella last night, first time I was there. The metro runs above the roadway there, with cars driving under the cement structure that holds the tracks. I was told the Metro stops running around 10 PM at night.

i have traveled hundred of times on taxi and they have never been stopped by police, so put some removable plastic letters to your car: jaosousa taxi, unit 0069 and maybe that will work for you.i have only seen the policia nacional pull over new, expensive vehicles. taxi drivers have no money, the policia nacional will not waste their time on taxis.

they will not pull over cars with broken headlights, or motorcycles with no lights, or guys driving old cars in the wrong direction on certain roads, or old cars that go through red lights. the policia nacional are not looking for criminals, they are looking for rich people to shake down. the gua gua drivers drive dented and scratched up vehicles because those drivers don't care about the rules of the road, the policia nacional never pull those drivers over.

the policia nacional will pull over guys like me, 50 year old white professionals who have money and are spending money in the dominican republic. somehow in their pea brains they believe that pissing off guys like me will somehow benefit their country.

i have been driving here in the states for over 25 years, i have been stopped twice by police in 25 years of driving here (one time for a broken brake light lamp, which was dismissed when i showed a receipt for a new lamp and one time 22 years ago for a speeding ticket).

compare that to the dominican republic, on my most recent trips in dom rep, i have spent about 20 days in santo domingo. in those 20 days in santo domingo i have been stopped by the policia nacional at least 10 times. i was breaking no laws. every single stop was an attempt by the policia nacional to extract money from me.

my time is valuable and i don't go on vacation to be stopped on some busy dark street and be treated like a piece of shit, by some illiterate 20 year old policia nacional officer who is breaking my balls looking for a donation.

i can tolerate the grime, the filth, the dirt of santo domingo. i can tolerate the chicas who say they will be at some location at a specified time and show up two hours late. i can tolerate the fact that santo domingo is not teeming with beautiful chicas (there are cute chicas there but there are also a lot of dogs). i can tolerate paying 26% in taxes for restaurants and hotels (prices that sometimes compare to new york city). i can tolerate the air pollution, the horrible traffic, the bad roads and the bad drivers.

i cannot tolerate an arm of the dominican government (policia nacional) being given free reign to hunt down tourists like me for the sole purpose of trying to extract money from me.

i have encouraged other mongers to go to santo domingo. i have tried to be helpful. i will no longer recommend santo domingo. if a guy cannot rent a car and drive around santo domingo without being constantly harassed by rude, disrespectful, ignorant, threatening policia nacional, there is no point in going to santo domingo. there is nothing super special about santo domingo that outweighs the miserable conduct of the policia nacional. as i told some of the policia nacional who pulled me over, maybe they will be happy when no tourists visit santo domingo and therefore less money for the dominican government and the dominican people.
